Buyer Beware: Deceptive and Shady
by 11/16/2023
onIn October, my sister-in-law purchased a new Hyundai Venue that the dealer had on the lot. She's not good with car deals so I worked out the numbers over the phone on her behalf with Mark Newell in sales. She intended to pay cash but Hyundai had a $400 rebate at the time that the dealer said we could not get unless we financed with them. We agreed that financing was fine and let Mark know that we intended to pay it off at the first billing; he assured us that there would be no prepayment penalties. But sometime between making the initial deal and my sister-in-law actually signing the papers alone (I'm out of state), they tacked on and financed $1,500 in "finance charges" with neither her understanding nor permission. My wife and I did not realize this until we called for the payoff and found it was significantly higher than expected. Buy your vehicle elsewhere; this dealership is crooked and predatory.

onWent there 03/24/2018, found a car I liked, was trying to get a price I liked. Hyundai Elantra Sport. Loved the car. Came back in to do business and get a bottom line amount. They had me sign a paper that I was told just to verify my information. Then came back with an amount. There was some haggling and I told them my price and the 2nd in charge said sign here and we can run a hard inquiry on your credit and see what the best price we can get for you. Well I didn't want to do that until they at least came close to the price I wanted. They wouldn't come down to my price so I never signed the paper and left and told them I would think about it. I get down the road and get "7" emails where they had done "7" hard inquiry's on my credit. Now I had repeatedly asked if they were going to do this and was told no. So turn around and go back and the Manager said well you signed the first piece of paper, I said yes to pull my information, not to run a credit check. He said well you signed it so we ran it. Basically oh well tuff poo poo. I have been in the process of looking for the right vehicle for a couple weeks and not had one dealership run my credit just to get me a price on a car. Don't do business here if you care about your credit score, because they don't. They wanted $19700 for a used Elantra that had over 10,000 miles and their website says they are asking $17900.

onI advise no one to do business at this place ever they are full of bs. I purchased a 2008 Toyota Camry from here and paid for it. In 2015 I had a recall on my car dealing with some oil test I have brought my car to this place faithfully and done everything they asked me to do with dealing with this recall and my car. Here it is 3 years later I have been calling and staying on top of this but for 3 years Wes and his staff in the sr Service department has been telling us Toyota had not got the part to fix my car. In 2015 they set up an appointment for my husband to bring my car in to get it fixed but after he took off and had to miss a day of work they informed us that they used my parts in someone elses car. I took my car in for service last Saturday and was give the same Bs excuses by Wes again about the recall. They have a list and my name is number 8 on the list and has been for 3 years. Really it dont take that long. So this Monday Feb 5 2018. My husband took my car there again asking about the recall and whats taking so long to fix my car again Wes and Toyota with the bs told him now that my car has over 170,000 miles My Recall was voided that was not our fault this started 3 years ago and they never mentioned anything to us about 170,000 miles Toyota will never get My business or anyones in my family , my husband family, or anyone that I know who is thinking about using it they will be herring from my Lawyer because a Recall is a Recall and should be honored
