We have now bought 4 Odysseys from Voss and one Santa Fe. In all cases they were very easy to deal with. Their FIRST price was lower than the worked over price we got from other dealers. We were then able to negotiate below. We ended up about 1K below the "TMV" price each.

I had great service from several of the sales team members (*Mark, Steve and Keith). Good trade-in on my 2008 Honda and a deal that I was very happy with on my new CRV. Plus, being a woman, it is important not to feel intimidated by car salesmen!

A waste of time

I would not recommend Voss Honda to anyone looking for a reasonable buying experience. I buy a new car every two years so I have reasonable expectations, but the sales person was kind of pointless. He took my trade and disappeared for an hour. People whose cars went in for appraisal after mine came back a half hour earlier. Then he came back with an appraisal 3K less than 2 other dealerships had already offered me, but "there was nothing he could do." The he went to get me a price on the car I wanted. THAT came in way over what the regional norm was. And again, there was nothing the sales person could do. Take it or leave it. Since I'm not providing welfare for Voss Honda I left it. I came in looking for one specific car and it was going to be a cash deal but they kept me standing there for 3 hours! to tell me they would offer me less for my excellent condition (their rating ) very low mile trade than Black book or Kelly blue book and offer me an inflated best price on the car I wanted. NOT a well run dealership. NOT a competitive dealership. And if you're a serious car shopper that wants a reasonable deal completed in a reasonable amount of time, NOT the place to go. A complete waste of time.

Easy to work with sales and service

I have purchased two cars from them since 2004. Make a fair offer and buy the car. No high pressure sales or beating you up for an extra $100 profit. I negotiated the second purchase completely over the phone in less than 10 minutes and they had to get the car from another dealer. They also take care of 100% of my service. They always have coupons on the website and they ask for feedback about the service. The also have a really nice system for tire sales and install. You can buy tires from Tirerack and have them delivered directly to the dealership for install.

Best Honda Dealer in the Dayton Area

I was very pleased with my whole experience at Voss Honda. I was treated well throughout the whole process from initial test drive to the completion of the purchase, a process spread across a month. (My actual car shopping process took almost 6, but I spent 1 month in the final stage looking at a Civic and a Corolla). It was great to have a knowledgeable salesman, one who knew nearly everything about the car I was looking at, and I asked some tough questions after doing a lot of reading on Edmunds and other sites on the Internet before purchasing. It was also nice to not be pushed toward a higher/more expensive model. I asked to look at a 4 door Civic LX, but I was not pushed towards the EX, even though they did not have any 4 door LX's on the lot when I first went to look. Once I finally decided to buy, I was given the best price right up front, no hassle. White Allen Honda had promised to beat any price, but they had told me that they could only help me when I was "serious." Back at Voss, after pointing out that another dealership had promised to beat any price, I was shown their invoice from Honda showing exactly how much markup they were asking on the car. Considering it wasn't that much, that their price was the lowest I had gotten (and also had 3 years free oil changes), and with this kind of transparency, I was very comfortable purchasing a new car from Voss Honda. Although the color I wanted was not on the lot, a quick dealer trade got me the car I wanted. All in all I was very pleased with my experience at Voss Honda, and if I am in the market for a new Honda again someday, I will be back. I would definitely recommend them over all of the other Honda dealers in the Dayton Ohio area.
