onThe staff at the dealership was very attentive and quick to respond. Xavier, our salesman, went above and beyond and did an excellent job!! We have been looking for a car for over 3 months and came across Young Chevrolet. Xavier had us in a new 2023 vehicle within the SAME DAY! This was the friendliest salesman and dealership that we have been too. Everything about the process went smoothly and quickly. I have already recommended Xavier Pérez and Young Chevrolet to many of my friends and family. A++++

Multi vehicle inspection

onWent for oil change. Supposedly they have a multi check on vehicle. They failed to check my coolant was empty luckily I checked my self before my engine blew up. Disappointing .

Brought my Malibu in to repair a tire and get an oil change

onTurned out my tire couldn't be repaired...but I have tire & wheel insurance. Without menitioning that to the Service writer..she was asute enought to look up my records...When I went to tell her about the insurance..she had already submitted my claim...had a new tire (19") installed and ready to go in less than two hours..plus the oil change Cost of tire. ZERO.....Oil change ZERO...used my Chevy Reward points.... Saved over $400

onThe checking in process has change for oil changes and it is causing a backup on the service isle. There is not enough personnel on the service isle for this. once you finally get checked in, it is ok.

onIt took Young Chevrolet 6 weeks to get my car fixed . there ws not even major damage. I will never use them again. they are SO SO SO SLOW !!! They always said they were waiting on parts or waiting on the insurance .. I have never had to wait SO LONG to get repairs completed.

On-star module replacement

onMy hands-free calling feature stopped working and the dealership determined that the on-star module had to be replaced. It took awhile to get it serviced due to the high volume of vehicles in the shop but when the part came in it was fixed quickly.

Terrible customer service!

onWalking into this dealership was the worst mistake my fiance and I made while trying to buy a 2016 Camaro convertible. I guess because they thought we looked too young to be able to afford this car, they did not take us seriously. We could have walked out the door with 2 of them with the financing amount we had in place. We gave them 2-3 days notice that we were interested in the car and that we would be driving almost 7 hours one way to come see it. When we arrived, the car was not as advertised; It was missing the black bow ties listed on the window sticker that they were charging for. We still wanted to test drive the vehicle and were mortified when the check engine light came on before we could even pull out of the driveway. The one person at the dealership that could fix it wasn't there, so we had to go back the following day. We went back the next day to finally get to test drive it and found a small scratch that we asked them to fix if we buy the car. The General Sales Manager, Dennis Steele, was terribly offended at this and told us that "maybe we should buy elsewhere" because they "didn't think they would be able to bring it up to our standards." Total overreaction to something so trivial! We still went for the test drive, which was pretty much illegal since they handed us a paper plate and told us to hang onto it in case we get pulled over, instead of putting it on the car. After we returned from the test drive, we still wanted to buy the car. We were then given an insulting low-ball trade offer, which we politely contested (as ANYONE on the planet buying a car would do). I mentioned that similar vehicles in the area were selling for twice as much, to which Bill Martin, the New Sales Manager, replied very condescendingly that we should sell it ourselves and again "go buy elsewhere." We asked the sales lady, Barbara Chaote, to step away for a minute so we could make a phone call to see about having it transferred to another dealership. She agreed and immediately went to her co-workers and started talking badly about my fiance and I within earshot. We heard this and were enraged at the unprofessional behavior -- at least wait until we get out the door!! So, my fiance very loudly said he was going to write a one star review about the dealership. Bill came back over and said we could do that outside and they were asking us to leave. As we were walking out the door, Bill called my fiance an "arrogant idiot" which did not sit well with him, resulting in words being exchanged. Bill followed us out the door and threatened my fiance to try to get him to fight, and then tried to say he was going to make him spend the night in jail. For what, we're still not sure since we were doing nothing illegal as we were leaving like they asked us to. I do not know if the problem was that we walked in with financing in place as well as the supplier discount since he works at USAA. They knew they would not make as much off of the sale as they would with someone without these options. Maybe they hate anything affiliated with the military? I can't say for sure what their problem was, but that is my opinion. If your only option is to buy from Young Chevrolet, please ask another dealership to have the vehicle transferred over for you so you do not have to be treated this way. I have never in my life seen a dealership turn away a perfectly good sale that would have been incredibly easy since they would have never had to see us again. They need to learn not to judge a book by its cover, especially since this book could have provided proof of financing with the paperwork we brought in the door from USAA. We are awaiting a response from GM/Chevrolet corporate, as we have both filed formal complaints. Take this for what you will, but I hope that hearing about our experience with (and opinions about) this dealership will help you make an educated decision. Please don't let them walk all over you and treat you like garbage when buying a car should be a fun experience! We have ordered the 2017 model from our local dealership, who treated us a thousand times better. Can't wait until it arrives!

onMistreats perfectly good customers who walk in with $75,000 in cash, trying to buy a car that costs half as much. Bill Martin will threaten you with violence and call you an arrogant idiot if they realize they can't make any money off you, because you did your research and called them out on their low-ball trade offer. They will try to sell you a car that is missing dealer installed options listed on the window sticker, with mechanical issues straight from the factory, and will suggest you buy a car somewhere else if you find so much as a single scratch in the paint. I will gladly be taking that advice, and take my $75,000 somewhere else, and make sure that no one that I talk to ever again will go to Young Chevrolet, either.
