Bait and Switch

by jerkenney on 06/23/2016

Beware of this dealership! They do a classic bait and switch on customers. I had contacted them Last Friday about a 2004 Chevrolet Impala(blue) that was on their website. The phone sales person said that it was still available. I called again the following Monday when I was going to be able to come and take a look at it. It was still on the website and it was actually cheaper than what it was listed at on Friday. I called and spoke to Rob and he told me that the car was still available and I let him know that I was already driving and leaving downtown on my way to the dealership. He advised me he would text me the info about the dealership and would see me soon. I got the message but never looked at it and once I got to the dealer I saw the message that the car was taken to auction(all the cars around that price actually), and that if I were to put $2500 down(more than the price of the car), that they could get me into something nicer, no phone call nothing. I go on the website today and the car is still listed on the website. The dealership just refused to sell a car that was not going to make them any money. Terrible customer service!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

made it easy

by puglab on 11/27/2013

We worked with Mike V. and negotiated online. This was really an easy car buying experience. No problems or hassles. No pressure. I will return if given the opportunity. Thanks all at Toyota of Bedford.

Find Another Dealer

by cindee1 on 07/23/2008

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They sell you a car and then forget about you. I had a problem with my salesperson returning my phone calls. The assistant manager infomed me that he would get back to me within the hour. I did receive a call from my salesperson instead. I bought my Toyota and it only had one key. Iwas informed that the service department could SELL me ONE key at their cost of $205.00. I chose to go to another service department. I got TWO keys for the price of $133.00. That is quite a difference. Once they get your business they do not care about any problems. I then took my Toyota on a long summer trip. My front and back floors had approximately 2-3 inches of water. It was my air-conditioner draining back in my car. I called the service department and explained the situation. I was told TWICE by two different people in the service department to bring my car in and they could unclog the drain. I drove 25 miles to the dealer. I was informed that even though I purchased the car 6months ago it was not under warranty. It would cost me $90.00 per hour for them to fix it. I took my car and left. I contacted another service department and was told that it would cost around $45.00. They even told me that if it just takes a few minutes they would not charge me... You cannot trusy ANY department with this dealer... I would definitely shop around for a GOOD an LOYAL dealership. The preice might be right but you will pay for the differnce later.
