Poor customer service, lacks Professionalism

On February 24 I bought a 2016 1500 Dodge RAM truck, told him i need a reliable work truck. It was not the truck I came for, but he showed me this truck with less miles and it's pretty much the same. I did a test drive, it seem fine. Went through the sale. On my drive home with the truck the engine light turned on. I called my rep and told him. He said to bring it in. The next day the engine light was off. So, I thought maybe it's was nothing. Towards the end of the day the check engine light was back. I called the service department they told me, the earliest appointment is next week to talk to my sales rep. So Wed I decided to bring the truck in and talk to Kenneth. The manager came out and had the truck diagnosed. He said it need a new fuel pump not to worry everything is covered. I said that's fine when can I leave it and when can I have it back. We made an appointment for Friday March 1st. I said I would like to have it back Saturday he said we'll try if not Saturday then Monday, I said ok. I have received a text from the technician that if I have any questions feel free to text. Which I did, I expressed some other concerns. I never got any reply. I came Saturday to check if the truck is ready because no one reached out to me. When I got there I was told the manager i spoke to was out sick. Monday came, I got a text saying "hello, they have a fuel pump on order for you. - Madeleine" at this time I'm upset and kicking myself. I should have just exchange the truck. I decided to go back and talk to the same manager thinking maybe he can help me expedite things. When I got there it took seem a while to come out and when he did. He told me that it had to be approved first before they can order now it's been order I have to wait. I asked him why did he not let me know this in the beginning why tell me I could get the truck back Saturday or Monday he already know it has to go through that motion. He told me he was sick this is his first day back. First of all if your a manager you can not use the "I'm sick" excuse especially to your customers. The lack of professionalism is overwhelming. I technician, that is suppose to be fixing the truck I have never spoken to him. I asked to speak to him he said tomorrow. Tomorrow came and left without him calling. No explain has been given to me. They don't offer you loaners. All I know, my truck that I bought from your Autonation on February 24 has been in your service department since March 1 it is currently March 8, for a fuel pump. Even your customer compliance rep has given up on me and is not responding to my text. This is not acceptable, something has to be done.

Took to long to receive a diagnose

Took to long to receive a diagnose from a schedule appointment on a concern with my 2500 Ram. Very disappointed in the length of time my truck was in the shop. Madeline the service advisor deserves a 5 star rating. She help me to digest the aggravation much better. Her communication back an forth to me meant a lot. Thank you Madeline for stepping up, after my original service advisor was out. You are a plus for Auto Nation.

In and out quick-horrible communication

Not sure why I keep returning for service here. Never greeted when I arrive, have to always go inside to find someone. Service is timely, which is one positive. Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Was texted with optional services needed. Responded to text to just do 1 of the additional service items. No response and they proceeded to add cabin filter which I specifically said no to. No quote or follow up text to any of the extra services recommended. No solution except, oops we're sorry at cashier. Texted later with apology and offered free oil change.... but of course, no instructions on how to redeem "free oil change."

Service Department

I had four issues for repair and three items of maintenance to be performed. The main issue was diagnosed on 7/24/23 and didn't get to pick it up until 9/8/23. My last text was on 8/24/23 telling them to have it ready 9/8/23 for when I get back in town and I redirected to at least have the maintenance items completed by then. The last repair item understandably is running into supply issues. As it turned out there was an additional maintenance item needed, I said yes. That item was performed but not any of the original three. I was texted saying it was ready to be picked up 9/6/23 without the three maintenance issue performed. When being presented with the bill it started out at $2000 something which sounded close to what I thought. He found mistakes in the labor and got it down to $1200 something. I think the first invoice included what maintenance wasn't done. He said when the backordered part comes in they would then do the maintenance items! WOW! This visit was better than the previous one which took six weeks with virtually no communication. That improved drastically.

Oil Change turned into regal seevice

Dropped my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee off on Saturday for an oil change that would take less than 2 hours. Got a call that it was not save to drive due to a recall, but they couldn’t get to it until a Monday and they have NO rental cars, so I either drive my jeep and risk something happening or be without a vehicle. I ended up leaving it as much as I didn’t want to. The only thing that kept me sane was Madeleine in the service department. She kept me updated through text and was amazing the whole time!! If only everyone was as nice and caring as her! My vehicle was done on Monday around 1 so atleast it wasn’t too long. My main complaint is, if you are buying a brand new vehicle and spending all that money, you should definitely get a rental car one way or another!!!
