Superior Experience

A good price was quoted via internet which they honored. They worked with us to understand and program the various electronics which came with the car. The closing was good. They proposed the usual extended warranties which I rejected based on overall value. Ford ought to provide a seven year bumper to bumper warranty even if it means increasing the price. Perhaps a discount to a three year lease arrangement would simplify and be more attractive.

Don't Buy Used Cars from Keyser Miller!!!

Keyser Miller Ford buys used cars from auctions, doesn't properly check them out, throws an inspection sticker on them when they're not safe, and sells them as if there are no problems. Bought a car that appeared to be perfect. After 9 months of service issues, it was realized that the entire frame was rotting away. Turns out the car was in some type of flood and the frame rust was painted over. After dealing with a rude used car manager, I was left with no choice but to trade it back to them for less than I originally paid. The dealer that found the rot issue said the car was unsafe to drive, but Keyser Miller put inspection stickers on it 9 months earlier. New cars may be ok, but their used car process is a sham. Buyers beware!

Keyser Miller Ford (Collegeville)

I bought a brand new Ford Focus from them in 2007. I got the tan inside and out. I found out soon after I bought the car that tan seats stain very easliy. Even water will stain them. I had a probelm last year with my car. After owning it 2 years there were no problems until this one. There was a noise comming from the passanger side back of the car. An annoying squeaking noise. I took it to the dealership ( I had a warranty). They kept my car a few hours. I went to get it, they said they didn't hear anything. Ok, I knew I wasn't imagining this noise. So after a few weeks I took it back again. Again I left my car with them. After a few hours I went to get my car. Again, I was told they did not find anything. I took Neil for a ride around the parking lot. He heard it but said the guys looked at my car and did not find anything wrong with it. I took my car to my mechanic and he looked at it and after 10 mins found the cause of the noise. I took my car back to Keyser MIller and told them what he had told me was wrong with my car. I asked to speak to the manager of the service department. I spoke to him explained the situation and asked him to go with me fro a drive in my car so he could hear there was something wrong. He did. I again left my car with them for the thrid time. It was fixed after another day of not having my car. Just this past March I was hearing a noise when I turned my wheel to the left. I took my car to Keyser MIller Ford in Collegeville. I left it with them for a few hours. They called me back saying they found nothing wrong with it. I picked it up it was still making the noise. A week later I took it back I took Neil for a drive around in the parkig lot I heard the noise 2 times he did not. Again after not having my car for 4 hours while they looked at it, I was called to pick it up. I did and it was still making the noise. Ford told me that it was the wheel stop. That ment I was turning the steering wheel to the left and it stopped moving. That was the sound they found! Well I again took my car to my mechanic. He turned the wheel to get out of the parking spot and heard the noise. He said something ( I forget what it was called) was rubbing against the spring. I wrote it down and went back to Keyser Miller. I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to him, took him for a drive in the parking lot. It was fixed. If you are not persistant I do not recommend buying a car from them. Because if something goes wrong woth it you will be left without your car for a few days.
