best buying experience

Went in for a test drive and was also going to look at another brand also, Salesman Peter was very knowledgeable and their was no pressure at all while we looked and received a price for our trade in against the sticker price. Price we finally agreed upon was way lower then expected. The car had everything we wanted plus more, needless to say we never went to test ride the other brand.

Excellent customer service and Tucson

From the minute I entered the building, I was approached by Calvin and went for a test drive. I checked out 3 other dealerships and was given the best price from Rte 44 Hyundai for my trade, and for cost of new Tucson. No regrets.

Communication break-down

My experience with the recent car purchase/lease started in December 2018 when I was there for routine service. I was approached by a sales advisor that my lease was ending in six months and There were incentives to get my payments at or below my current payments. I received a phone call from Mike Mullen after the service to encourage me to come in and get a 2018 in place of my 2016 Sonata. I advised him that I would be able to come in after Christmas. I then received a call from Gerry Linsky (?) about coming in. He arranged a day and time for me to come in and talk about the incentives ending in December. Upon walking into the dealership, I was greeted and I told the salesman that I was here to see Gerry Linsky. A manager greeted me, but I forget if it was Mr. Linsky. He immediately stopped a salesman who was walking by to take care of me. The salesman made arrangements to have what he was doing handled by someone else. They both spoke with me for a minute, Linsky asking if there was anything else other than what I have now that I would like to add to the new vehicle. I said the only thing to add would be the heated seats, but it was not a deal breaker. After speaking with Brett for a while, it was determined that the only vehicles available did not have the heated, or for that matter, electric seats that I had. We went for a test drive and found that the vehicle was almost a copy of the 2016 with minor changes. I agreed that I could get by with the manual seats. We signed papers and when I was going through the vehicle with Brett, I noticed that the radio did not have a satellite radio option. Brett said that model does not come with it. They suggested using a cell phone with an app to go through the radio, but that was not an option for me. I was going to cancel the deal and take my car back, but the service manager found an option to turn my radio into satellite receiver. He was going to order that part and call when it came in. We also made arrangement to have service install a remote starter. The sales manager wrote the starter up on an order and said it would be in the system. About a week later, the service manager called and advised me that the original plan to get the radio part could not happen, but he found another option. I told him when I could come in and he said that he would order the part. On Monday, January 21, I came in to drop the car. They did find an order for the radio part, but they had no information on the remote starter. The service advisor said he would call Brett to find out about it. I received a call around 3pm to say that my vehicle was ready. I arrived at the cashier’s office and when I left, asked if the car was on the side at the garage door area, and she said it was (as usually is). After walking around the general area for a while (single digit temperature) I went back in and told the lady in service that my car was not on the side. She was busy, but without making eye contact from the computer, asked if I beeped the horn. I said no, but the lights should have come on unlocking the door and started when I pushed the remote. My wife called and said that she found it in the back of the building when she drove around. I left the service area and took my car home. I could not find how to access satellite on the radio on the way home and continued to search when I got home. I left a message with the service advisor, saying the instructions are not helping and very limited. I do not think this “fix” is an actual solution, but what do I know. No call back yet. Will continue tomorrow if I have time between work, school, and sleep. I have a feeling that It is not going to be easy. Right now I am wishing I kept my old car. As far as the sales experience goes, I was led to believe that the sales team looked at my vehicle and history to know what I had. They were certainly able to say I was going to save money (NOT). I was led to believe that I would meet with the person I spoke with, being Gerry or Mike. I made arrangements to come in at a certain time and day. If I had known that I was going to get pawned off on a random salesman walking by, I would not have made plans. This left a feeling of being a number in their sales column, which I know is the bottom line for them. Given the change in the service department that I see as a negative, I don’t know what ownership is thinking. I want to like this place, but the trend is going in the wrong direction. I remain hopeful for now.

This is the third vehicle I have purchased from the same salesman Peter Charlebois! He is awesome! Not pushy,very helpful and extremely conscientious. He is always available when you have any questions during the whole sales process. I highly recommend him and the dealership.

All Around Great experience

I decided to purchase a Hyundai Elantra. I had shopped around for the best price. The salesperson Richard Yelle was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he was honest and fair and I felt like I got a great deal. Definitely reccomend seeing Rich for your next car.

Amazing professional service

I had been looking for the perfect car to match my personality. I didn't know what I wanted exactly but I told the salesman Rich Yelle to help me find the right car and he did! I am loving my GMC Terrain. He was professional, patient and responsive to my needs and wants. The financing office worked with me too. It was easy and painless. I highly recommend if you need a car to ask for Rich Yelle at Rt. 44 Hyundai. P.S. He is cute eye candy Too!

Do these people want business …..I email questions, texts and phone calls. Responses are scarce and when they do respond to any questions it is along the lines of “it’s available, come in and see.” I’m not going to drive down to see without knowing

Great Customer Service

I just wanted to say how great my customer service experience was at Rte 44 Hyundai in Raynham, MA. The dealership was so much better than another dealership that I went to in Easton, MA. The atmosphere at Rte 44 was extremely professional yet not agressive.. The sales person in particular, Richard Yelle was what made the experience great, very easy to deal with and knowledgeable. I bought a used 2015 Chevy Malibu. The price is what caught my, and the condition was very good. I highly recommend checking out this dealership!

I called and sent emails about purchasing a new Elantra GT. No response. If they're not responsive pre-sale, you KNOW they won't be responsive once you've purchased the car. Going to another dealer!

Sold vehicle, didn't tell me until i showed up

I called John Ruscito of internet sales on Saturday an hour before they closed asking if they had a specific truck available. He said that yes they did have it and also asked me if that was the only truck i was interested in on the lot. I responded yes, i was only looking at that one specific truck and that i would email him in the morning when i was on my way. Sunday morning i emailed him at 930 am saying that i would be down to look at the truck to which he responded "Jeffrey.... Thank you for the email ....? Simply ask for me when you arrive. ? I will have a Sales Professional waiting to assisit you. See You Soon !" On arrival i met with a salesmen, he then introduced me to John and he said that i would love this truck and nice to meet me. After telling the salesmen which truck i wanted to see, he took my license and left for about 10 min before coming back to me and said that it had been sold yesterday. The reason that I'm angry is that John knew how far i was driving to look at the truck, and the reason i emailed in the morning was to ensure that the truck was still there and not once did he mention that the truck was sold. I think that either they sold it and lied to me just to get me in the door, or it was never there and they thought they could sell me something else. Either way, extremely poor communication and very unprofessional.

very slow and cheap

11 days for used car to be registered..unacceptable. Picked up car and gas light came on within a few miles...I called and their policy is used cars come with whatever is in the tank..really?? They want a pissed off customer over $30 worth of gas? How stupid can they be? [non-permissible content removed]..would not recommend and would never go back.

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY AND ANXIETY YOU'LL SPEND AT ROUTE 44 HYUNDAI

I had nothing but a horrible experience at Rt. 44 Hyundai. I went into the dealership in late fall, hoping to buy a car before Christmas. I found the one I wanted online, for a price worth looking into. First of all, my salesman, Tylor, was obviously inexperienced, and kept deferring to his "manager" for all of my questions regarding the history of the car, and any price negotiations. At the end of my first visit, I was unable to lower the price of the car, and naively accepted their final offer. For my own reasons, I couldn't take the car home that afternoon and planned to come back the following week, when my salesman assured me that it would be ready for me. The next Friday, when I returned, the car was not even close to being ready. It had not been taken off the lot, it had not been detailed, and it had not been inspected. I waited for over 3 hours (living 2 hours away, it didnt make sense to leave) at the end of which time, I was incredibly frustrated and suggested I get the car inspected myself, hoping to save some time. I took the car off the lot and the check engine light went on..... This was the start of over a month long battle of waiting for parts to arrive, learning that the wrong parts had been ordered, waiting for more new parts to arrive, and when the car was finally delivered to me, it FAILED the inspection that I was told I had to get done myself (some ridiculous excuse along the lines of losing my registration paperwork and not being able to get it done before the drive). I was infuriated, but wanted to deal with the dealership as little as possible, and was told that I would be reimbursed for the parts I had to replace. I bought the car on December 14th, finally had the car and got it inspected on January 10th, and was not reimbursed for the over 100$ of expenses that I had to shell out, until YESTERDAY, April 19th, 4 months after buying what I thought was my dream car. During those months, I called the dealership, I called my salesman, I talked to anyone I could, trying to get answers about my car, about the reimbursements. I was always deflected, told that someone would call me right back, and then was never spoken to unless I called again and again. I'm sure I was annoying, but it could have all been avoided with an ounce of their attention and a morsel of professionalism that apparently they all lack. To be fair, I do love my car, BUT it was NOT worth the money I spent, the arguments I had to get into, the immense amount of disrespect, neglect and the most unprofessional interactions I could ever imagine, that I endured at Route 44 Hyundai. I hope this helps someone from being taken advantage of, like I was.

Poor Sales and Customer Service

Not a fan of writing derogatory reviews..That said I need to be completely honest with the poor experience...Started with attractive website and found car I was interested in...Spoke to John the "internet sales rep" When we arrive to test drive the car...we were handed off to Gerry the salesperson who had no idea why we were there. We test drove the car and decided to purchase the vehicle. After completing the paperwork we noticed when we returned home that the purchase price was $1300 higher than internet price. We had to go back 2 days later to resign paperwork...Again we found error and was charged $399 ETCH charge...Assured that check would be issued to us to refund this error. Arrived to pick up the car...Different sales person said "here are your keys and there's your car" No congratulations...no customer service. Driving away notice the car was just about empty of gas...What ever happened to the FULL tank of gas as a tiny thank you for the purchase Once home, realized no REGISTRATION in the car and no Inspection sticker...Had to drive 30 miles back to get the registration and was given a voucher for sticker..with directions...On one positive note we do like the car and the manager agreed to paint a scratch...otherwise extremely uncaring establishment...We will not be returning for future vehicles nor any service

I thought my first car buying experience was TERRIBLE. I did not feel attended to. You would think that a place that sold many cars would have experience, but I don't think anyone has a clue what they are doing. They did not have a manual for my car, give me my 2nd set of keys, or give me my navigation SD card. It gets even better. They delivered my car without the registration. I had to take up one whole hour of my time to drive there to get everything straightened out. RUN!

DONT TRUST THEM

Tom Oliver, the Director of Fraud at Hyundai corporate, suggested that a lawsuit against Route 44 Hyundai is an OPTION that we should consider. He didn't seems to be at all concerned with unethical and likely fraudulent sales practices nor activities that were very shady that involved this dealership, F&I or Hyundai Finance. Be Very Careful. Management and ownership at this dealership seem to want to ignore the truth. SAD

Had a very good dealing with Hyundai Dave, he worked with my wife & I with the pricing and trade in. He told me that RT44 Hyundai will have a very good financing and he was right. We talked to the Finance Manager and he was very good also. We would refer our family and friend to RT44 Hyundai.

Terrific Service, Price and Value!

The new dealership is clean, the service area is modern and has a nice working area. In addition, this is the second Hyundai I have purchased from there and with the same sales rep - Hyundai Dave. He has been able to always find the car I am looking for, the price I am happy with, and always stays in touch. This dealership is highly recommended
