Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! We took my husbands aunt there to look for a reliable used vehicle. Prior to going we called and explained her situation to see if they could help, they told us yes and had a vehicle waiting for her to look at. We took her up, she fell in love with it, we came back the next day worked out a deal, signed papers, got the keys and left with the vehicle. A MONTH LATER they call her and say there was an issue with her financing and they need her to bring in more pay stubs. She drives up there in the vehicle to bring them the pay stubs they had asked for, only for them to ambush her and tell her they were taking the vehicle back, that her financing had fallen through. They dropped her off at another dealership with her belongings and drove off with the car leaving her stranded in tears. Luckily the other dealership actually had a heart and cared about their customers. They not only got her a loaner car for the night, but the next day got her into a very nice SUV at a better price than Hertrich Ford had given her. It was an extremely traumatic experience and completely unwarranted, just shows that they do not care for or respect their customers!

Bruce and Dave worked hard to get me the Truck I wanted in the payments I could afford. They were honest and upfront the entire time.

Buyer Beware

They sold me a 2006 Trailblazer last November, asked 10,500, bought for 7,500, I thought I got a great deal until I jacked it up 5 months later to do the first oil change, huge rust holes in the frame. I took back and they offered to trade it in on another vehicle, but they said they didn't have anther vehicle like this one, I saw online that they had a 2008 GMC Envoy at their Deleware location for $10,300. I asked if we could trade as this was less than the asking price of the first one, was told no. They offered to give me $7500 trade but would not come down on the price of this one at all. Manager told me "we sold you a piece of crap car". I feel I was takes advantage of. They knew there were problems with this car and that their State inspectors would not pass this and so they had the inspection done at 404 Garage in Denton. I contacted the MD State Police, they said since the inspection was over 30 days old they could do nothing about it. Car looked good from the outside, no rust in the body, ran good, I really liked it until I looked underneath and saw the huge rust holes in the frame. I think this was the previous owners "beach buggy". Places like this give car dealers and repair shops a bad name.

BEWARE THEY DON'T CARE!

The 2011 V6 Ford Escape I bought at Hertrich Ford of Easton had an issue only 6mths after I bought it and Hertrich told me it was covered under the warranty. I left my car there and went to work. Six hours later Hertrich called me to say the cost wasn't covered under the warranty. It was going to cost approximately $800 to fix it! Randy, the sales manager, who assured me he would take care of it in person, told me on the phone it was no longer his responsibility to fix my car and made me feel as if it were my fault for not buying the extended warranty. He even had the nerve to try to sell me a new car! Please please don't buy a car here, don't get suckered like I did. I trusted them because my family has bought 9 cars from them. But, they don't care about your business or building a relationship with their customers, they just want your money. Now, almost a year later, I'm looking for a new car because a few weeks ago I had an issue with the fuel pump shut off switch and broke down on my way to work. And just a week ago my Escape just shut off for no reason, as I was crossing over 301 west. O_o

Sorry I bought

The dealer made everything right the next day with a different Explorer. They brought it in from quite a way to do so. That changed my whole experience.

Very Satisified

I purchased my new fiesta from Hertrich after shopping around at a few other local ford dealerships. From the moment I was greeted by my salesman Stephen, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Stephen was very knowledgable and helpful. He didn't try any of the typical car salesman tactics. The whole staff was friendly and courteous. I have referred a few of my coworkers to the dealership and all of them had similar expriences. Their service department is also top notch and their prices seemed fair. I had an oil change and tire rotation for only 39 dollars. I would definitly recommend them to anyone.

Great place to do business

My wife and I have bought several new and used cars over the last several years. While I never like the idea of going car shopping, I would rather go to the dentist<This place made it much less painful. The dealership was small but they had a good selection of cars to choose. Our saleperson\Jan, was very helpful. We had a few past issues with our credit, and had been to a few dealerships who weren't willing to work with us. In fact, neither even bothered to call us with the outcome. Its uncomfortable to share your personal information, but Jan was very understanding and willing to help. I told them what kind of car we needed and what kind of budget we were working with. Jan showed us a few different vehicles before we>my wife really<fell in love with a 2007 Ford Edge. Jan worked with the managers and we came to an agreement to purchase the vehicle. Everyone here, unlike the first 2 places we tried, made us feel welcome and appreciated. We are very happy with our new vehicle and feel like we got a fair deal. More importantly, we felt like we gave our business to people who cared about more than just taking our hard earned money.
