I purchased a used Kia Sorento 2016 in 2019 they totally took advantage of me on the price, told me the warranty was the full original warranty, it wasn't it was 5yrs 50,000 miles had bad tire needed a new battery and brakes right after I bought it. They are totally sneaky and my fault for trusting them. Beware don't buy from them!!!

Unhappy Customer

I purchased a used Nissan which had a few problems that the Kia service department could not figure out. I was told by my salesman Jordon, that if I purchased the vehicle and had the problem looked at by my mechanic that I could bring it back and Kia would fix it. Needless to say the problems were actually a few different things regarding the ABS system , unsafe driving problems and problems with the tires. All of these problems should have been addressed by the Kia mechanics who worked on the vehicle and I had to put out of pocket almost $1,700.00 after purchasing this used vehicle in order to make it safe to drive. When I brought this to the attention the General Manager, Bob Benedetti, I was told by my sales person that he did not have time to talk to me and that I purchased the vehicle "As Is" . After insisting that he speak to me, he approached me in a rude manner, did not even introduce himself or extend his hand and basically told me he was too busy for me and that I could come back at a more convenient time for him to discuss the matter. I had every intention on coming back, then decided that this man was not someone that I choose to try and reason with. If this is how the Kia dealership treats it's customers, I will never do business or recommend their dealership to anyone. The qualified mechanic that I had look at the vehicle informed me that the problem with the vehicle was most likely caused by the Kia service member who was working on the vehicle and did not know how to service the ABS system on a Nissan vehicle and in fact broke two of the four ABS sensors. This vehicle also had tires on it that were snow tires and should not have been on this vehicle at all. This vehicle was being purchased as a Christmas gift to my wife and my biggest concern was that the vehicle was safe to drive. I am guessing the sale was more important that customer safety and care? Somehow Kia passed this for state inspection, when in fact it should of failed due to the problems which I had to pay for to make this vehicle safe. I feel Kia should reimburse me for most or a portion of the amount that I had to spent after one week of buying this vehicle. I will be contacting the KIA corporate representative and possible submitting my complaint to the "Better Business Bureau"! Thank you KIA for your customer care!!

Poor Customer Service

If you appreciate good customer service this is NOT the dealership for you. I purchased a new vehicle from Kia on the Boulevard Thanksgiving weekend they took forever to pay off my trade in and I still have not received my registration for transferring my tags. I live out of town, I have been calling the dealership talking to my sales person and the general manager getting no answers to what is going on with my registration & tags. It's like they sold me the car and now no one cares. As I said I live out of town I need my tags. I called the MVA they said they don't have any information of a trade in for me. They said I should call the dealer which I did several times leaving my name and number and the reason I was calling. I talked to the general manager he said he would look into the situation. I received a second temporarily tag in the mail which runs out January 18th. I have been calling and calling the dealer and the receptionist keeps telling me the manager is with a customer he won't answer the phone or call me back. I talk to a manager Friday the 8th told him my situation, he said I'm gonna talk to my tag person and find out whats going on he would give me a call back. I said I have been calling leaving my name and number and no one has called me back with a answer. He said you never talked to me. Guess what I didn't get a call back again! This is a huge issue for me because I live out of town and I need my tags. My temporary tags are about to expire for the second time. I just wish people would do their job completely. I should not have to be worrying about this issue. I hope this review will save you from being disappointed like I am. A car buying experience should not be like this. SAD

The Worst buying experience - would never buy another car from them.

After trading in my car on a new car - the dealer did not payoff the auto loan. I received collection call from my old lender for 6 weeks. I called the dealer and was lied to over and over about the date it was paid. Stopping payment on the check. When I spoke to someone else I was given a different story. I am not the only person with this story. My wife began having panic attacks and she had to visit the doctor.

I recently purchased a new car here and it was the most unprofessional place Ive ever been. I should have left and gone to a different dealer. It took 5 hours to get the car. They are very rude and unorganized. They low balled my trade and are now selling it for 7k more then I was given. Please go somewhere else. They are not good people. If me losing all that means I can help someone else then it is worth it. I dont know how they sleep at night.

Bait and switch

I got quotes online for a Sorento I was looking for from 6 stealerships. Kia on the Blvd had the exact color I was looking for as well as the lowest price so I decided to go with them. I already had offers on my trade (Soul) so I knew what I could get for it. They wouldn't honor the online quote THEY gave me, saying that was with military and recent graduate rebates. Really? Then why didn't you mention that!?! They also low balled me on the trade. They had some mother's day event going on and obnoxiously loud music playing. Never again, they can rot with the rest of Filthadelphia!

poor sales service from managers and salesmen

I contacted this dealer through Edmunds website. They responded promply the next morning.After that it was poor. I was told they would get me Carfax hours later they emailed something else. I was told to call schedule appointment to see vehicle I inquired about. I made arrangements with my daughter to take her and called them back to schedule time for that evening. As I'm driving there in poring rain they call me to inform me the vehicle was dismantled in shop for repairs. They could have told me this sooner but since I was almost there I continued. I saw vehicle and was able to test drive similiar one but told salesmen and his manager we were interested in the one we found through Edmunds. They told us they would call when it was ready. I was looking for a car right away to replace one that was totalled. I told them the urgence and I was paying cash. Still waiting to hear from them. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I have no interest in going back ever again to Kia on the Boulevard or their family of other dealerships if thats how the threat people.

Sorry

Was not told there was no spare (I would not have purchased if I had known), car delivered with less than full tank of fuel, windshield washer fluid empty. Dealership seemed not to care one way or the other. Acted like they were doing ME a favor selling me a car. I'll see what they say when I return next week.

Buying a car from this dealer is a joy, not a nightmare. they treated me fairly,with respect, and promptly. This is the second Kia I have bought here. If I ever need another this is where it will come from.
