Smooth car-buying experience

This was my first experience buying a car online. I live in Portland and had been looking for a 2024 540 since they first arrived stateside a couple of months ago. When I found a likely suspect on the BMW Seattle website, I emailed and got a response from Robert Gerth. He was knowledgable and forthright, and we worked out a deal quickly. Once we arrived in Seattle, he spent the morning with my wife and me going over the car and turned us over to Staci Resnikoff for the paperwork. (We had our six-year-old granddaughter with us, and Staci was prepared with crayons and coloring projects--nice touch!) As car purchases go, this one was actually as enjoyable as one could expect.

Colin had contacted me via email about the car I was looking at. Drove down and asked for him and he continued to take care of my buying experience the rest of the day. Even during the paperwork process he continually checked in to make sure I was good. Rachel in finance was just as amazing with a very personable demeanor, making the paperwork process easy as well.

Sales experience

Regarding dealer added fees, BMW Seattle is upfront and not excessive with those fees and services added to the asking price. Look in the fine print. Other dealers add thousands to the posted price in excess junk fees and options not requested. Not so with BMW Seattle. Their added fee is small and clearly stated. That is a mark of honesty. As for the sales process, Shad was thorough and completely professional in all his dealings throughout my car buying experience. He has just the right amount of customer attentiveness without being pushy.

My first point of contact Colin was very helpful since the beginning up until the delivery. He was quick to respond and always reachable. He in fact made sure my order was placed immediately with the available slot. It was a pleasure working him (I did not get a chance to work with anyone other representative at the dealership) Andy from finance was nice to work with too. He helped with some documents I needed as a follow up too.
