Great sales and company staff!

Purchased a 2024 M3 and was in and out same day! Everyone from Mike who worked the deal to finance and the technology guy was great! Highly recommend this site they are great professionals and truly care about the customer.

My experience at BMW was extremely great and satisfying. Mr. Baker is definitely a great service manager and always shows great concern for his customers. He is very professional and lets me know everything about my vehicle.

Columbia SC BMW service is in no comparison to BMW schererville, Indiana. I have dealt with three different services advisors one that was really liked on my second visit, which was Matthew. They gave me a loaner car, which was good for an older car appreciate that, but I was told to pay out of pocket for an engine repair the reason because BMW’s criteria for rates or less than my extended warranty services, but in the past, it always matched up with nothing other pocket with labor That’s what I’m upset about. I had to pay for labor which my warranty services will probably correct but I had to pay out-of-pocket for the difference before I could pick up my vehicle sales person that needed. The loaner brought my car to my work as a courtesy to help me out , which was good his name was David. I started the engine and the engine light was on after engine work. I am not very happy right now. I plan on getting in touch with corporate office with the services that been provided and make the people accountable for their mistakes.

Excellent service

Charles Baker is a professional and an efficient service provider for BMW of Columbia. He is always helpful whenever my 328i SW needs any kind of service. He looks out for me and my car. I can always depend on him. Great guy.

Surprised by the service from start to finish. Expected a long completion time, it wasn’t. I didn’t have to wait. I had UBER drop off and pick up service. Great experience all around.

Routine service

Went in at 8:00am to drop my car off for routine service /oil change. I elected not to wait and have the shuttle service drop me off. I was asked what time I'd like for the car to be done by, I said around lunch. The person said that will not be a problem and I'll give you a call. Fast forward to 2:00pm when I called to get an update, I was told that it had been ready that they want to ask about a minor issue with my tire that I said could wait and that someone would be calling me to finalize this and have me shuttled back to get my car. Fast forward to 4:15pm when I called back my original person said the paperwork just showed up and my car was ready. I wouldn't normally post this but this is my third time having the exact same experience with the service department. When I brought this up to him, he didn't seem to care at all, no response or apologie just here is your car keys and it's being brought around. Guess it's three strikes and you're out.

Austin Martin

I've purchased a lifetime of vehicles but BMW has them all beat with Austin on their team. When test driving, Austin sat in the back seat navigating me through options and details of my now X3. It was an excellent experience. He knew EVERYTHING about BMWs, did not overkill, and is so exuberant with details I began to bond with the vehicle at once. Time for oil change, Austin was right there as my personal agent and I was swept away again by his knowledge and his "getting it done" attitude. My only issue was not with Austin, but Tarrance who drew up our contract as all car salesmen do, trying to add services we told him we didn't want, but managed to slide one in and we were furious. BMW NEEDS MORE AUSTINS, AND LESS SHYSTERS, THEY PROMOTE CONFUSING THEORIES OF BMW. THANKS AUSTIN!

Check Engine light

The three service technicians who helped me were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Austin Martin is my tech with whom I now work with for future service issues, but the other two technicians were very helpful. The work was completed and an explanation was provided for each item. I am very pleased with BMW of Columbia (SC).

Poor M3 service

I am completely dissatisfied with the service that I received from BMW of Columbia service department. They failed to communicate effectively, or at all, I was never offered a loaner although they had my car for over 45 days, I was not treated like a customer who just purchased an M3.

Not good customer service.

My service guy was Charles(chuck)Baker. I was not satisfied how he handled me… I got there at 8something. My appointment was 9:30. I didn’t get any feedback until after 12something…. My car is my transportation to get my children to their school and pick them up.. He was busy talking to other people around far as customers(women) to be exact and other workers. I’m there waiting. It was until I went to him to find out what was the case when he talked to me to inform me of my car status.. My car went there on a Wednesday. I left it there cuz I had to make other moves for my family. I didn’t hear nothing back until I called Friday to check. Then a bmw text line text me saying my car should be ready the following Tuesday…. Then when I got there Tuesday to pay, he referred to me as “Oh you the one with the little warranty”. My wife came in with me and she said something to him about his smart remark. He then lied and said no I said you can’t use your coupon with a warranty claim. Very inappropriate comment.

I have been coming to this dealership for maintenance going on 4 years and have always been treated with respect and professionalism. They have gone the extra mile each time I had major/expensive maintenance done to ensure I get the best deal. I may not have bought my current BMW at this dealership, but my next one will absolutely be from BMW of Columbia.

Oil change turned into a whole day service. In at 7:30 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m. Charged for a secondary service that was not part of the vehicle problem. Incorrect service charge.

Happy to be fixed

My service guy is always very respectful and responsive to my needs. He takes the time to explain what’s needed and assist in providing options for repair. He is trustworthy and therefore makes his customers feel a since of comfort in knowing that the issues wull ve resolved. My comment below about the price paid for service more so applies to the high cost of labor for repairs.
