Nissan of Bowie on Crain highway in MD is the WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IN MD. The cars they sells are Lemons. I purchased a brand new 2020 Nissan Sentra. Drove it for only 3 days and the car stops working. Car was TOWED to dealership because it would not start. Service department worked on the car. Ask service department what was the problem and why the brand new car would not start? Service Department REFUSED to tell me why the brand new 2020 Nissan Sentra car would not start. After the car was TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP!

This dealer pulls all the classic no-go moves. If you are looking for a certified pre-owned vehicle do not go here. We spent four hours at the dealership and staff refused to share our final financing terms and APR until the last 10 minutes of our negotiation. The initial price of $12k quickly became $15k with a random assortment of fees that we had to negotiate down. They promised us extra protections as part of the certified vehicle and then claimed that the vehicle was no longer certified and had no protection. Then they tried to persuade us it was a clerical error and of course we had a certified vehicle and wouldn’t you know our original quote APR of under 1% from salesman A was now 5.5% from salesman B. The finance staff consistently treated us as if we hadn’t done our research on the vehicle, telling us that our concerns were invalid and hurrying us to sign papers before we finished reading them. We left and want everyone else to know - watch out for the predatory sales practices at this Nissan. They will lie to you about the price over and over just to turn a profit and they are not afraid of trying the bait and switch. The dealer director then chased us down and continued to knock on our car windows asking us why we were upset after we asked repeatedly to be left alone and tried to leave the parking lot.

My husband and I visited this dealership many times in hopes of having a better experience where we were not being lied to a shoved toward a car we did not want. We only continued to try to work with them because they were our Costco Dealer and Costco offered us a very good price. On our last and final visit we went to purchase the car we had researched and we requested that they run my credit alone. Knowing that I had no credit, but that I was going to pre-pay the entire lease they said that they felt confident I would not have to add my husband to the car. I let them know that if I was not approved... no problem... my husband would come back and add his name. He has excellent credit. 4 days pass and no call. I call up there once again to check on the approval. Some man I never spoke to told me that the salesman I was working with had gone on a scheduled vacation. When I asked about the approval he says "the answer is no". I asked him to clarify if he was referring to not having a reply or if I had been denied. He replies "the final answer is no". I was so embarrassed and upset. These are not professional people. As of this day, a month later, nobody has called me to ask if my husband would like to come in and add his name. They received 2 stars based solely on the fact that they are a Costco Dealer.

Nissan of Bowie is truly one of the best car dealerships I've been too. Once I walked in Jamal greeted me at the door and made me feel very welcomed. He was very knowledgeable of the inventory and helped explain the features of many car. He has a lot of patience, answered all my million questions in a Professional manner. When you purchase a vehicle it automatically comes with a lifetime free oil change and car wash, not so many dealership can offer that. I will definitely go back to nissan of bowie for my future car purchases.

I came into the dealership wanting to trade in my 2011 Chevy Cruze. The service I received from the gentleman at the dealership was excellent. It was as if I was the only person in the building. I could not have had a better experience buying my first car. A 2017 Nissan Sentra. They worked with me and were able to have me drive off the lot with what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Nissan. They definitely exceeded my expectations. Great job!

I worked with Chris in sales. I called before I came in to buy and car and he was so pleasant and provided all the information I asked upfront. He assured me the car buying process would be easy and it was. Three years earlier I vowed never again to purchase a car from Nissan of Bowie based on my last car purchase experience. Nonetheless after talking with Chris on the phone and explaining my situation I decided to give you guys another try. I bought a NEW 2017 Nissan Altima in less than 2.5 hours. He walked me through what was in the car manuals. That has never happened in all the years I bought and owned cars. I even got a walk through of the dealership even though I had already been coming for service. It meant so much to me he listened. He was so nice and fun to be around and answered my questions. As a single woman I am nervous buying a car thinking dealers "get over" on women like us. As far as I can tell I got a good deal and more importantly my perception of this dealership is so much better.

Do not use this dealership. The dealership knew we were on the way and when we arrived they came up with some [non-permissible content removed] story that the vehicle just left. They sold the vehicle to someone that works there. They don't care about their customers to let us drive all the way there for nothing. We will never use that dealership ever. The manager/owner wouldn't even come out to speak with us. This dealership is the worst dealership I have ever seen or dealt with. Please don't waste your time going there. The sales guy (Wardell) that we dealt with was horrible and if you choose to go there, would advise you to use someone else.

I wish I could give this dealership less than one star. Hands down one of the worst customer experiences of my life. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. I cannot believe all the frustrations I've had to deal with and how little respect the staff have for their customers. I will NEVER even consider buying a Nissan in my life because this has been so awful. I've even taken time to write a letter to the Nissan corporate office.
