Couldn't get a drive out price on new Highlander via email, so I went to dealership to meet with sales person on a Saturday morning. In the midst of attempting to find out drive out price, sales mgr informed us that car had come under negotiations with another party and was no longer available. No attempt by sales person to find another one. They took my car down the street to their used car lot for trade estimate...brought it back 10 minutes later but sales person wouldn't give me the number. Said Sales Mgr was working on it. After a few delays I advised sales person I was tired and was leaving and he yelled across the room full of people "Matt he's walking." Twice. Matt came over and I asked him what my Highlander trade was worth...he said $11,000, which was $4500 under the Edmunds.com value for trade. I walked. Very difficult to buy a new car at this dealership. And others as well...they just won't give you a quote via email, they want you to come in and haggle. Nothing changed in 40 years.
