The salesman was a perfect gentleman

The Star Motors salesman, Armando Trentini, was a perfect gentleman. I told him that I wanted an XC90 with certain features. He encouraged me to test drive and compare a new XC60, as well as used Volvos, to be certain of my request. Afterward we sat in his office where he further educated me on all aspects of the cars. Without a fuss he offered a very fair "drive-out" cost for a new XC90. Needing to visit another Houston showroom, Armando gave me directions to Volvo of Houston, which is the only other high-rated dealership in the area. During my visit there, I had to help the salesman find the cars on the lot! He was ill informed and impersonal-even after I suggested I buy two used Volvo's-one for my son. Armando contacted me later in the day for a friendly follow-up. Never a word from Volvo of Houston-could it be because I am an older woman? Result: I bought the XC 90, traded in my husband's Pathfinder, received the Volvo incentive for $1000 as I also have the XC70 Volvo wagon, and hugged Armando before I drove home in my new car. I buy all the cars in our family and I have never hugged a car salesman before!
