Terrible customer service

onNEVER PURCHASE A CAR AT THE CLAY COOLEY MITSUBISHI IN ARLINGTON TX!!!! My husband and I went to the clay Cooley Mitsubishi in Arlington to see about trading in our car we purchased from them over a year ago.We were assisted by a representative, she was nice. However, when she told us we werent able to trade in our car because it was through the in house program, we told her we were told by multiple clay Cooley reps that were able to trade in within 12-15 months of having the vehicle if we made our payments. She told us she will talk to her boss and have him speak to us. So as I waited with my two children, my husband stepped outside to take a phone call.Five minutes passed and her boss storms out of the office yelling in front of everyone in the building saying if they dont have $6,000-$7,000 they cant trade in nothing! And he stormed into another room and never acknowledged us at all.

onSo 3 years ago i bought a car from Clay Cooley and did not like the service that i had received when i bought car last time. So i decided to go back to the dealership with my old car and when i met Ory he had so much energy that it mad me smile and when i was looking at cars he seem to have a general care about my need and what car fitted me best with my family and now i have a dodge journey and i love it. The service was just great and i loved the popcorn machine my kids where happy with that.

Definately Go See Bruce Johnson!
by 12/21/2015
onFirst off, I had a Sentra from the Clay Cooley in Ft Worth. Not that all reps are bad there, but, summary is, I got a car in color, price, miles, year, & contract that I did not want, & was stuck with it for 2 years. I got lied to by the young sales rep named Mason several times in order for him to make a commission not caring what you wanted. Now, I expected the same at this dealership, but was wrong. Bruce greeted us upon arrival, Yea! (Saved time to help you find what you really want to look at.) After a few minutes, we decided we wanted the 2015 Black Mitsubishi Outlander. So, we went for a test drive. The suv had the push start button, & all the bells & wistles. We decided it was gonna cost too much for monthly. Bruce found us the same one in red, $200 lower a month, without all the xtras. We go in to do the paperwork, application stuff. That process of making an agreement took about 2 to 3 hours. Bruce was very helpful, not insisting on a high down payment, not forcing us to get what we didn't want. He saved us a LOT of money from having a hudge down payment, & got us a low monthly payment! We had to only give our payment for our car that was due in a few days for the down payment. Now, what took the longest, was waiting for the financing. That took 3 to 4 hours! In summery, Bruce Johnson, got us a brand new Outlander with 9 miles on it, for 500 down, & a trade in 08 Sentra with 123K miles. So bring a smaller cooler with a few drinks, snacks, & food, because the waiting time is long. But Bruce got us the deal we wanted, & will definately go see him again for our next vehicle! Definately worth the wait in the long run compaired to what we arrived in. Best Christmas gift my wife has got in a long time. I hope this helps some of you. Thank you so much Bruce, & hope you have a very merry Christmas! We will!

Most annoying salesmen ever
by 07/01/2014
onWe went to their used car lot during our lunch hour to look at pickups. Found a couple that met our criteria and pretty soon a salesman came over to us. He didn't know the price of any of these pickups and all he wanted to do was get us inside to fill out an information sheet on us. We asked repeatedly for the price but all he wanted was for us to take a test drive. We told him we didn't want to test drive until we knew the price. He turned us over to his manager, who gave us another song and dance about having to fill out the information sheet and test drive. He did finally get on his computer and print out a sheet which he said was the inventory of all the pickups on their lot, but he never showed it to us and never gave us a price on the pickups we were interested in. Then he tried to steer us to other vehicles and we just left. Nothing but games with these guys.

RUN FAR AWAY
by 01/30/2014
onIf I could give this place negative stars, I would. This place is the epitome of [non-permissible content removed]. They advertise one price, but when you go in, they say "oh, that model is for no AC and no radio. i can pull it around if you'd like to see." Ok, FYI, if he says that, DO IT, because I called around and found out that that model doesn't even come with a version of no AC and no radio. Secondly, the manager is SUPER aggressive. I was willing to put most of my cash upfront, but he wouldn't even budge to match competitors. In fact, he told me I should go there, so I took him up on that. He will print up a sheet that shows that he is "losing" money... Hey guys, EVERY dealer will do that to you when he isn't willing to work with you. If they were losing money, they wouldn't sell it to you. Think about it. Oh, and that $3000? It's for used cars, but they might do you a favor for the new car, but that's only if you can pay sticker. These guys know every trick in the book and they are willing to do it.

BUYER BEWARE, SCAMS GALORE
by 05/28/2013
onI came to this dealership because an ex-friend of mine works here. I told him what I was looking for (compact SUV) and when I would come. He promised me that he would give me a good deal. I believed him. After test-driving several cars, I settled on a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander, the only one they had on the lot. When I test drove it, the salesperson told me it was a 6-cylinder. I was very impressed with how it drove. Once we returned to the lot, I expressed how much I liked the car. My ex-friend offered to sell it to me at $200 below MSRP. I asked him why so low of a discount and he said because Mitsubishi has very little mark-ups. He said he was already losing money on my deal and that was the best he could do. He allowed me to drive it home which, unfortunately for him, allowed me to do my own research on this car. First, it wasn't a 6-cylinder. I found out by checking the VIN on a website. Second, I didn't notice at first, but it had 3500 miles on it and was on their lot for 8 months. This was basically a used new car that he was trying to sell as brand new. I found out from another dealer that once a new car hits 500 miles, they're supposed to disclose it as a demo and often reduce the price because of the additional mileage. This friend NEVER told me that this car was a demo. Happily, I was able to find the exact same car at Don Herring Plano where I got a great deal on both my new car and my trade!
