excellent experience

I don't know how I can express my appreciation for Manny D. During the 2 hours I was sitting together with him at Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg, a suburb of Chicago, I enjoyed time with him. I didn't feel I was meeting a salesperson. He helped me as a personal coach and a consultant in buying a new car. In comparison with 2 sales people I had met in the previous days in different dealerships, Manny seemed very honest, supportive and friendly. I thought he had a really great skill of customer service. I needed a person like him, because I was quite nervous. It was the first time to buy a new car with a loan in my life. In addition, the negotiated price was the best I had got ever for a Hyundai Sonata 2013 in Chicago area, even in Illinois. Yes, I did a negotiation with Manny!, but the process was very reasonable and smooth. The installment rate was very satisfactory. Manny was not pushy, thus I could make my final decision of purchase in a more comfortable way. The paper work went also well. Manny followed up with me a couple of times to confirm whether I like the new car. He helped me set up the Blue Link, a voice recognition system instead of me. I saved a lot of time due to his help. Awesome! Jesse J., business manager at Patrick Hyundai who helped the final paper work was also very professional in making me understand the whole business. I'd recommend Manny at Patrick Hyundai strongly if you consider Hyundai.

went to patrick hyundai because it is a big dealership and got great reviews but after my own personal experience they are real nice to you when you come in the door but after they get your money its like see you later . all the great reviews about the dealership came from new cars sales cause of course they will be real nice to you after you spent big b.ucks we on the other hands were just a lowly used car sales. the worst part of it is that we cane into buy a used car.the saleman showed us several none of which i liked so the salesman seemed annoyed. he said i will look around for some other cars and call you, which he never did, well later found a couple of cars i liked.I called the dealership about it. they asked me what time i would be there. i was greeted by a salesman who was very polite and said they will bring the car around. we took it out for a test drive, and i checked the car out. it seemed nicely kept so we decided to purchase it. well it was a lengthy process, then it was getting late so the loan officer who didnt really explain much then rips me off by selling me a gap insurance policy. well none the less we said we would pick up the car in a few days. well the salesman said call me before you come. well we picked up the car on saturday, then the next day the car wouldnt start, so monday i call the salesman and he says bring it back. i left it with the service dept. they checked out the car and says we checked the battery, starter and alternator and found nothing wrong and told us to get the car. well the next day the car did the same thing. well it did the same think except now they wont do nothing and even when i tried to talk to a manager i never got a return call. i made several requests for a return call and nothing. the worst part is that they knew the car had a major problem starting which is why they made sure i called before coming so they would have it running.so we wouldnt know that it had a problem starting. it is an expensive repair, they knew but they deceived us by covering up its problem and when we discovered it they did whatever they could to ignore and avoid us. the worst part is that i bought this car for my disabled sister to go to the doctors but cant because its not reliable. nor does she have that kind of money to repair it because she is on disability. they deceived us by hidding the problem and now wont do nothing to help. so if you buy a new car they will act all nice but if you buy a used car then forget it [non-permissible content removed].

2013 Hyundai Sonata Purchase

Overall, a very pleasant experience. I got an initial quote before I went on the internet which lowered the price considerably as Patrick matched it. Dave P., the salesman, was great to deal with. Also, this dealership has $8.95 oil changes for as long as I own the car which is a terrific deal.

2013 Sonata Limited

Patrick Hyundai sold me the exact car that I was looking for equipped precicely as I wanted at an excellent price and didn't make me fight for any of it -- Darrick T. was pleasant and helpful and did everything I asked of him -- It was a genuine pleasure doing business with him.......and to find an honest dealership that doesn't pull punches --

Good deal with new interesting sales experience

Was looking for specific car and able to found in their inventory, got lease deal fast enough, but..they did not show my numbers calculation and it turned that they promised and did not apply certificate from TrueCar of 1K. Interesting was that I got a call from sales person back with kind of frustration that why I did not rate him all 10s! Hey buddy, I respect your business and you need to respect mine, especially when I did not pushed you guys to hard to show me all numbers and was flexible as far as I got the expected number (although could get even lower). Good dealership - but got new experience by such call back :-)

I visited a number of dealers looking for another car for my family. Most, I ran out of because of the demeanor and obvious lies I was told about cars I found online. Patrick Hyundai was different. They honored the price I found online, they were very courteous and helpful. Shopping for a car is never an easy decision, but Patrick Hyundai seemed to take the stress out of my experience.

I am confusing in selecting which hybrid model to pick. Toyato, Hyundai or Ford.. But thanks to Many from sales team at patric hyundai who helped me and provided me all information which made my selection easier.. I got best lowest price for my car.. I never thought I would buy a Hyundai. But then my nephew got one and my family raved about it and the great warranty and service. I did my research on a few different makes and models and the Elantra was always at the top of the lists. I got worn out the "hard sell" I got at other dealers. Mike was the best. He talked me through the car and its attributes. He was patient in answering my questions as a first time buyer. Mark and Jess did the best to get me the extras I wanted in a financial secure way for me. All in all a great experience.

We just bought our second car from Patrick Hyundai and again had a very positive experience. We did the Costco pricing, so that was painless. Negotiating trade-in value was a pain, but it always is. Dave, our salesman, worked hard for us. Jesse, the finance guy got us a great rate, this on a car in very high demand and hard to get. Love the Genesis Coupe. What a car and what a car for the money!

Overall great customer service at Patrick Hyundai and our fantastic sales representative Mr. Young K. I recommend him, especially if your first language is Korean. He was very personable, honest, and answered all of our questions very thoroughly. He was very understanding and patient with our million questions. Even after we bought the car, Mr. K. was kind enough to follow up on us and offer to be available to answer any more questions in the future. I feel very reassured my family and I made the right decision in buying from this dealership because of him. My family and I walked out very pleased with our brand new Hyundai Elantra. We did an internet search and drove 1 and 1/2 hours to get to Patrick Hyundai. We went to another Hyundai dealer much closer to where we live and in the final price negotiations walked out after upping our price twice and leaving with a $20 per month difference. Patrick Hyundai was was a much different and far superior experience. Thank you Jenny and everyone we worked with for a great experience!

OLD SALES TACTICS

DO NOT BUY AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! We were low-balled. Meaning we were given an unrealistic low lease payment. Found out when we visited another Hyndai dealership. They ran numbers on the same exact model at invoice and were told that it was not possible to get anywhere near that payment amount. When we returned, the salesman (Luke) tried to separate me from my wife so she would sign papers by herself. After stating I had to be at work by a certain time, Luke delayed the time to sit down with the finance manager. Told me to go to work and my wife could sign papers. IN ADDITION, he took a check we gave him to give the finance manager and instead dropped it in a safe that couldn't be open except by armor guards and morning staff. We left to return the next day when we found out he was trying to hide fees. Long story short, called police to dealership to try and retrieve our money. Police tried to persuade manager to return money but manager told police it wasn't their concern (civil matter). They asked police to leave the dealership. In talks with the dealership owner's administration staff trying to get our money back.

My dealer at Patrick Hyundai had retired as i had bought my last five cars from him here I got first class service from a new dealer there a Mr Jose G. and i am very happy to say he bent backwards for me!I would recommend him to everybody He even gave me a call a week after i bought the car there and said if i ever needed anything please call him a.s.a.p. So far i am very very happy with Patrick Hyundai and Mr. G.! First class service from a first class dealership! Thanks again Jose!!!

First and foremost I would like to extend a thank you to Mario and Kristin. They went out of their way to ensure I left with a car within my budget. The process was simple, fast and enjoyable. they got me financed before I ever entered the dealer (5 stars) Once there they were up front with the cost of the car and trade-in value of my existing chevy lemon (5 stars) Kristin and Mario went out of their way and put me in a brand new 2013 sonata(10 stars) instead of a used car most dealerships will do. Kristin and Mario are experienced, professional an a asset to the Patrick Auto Group team. I will continue to give you guys my business (once my excellent 10yr 100k warranty is up) and send my friends and family their as well. Excellent Customer Service!!
