OUTSTANDING!!!

My 3rd car from Joe Vizzi, and our 7th from Clinton Honda. Would NEVER consider going anywhere else. Joe Vizzi without a doubt makes the entire experience flawless. He is always there when I need, and the dealership follows the lead of his professionalism and care. Use for service as well, and I've never been let down. I'm Clinton Honda for life, and Joe makes it all seamless.

Don't let them waste your time!

I saw the car I wanted on their website on Monday April 2nd. They contacted me via email and told me the vehicle was available so I decided to go see it and take it for a test drive. When I arrived at dealer, they told me that the car was sold on Saturday March 31th. They really should take down their internet inventory as soon as the vehicle is sold.

Bought car over internet and in dark evening

Did a negotiation over the internet and phone and sealed the deal that evening. Drove 2 hours and car was ready. Walked around the car in a dark evening, never even drove the car. CRV was used with only 1200 miles but took them at their word. Very happy with getting me the missing owners manual in a timely manner. Charlie great to work with.

This is the third Honda I bought from this dealership. Bob Westervelt was my salesman for all three cars I bought. He is very friendly, easy to work with and does not pressure you into buying a car. He is very knowledgeable and thorough explaining all the features of the car. Judy in finance was very organized with all the paperwork and explained everything in detail. I would definitely buy a car from Clinton Honda again. keep up the good work!

It is a car dealership. they want your money. Now, Charles Bippart was my sales rep. Very nice man. Seems to be trustworthy. We got along very well. With much confusion to start our day, we worked well together to get to a price that we can both agree to. Would I recommend Charles and the dealership to a friend, Yes I would. As with any dealership, they want lots of money for extended warranties. But, if you are buying a Honda, you really don't need it. I bought the road hazard protection. If you are looking for a NEW or USED car, please give Clinton Honda a try and also Charles Bippart.

Straight talk

I got three price quotes from competing dealerships, and Clinton bested (by $1) the lowest, which theirs was not at first (~$1900 below MSRP). The salesman was knowledgeable, helpful and curteous. Honda financing was not competitive with my credit union, but the finance person found an even better APR (1.74%) using a different bank. I had a very minor issue with my Accord Hybrid that I brought to their attention after a couple of days of ownership, and they fixed it for me without any problems. I have zero complaints, and actually found the experience to be a good one.

Good price, no pressure

I got a quote before coming to the dealership. According to the Edmunds.com, the price was somewhat below the invoice, and well below average; I guess it was because I asked for 2012 model, and it was the end of the year. In any case, I liked the price, and I got it, no tricks or excuses. Salesperson, Bob, was very good, the process was fast and smooth, all questions were answered to our satisfaction, Bob explained all options, even set up the Bluetooth, and called insurance company for us. I gave 4 stars because financial department made 2 mistakes during the paperwork, so I had to really pay attention to what they were doing. Other than that, everything was just fine, and in about 3 hours we had the new car we wanted for the price we expected and agreed upon. Overall, I and my wife are happy with our experience at Clinton Honda.

Warning - Too High Price

I went to Clinton Honda to purchase a crosstour. The salesman quoted me the price on the sticker of the demo model and would only come down $171 from the sticker price. I went to a competitor and they sold me a NEW Crosstour for less than the price of the Demo model at Clinton Honda. Do your homework - research carefully and know what you want to pay for your vehicle or you will be taken to the cleaners. I will NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone.

Great experiences with them.

I just went there with my wife to lease another 2012 Odyssey EX-L yesterday. The reason I decided to drive more than 40 miles from my house because the price got from e-mail is great with purchase back of my current 2009 Odyssey EX-L that has low milages. My wife has the big question mark on the way there. One hour later after arrived the dealer, my wife decided to sign the contract by the time because the the great price for leasing the new Odyssey and money we will get from my current leasing Odyssey. The cash back was worth the driving. If you are considering the lease the new Honda again after your current lease will expire and has low milages, you should contact this dealer too. The

Purchased a Honda CRV EXL from this Dealer , the price quote on the car was 2.000 less than the other Honda car dealer the service was very professional I purchased the car on line ,since I knew what it looked like I had the car in my possession 2 days later , the transaction was very smooth and easy .loved the experience Thank you Honda and Edmunds .com

Disappointed

I should start out by saying my husband and I bought a 2004 element 5 years ago from this dealership- and had a good experience. That being said, we were very surprised at how our latest dealings with them went. Last weekend, my husband and I went to buy an accord coupe. He had already test driven it earlier in the week, and had a price in mind. They had told him they could go no lower than about $1,000 above that price- but we figured we could try. Anyway, we get to the lot and there is a sign on the car- "Executive demo sale" The price on the windshield sticker was the price my husband wanted to buy the car for, which was interesting because 2 nights before they said that was too low- but hey, they just saved us a bunch of negotiating! So we go inside to say okay- we want the car! The salesman goes to his manager- and comes back with a price $1,000 more than the sticker and says "that's the lowest we can go." Really??? Because the sticker on the car says something else... So the manager comes out with this whole story about how that sticker is a mistake and they will honor the price but the dealership is losing $400 on this and someone's going to get in trouble blah blah blah... So now we start to talk financing. The sale sticker on the car says $28,885 & 2.9% financing available. We actually have really good credit- so we figure hey, no problem getting that rate! The salesman says- "oh no way we can give you that rate with that price, the sign says $28,885 OR 2.9%" We made the salesman and manager walk outside to see that the sign said AND- and the manager actually covered the "and" with his hand when he tried to say it was "or". My husband brushed his hand away and he goes, "well that's a mistake- we can't do that!" After we found out that on top of this they don't honor cash for clunkers, we walked away. Now here is the thing, that same sticker is STILL ON THAT CAR. You would think if both the price and financing rate listed there were so erroneous, that they would have removed it by now. Also, if you are doing a cash for clunker trade- know that they will not honor this the way other dealerships will. They will make you pay full price, and then send you a rebate IF they get it from the government. We have spoken with 2 dealerships since, and they said they would take the rebate value right off of the price of the car, as long as you have all of your paperwork and it qualifies. They will NOT make you sign a waiver saying if the government doesn't send them the money you are responsible, as Clinton Honda claims they will. My concern here would be what incentive do they have to even try to get your rebate- especially since the second you mention you have a clunker they start moaning about all of the paperwork they have to do. I mean, what proof do they provide to you that they even filed for your rebate??? Not to mention that if your financing rate is based off of the price of the car, and that money is not being taken off, doesn't that put you possibly at a higher rate? I understand a dealership not wanting to deal with the clunkers headache- but this seemed shady to me. You either participate or you don't, not something in between. Anyway- we are also planning on buying an Odyssey in the next year- so that was another sale they missed out on. I know bad experiences at Honda dealerships are not uncommon, I just wish Honda Corporation would care a bit more about how customers are treated, and not just rely on the fact that they do make great cars so people will buy them regardless.

first class dealership

Stopped in at lunch and just wanted to test drive an Accord. Came back after work and after 3 minutes of minor league negotiations bought one. They were right at the price I had in my head. Sales staff was professional in every sense. No high pressure, no games, no after sale extras you need to buy. Bob W. and Todd were great. Bob explained every inch of the car and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable during the sale.An actually pleasent experience buying a car.

No Thank-You...Clinton Honda!

If you are someone who needs a little time like myself to decide on a large purchase like the vehicle you will be driving for the next several years don't bother going here. It does not matter if you leave a deposit they do not honor the original quoted price. It also does not matter that the documents that THEY write up and give you are not legitimate. Poor communication between departments. In my case they screwed up my loan, Finance flat out said that they made mistake and apologized for screwing up but wanted me to accept their shortcomings and pay approx. $50 more dollars a month. Then out of the blue somewhere thought that I was putting money down which was never discussed in the original quote! I was told all of this all on the afternoon I was supposed to be picking up the vehicle. After I got so upset, I was told that they would go back and see what they could do and I would be contacted back the next morning and never received a response and after this whole ordeal I asked for my deposit back and will take my business elsewhere. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR REFER THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW WHO IS BUYING A CAR.

THE BEST!!

I looked at all the vehicles that compete against Honda Civic and found all the other local dealers were all on the same torturous sales scam approach until I got to Clinton Honda. I went in on just a first visit to see what they had. The sales folks welcomed me upon arrival but when I told them I was just looking they said fine, let us know when we can help and they backed off. I came back to buy a vehicle and again I was met in a non-pressured way. I picked the car, added some options and went through the entire process in a painless way. Overall I felt they respected me and communicated fairly and made it stress free process.
