Outstanding experience

Bought a vehicle there, had an issue with it as I drove it for the first two weeks. I contacted my salesperson, Leah Shinn, and she saw to it that my issue was resolved. I am truly grateful to this dealership for standing behind their products even after the "as-is" sale. Thank you MB of Nashville!

SERVICE AWFUL-SALES PERSON OF CAR GREAT

First let me start by saying my salesperson was great-JAN was her name. No problem there- BUT after I received my car 2 weeks later the service engine light came on- I was in a meeting across the street from The CoolSprings dealership so I thought I would just pull in the service department and let them know- I knew it was a diagnostic issue and they would need for me to return and them test it- I pulled into a bay- Guy came out - no one else was there so not busy- he could hardly function on getting the info- he went into the building and came back out a few times- then finally he said for me to come into service center and make an appointment- we then walk thru the main service counter to behind the counter and ended up me hovering over a girl at the switch board- HOW STRANGE - she was rude and like I was a bother- ask my name to look up - she found nothing- then ask for my vin number- told me to go to the car and get it- still she was like I was a bother- I feel like the service person should have gone and got the VIN off my car- but anyway she got it said they had nothing until December if I wanted a loaner- or I could drop off on Monday- I agreed to Monday- and booked Dec also just in case- SHE WAS SO HATEFUL - I drove off told my husband the ordeal and he said HECK NO NOT after buying a NEW car ---this treatment would not work- SO I called my prior dealer MERCEDES OF MUSIC CITY- they took my info then pulled up my VIN and got me in that day- NO PROBLEM!!! I pulled in- They had 3 guys come out w/ iPads- checked me in-& they were busy- then went inside to my assigned Service person- which she had an office for me to sit! - she reviewed everything w/ me - got me a latte - and then off I went TOTALLY FIRST CLASS SERVICE---- MY SUGGESTION AS A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL IS THAT MERCEDES OF NASHVILLE NEEDS TO DO AN ON SITE VIST TO MERCEDES OF MUSIC CITY- THAT IS HOW IT IS DONE!!!!!! I tried several years ago to buy a car from MB Nashville and had a crappy ordeal- went then to MB Music City and was treated excellent- went back before I purchased this car and they did not have anything but MB Nashville did have what I wanted- although it was sold by the time I went in soooo they ordered my new car- JAN like I said was great- BUT I had a crappy salesperson before her- I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS W THEM AGAIN- I did contact my sales person Jan to tell her the service issue and she said I should have a called her BUT I DO NOT FEEL LIKE I SOULD HAVE TO INVOLE MY SALES PERSON TO GET SOMETHING TAKEN CARE OF! it felt like home when I went back to MB MUIC CITY- NEVER GOT A GREAT FEELING AT MB NASHVILLE- I DO NOT EXPECT SPECIAL TREATMENT BUT SPENDING THIS KIND OF MONEY ON A CAR IT SHOULD BE REALLY NICE- AND EASY!!!!!

Very disappointing customer service.

I can’t tell you how disappointed we are with our recent experience with Mercedes-Benz of Nashville. So much so that I felt compelled to write this review in hopes that others can avoid the same treatment. My mother, who is almost 80, is battling cancer. Her most recent treatment left her immune system extremely low, and coupled with COVID, has kept her fairly restricted to her house for months. So when her routine maintenance came up on her vehicle she contacted the dealership to see if she could postpone it until she got the all clear from her doctors. Let me add that her vehicle is a 2020 with only 5,500 miles on it (largely because she has essentially been on lockdown for the last 18 months). The service team at the dealership was more than happy to reschedule the appointment for her. And after getting good news on her latest treatment/prognosis, she was able to get the maintenance completed in early September. But that's when things went south. When she went to pick-up her vehicle they told her they were going to have to charge her over $600 for her visit. Mind you this amount was previously going to be covered under the pre-paid maintenance package she purchased with her vehicle. When she asked why that was, they said she waited too long and that her pre-paid package no longer could be applied. She explained her whole situation again to her service rep, and also explained that no one ever mentioned anything to her about the plan expiring when she rescheduled. She then reached out to her original sales rep, and also the head of sales explaining the situation. All of them said there was nothing they could do, but suggested we reach out to Sonic Automotive group for the credit. We did that and heard directly from Sonic that her service credit should not have expired. Sonic instructed us to reach back out to MB of Nashville (and specifically the finance team) to get the credit issued. We subsequently left 3 messages with the finance team but never received a return phone call. We then reached back out to the service department to voice our frustrations. Still no returned calls. We went on the website and tried to reach the manager. Still no returned calls. And this is despite my mother having explained to them previously she had written documentation from her oncology team to support her cancer claim. It should not even come to that to be honest. Just treat people how you want to be treated! So very long story short, if the dealership is willing to screw my 79 year old cancer surviving mother out of $600, I would ask yourself how you think they may treat you? My suggestion is take your business elsewhere.

I love in Huntsville and had bad experiences with Mercedes Huntsville. I am not the only one because I fortunately know other people that had similar experience there. Someone recommended me to come to Nashville!!! Within 5 minutes of arriving I had a complete opposite experience than ones of Huntsville!!! Professional, great customer service etc etc . Jason in Service department was amazing and great to see the customer service he provided!!!! Would drive here again for this type of customer service!! Kudos

Sevice event

Very disappointed! We had a check engine light come on while visiting Nashville and good it to Mercedes of Nashville for servicing. After the diagnostic was completed they determined it was a thermostat replacement and quoted me $900 for the repair. I called my hometown Mercedes dealer to see what they would charge for the same repair and they quoted $450. Because I was from out of town I was CLEARLY taken advantage of by this Dealer. Once confronted by me on the pricing I escalated and got them to price match my dealer. This is not what I expect from MB. I've owned Benz's for 25 years and this awas a very bad way for them to treat a loyal customer.

First time serviceon used E 350 purchased out of state

First experience with Mercedes of Nashville. And it was a good one. They got me in and out with a loaner, even though I booked last minute. Price was fair and they earned my respect and trust. Fantastic Experience Service Leader: George

I had a fantastic experience with George, the service leader professional at the Franklin, Mercedes Benz original location who was in charge of my ML350 Bluetech last week. I accidentally made an appointment at the wrong dealership and arrived in George's office. Regardless of my mistake, George got me in that hour, was accommodating, very professional, and most importantly kind. He answered all of my questions and concerns in detail giving me full transparency in the work to be done. He treated me like family and went above and beyond to make sure my repair was covered under warranty. Which it was!!!! Another shop in town (non-Mercedes) quoted me a thousand dollars over what the dealership quoted to fix the Addblue heater and never thought to look to see if it was under warranty. That's why I will choose Mercedes over and over again. They treat you like family. Thank you for the great service!

A Faith Restoring Experience

I have not been a fan of M-B of Nashville but this time around I would have given them TEN stars if I could because after I informed them that I'd had a couple very substandard experiences during earlier service visits, their Service Manager (Troy) and his Asst. Service Manager (George Lund) made it their calling to provide my 2014 E-350 with impeccable automotive service and support and went out of their way to ensure I had the best customer service experience possible. George was tremendously flexible when a third party that was making an upholstery repair took longer than anticipated, allowing me to continue using a loaner car beyond the originally scheduled period. He even assisted me with making an insurance claim to replace my windshield with genuine M-B glass after I took a rock in a construction zone on I-65 the day before the service was scheduled. I had plenty of reasons NOT to use M-B of Nashville to service my car and, in fact, had actually returned to the Atlanta dealer where I bought the vehicle just to have a service performed with the professionalism and customer support I'd come to expect from a M-B dealership. But thanks to Troy and to a much greater extent, George, my faith in M-B of Nashville is restored and I will have no qualms taking my car there for service or purchasing my next car from them. Kudos and thank you, George, for all that you've done this past week.

Service has changed

the service i have received over the past 7 years has changed for the worst. the work done was fine but the customer attention was lacking. from the entry into the bay to the 3 hour past time promised to the lack of communication between employees at pickup. the employees were rushed and had no customer appreciation in their actions at any time i was only a number who is next.

I contacted MB of Nashville about a minor recall item on my E350. Being relatively new to the area I had not been to MB of Nashville before, however, I was treated very well and had my car serviced quickly. After looking at the newer models while I was waiting, I decided to buy one and was treated with the same courtesy by the sales department people.

Verify warranty coverage of your needed repairs!

If you need service at Mercedes-Benz of Nashville, please request a print out indicating that the necessary work is not covered under warranty. When I inquired about warranty coverage for my recent service needs, my service advisor immediately said it was not covered under warranty. He never even looked it up. I took his word for it and spent $1,500 on service at this location. A month later, I found out it was indeed covered under warranty (8yr/80K emissions). My trust in this location is seriously compromised. Only after repeated requests to their service department manager, I was finally given a full refund for all services outlined below. I don't want this happening to other Mercedes clients. Your service advisor must enter it in the Mercedes system to find out for sure if it is covered under warranty or not. Details: On May 2, 2016, I took my 2011 Sprinter to Mercedes-Benz of Nashville because of the illumination of both the "check engine" and "glow plug" indicator dash lights. The service advisor informed me that the problem was with two faulty glow plugs. He recommended replacing all six of the glow plugs, explaining that because of difficulty of access, and that the remaining plugs would likely end up failing, it would be less expensive to replace all of them together. I asked him if this service was covered under the Mercedes warranty and he replied, “No, they were only covered for three years or 36,000 miles.” He also stated that I would be responsible for additional labor charges should the plugs break during removal. I found this statement disappointing to say the least. Finally, he advised me that the power steering fluid reservoir needed replacing. Based on these purported facts, I reluctantly authorized the work and paid the invoice in the amount of $1,464.83 upon completion of the work. Then, on June 16, while having unrelated service on the same vehicle at Mercedes of Fort Wayne, Indiana, I was surprised to learn that glow plugs are indeed covered under the Mercedes 8 year/80,000 mile emissions warranty. Along with being very troubled by this revelation, I also began wondering about the legitimacy of the need for the power steering work. I immediately contacted Mercedes of Nashville’s service manager and informed him of my concerns. After too many additional calls, emails and energy on my part, I was ultimately refunded the entire invoice amount. At no point during this ordeal has Mercedes of Nashville acknowledged their error or made any apology. This has been an extraordinarily troubling experience.

Expert service

My S600 had an intermittent beep that I thought was caused by a faulty radar detector. The tech, Scott, located a cut-off knob under the dashboard that simply turned the radar off. The beep was gone and it only took him 5 minutes and they didn't charge me anything.
