Buyer beware

by vrglass on 07/22/2021

Buyers beware! We recently purchased our 2020 Infiniti QX60 from Nalley Infiniti in Atlanta Georgia and had a horrid experience. 1. We caught the salesman Fred several times in outright lies because he contradicted himself during different calls and I take copious notes. 2. Jay Vaughn, the finance guy would not answer our question about if there would be any benefits to financing the car vs paying for it with cash. Instead he ran a hard pull on our credit twice within 30 minutes when we told him our credit score was just under 800. I have discussed this with other Infiniti dealerships and they said there was no reason to do this twice. 3. The unethical and disrespectful treatment we endured in trying to purchase this car was so bad we stopped the purchase. Cory Russell, the Sales Manager got involved and offered to ship the car to us (1000 miles) for free to save the sale. It worked and he saved the sale. 4. Knowing we would be out of town for a week, they had it delivered while we were gone. If we had been here and see the condition of the car when it arrived, we would have not accepted it and shipped it back. 5. This "Certified" 2020 Infiniti QX60 was not cleaned inside or out as it stated and was checked off on the Certified paperwork. The second row floor mats were missing. Even though on the "Certified" paperwork it said it was cleaned and the mats were included. I will include pictures. Inside there was sticky syrup all over the drivers compartment, coffee spilled all over the center consul and down the passenger side seat and carpet. The passenger seat had a red substance ground into the leather and the rear cup holders and and seats were also covered in a thick sticky syrup. The carpets were dirty. Not just unvaccumed but dirty! It was like someone had a drunken party in the car. 5. Cory Russell, Sales Manager has stated he will pay for the detail. He also said he would replace the missing floor mat but that promise has also not been fulfilled. 6. The former owners personal information was left in the glove box. If I was them, I would be furious. I had their names, address, insurance and registration information! I shredded it for their protection. 7. Jay, the finance man sent our paperwork but failed to send a temporary tag so we could actually drive the car we purchased. Then took two extra business days prior to sending it via FedEx. We couldn't even drive our new car! 8. Two weeks after delivery and the dealership is just sending our paperwork off for title and registration. We probably won't get our title and tags before the temporary tags expire. Overall this has been a very bad experience. We considered sending the car back to Atlanta because of the continuing horrible service. When everything goes wrong on a purchase, a responsible dealer makes sure everything else goes right. All we are getting is excuses. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase from Nalley Infiniti of Atlanta.

Avoid!!!!

by Martina Cobb on 04/17/2021

I purchased a used 2015 QX60 on December 19, 2020 with around 90k miles. I felt really good leaving the dealership and praised them in my initial review… I should’ve known it was too good to be true. I did not purchase a warranty because I knew that I would be replacing parts due to age and wear. I also travel weekly from middle Ga throughout all areas of Atlanta so buying an extra low mile warranty would be a waste of money. I chose Nalley based on good reviews and the fact that Infiniti has very reliable engines. There were issues before I pulled out the lot, one of the front lights did not work. In the process of fixing the light, they did not reseat the bumper correctly which caused the sonar to not work. When my car broke down 3 times within three months I did not worry much because I expected to need a new battery, a new starter, even a new alternator. On March 10, 2021, the car broke down again with no warning lights and no overheating. The car that Nalley sold me had coolant leaking into the engine. What happened to the thorough Nalley Infiniti inspection? On March 13, 2021, I called James Pittman, my salesman and he stated that he would see what he could do and return my call. I left him several messages over two weeks and he NEVER returned my call. Avoid him he is the worst salesman. If you cannot or do not want to do anything, at least say so! Eventually I was able to get in contact with the GM Chris. These are the options that they offered me: 1. $16k for an OEM Engine with a 12,000 mile warranty. 2. Or $6k for a used engine with $75k miles and a 12,000 mile warranty. 3. And $5k for a transmission that was damaged due to driving with the bad engine that Nalley Infiniti sold me. 4. Or a trade in (Nissan Pathfinder) after they devalued my QX60 based on the bad engine and transmission that THEY sold me. Service manager Carlos said that he would speak with sales to see what they could do about not devaluing my car for a trade in. I waited two weeks for a call. When I called Carlos back he seemed shocked that the salespeople had not contacted me. This was April 6, 2021. I guess they thought that if they ignored me then I would just go away. Since GM Chris told me that there was no one else I can speak to concerning this issue, I will tell everyone that I see about the horrible customer service that I received from Nalley Infiniti. I will also have a bright LEMON bumper sticker placed on the back of my car so it will be seen when I make my weekly travels. Save your time and money, and avoid Nalley Infiniti!

Avoid this dealer like the Plague

by SeverelyDisappointed on 01/11/2020

We were so mistreated, misled and spammed by this dealer that it's just time to present a review. We originally purchased a Nalley Infiniti Q60 from the dealership. During a road trip in December of 2018, something struck the undercarriage and subsequently we learned from the Nalley dealership that it had damaged the fuel tank. While at the dealer discussing the repair estimate, we gave consideration to whether a newer model might be an option and spoke with a salesman regarding a 2018 QX30. Normally, a return customer associated with a particular dealership would expect at least some degree of consideration for loyalty to a second purchase. Well here's how our loyalty was recognized. The used car manager offered us nearly rock-bottom trade-in value that needed to include the $500 cash insurance deductible regarding our original car that had been damaged or he stated that there would be "no deal." Additionally, although I had an excellent FICO, I was originally offered a whopping 6.9% interest rate, up from the 2.44% we had on the Q60, their finance department claiming it was due to negative equity on the Q60, when in fact it was in my opinion that the boosted interest rate was absolutely nothing more than dealer points, meaning that they added interest points as a means of further increasing the profit on their sale. When I went into the finance office to sign the paperwork, it reflected the addition of a "Resistol" protective package valued at $1,058. When I told the Nalley representative that I wasn't interested in the add-on package, she stated that "it was already on the QX30 car." So if it was already on the car at the stated offered sale price, then it was already built into the price being offered. Yet she stated that it was an "add-on." The truth here, in my opinion, was that I was hit with an additional price increase by the dealer claiming it was too late to reject because it was already applied to the vehicle, but mysteriously not already in the sales price and if the truth be known, we've suspected all along that the vehicle either had the Resistol package applied when it was originally purchased by the former owner and I merely paid for it again, or that the Resistol package was never applied and I paid for it regardless. We've observed absolutely no difference in how the exterior paint reacts to road tar or other environmental conditions that are just as difficult to remove, nor a stain to the interior fabric that is likewise resistant to removal. All of this was taking place while the dealer was continuing to make arrangements to pick up the car from a dealer where they had supposedly just traded it to and it miraculously showed up after our financial paperwork was just signed and completed. While it is true that any person purchasing a car has the right of refusal, we felt that the dealer saw a predicament and rewarded it with hiking the price of the newer car to whatever extent possible from every direction. It was finally 9pm at night with no way to obtain a rental, further making conditions more ripe for the dealer than ourselves. So now we have a 2018 QX30 that is apparently in need of care and servicing to an extent more than required of a newborn, with exchange of brake fluid already and almost weekly emails to remind us of countless maintenance considerations and special deals on repair work for a car only a year old. So here's what we offer Nalley Infinity in return for all their consideration in providing us with such a spectacular car "deal" for a return customer facing a predicament with their former Nalley vehicle, scalping dealer interest points for themselves, providing rock-bottom trade-in plus the demand for our insurance deductible as well, charging us for a protective coating that was on the car but not in the advertised price and finally bombarding us with emails for a multitude of service on a 2018 vehicle. If you want to be treated fairly and honestly, go anywhere but Nalley Infiniti. Despite dealer response, nothing resolved.

Worst. Customer. Experience. Ever!

by Cambranch on 07/02/2016

Worst. Customer. Experience. Ever. I was in the market for a QX60. I found the one I wanted at Nalley Decatur. After two days of haggling (the Internet price is not the final price) we agreed on a reduced price and reduced financing option. I went to my bank to make sure the terms were good. Something was odd. My bank's rate was lower than Nalley but my bank's payment was higher. I called and asked to see the paperwork from our verbal agreement. Surprise, surprise they had added 3 months to the term. I called Ken the sales manager. Initially he tried to blame me for not asking specifically about the terms. When that tactic did not work he got off the phone and called back a few minutes later with numbers at our original agreement. We agreed that I would pick the car up today in a few hours. Two hours later they called announcing that it had been sold to someone else. I will never do business with them again. If you choose to please pay special attention to the financing terms watch for the bait and switch. Very stressful experience. Run!!

Great Sales Service

by inallhigh on 12/16/2015

Good Morning! I had a great experience shopping for my new vehicle at Nalley Infiniti. Devalle Robinson was the salesperson. He provided exceptional service and made a point of recognizing the specific needs of my vehicle purchase. This is my first Infiniti vehicle and I am highly impressed. I don't have many miles as of yet, but I know that my family will enjoy this vehicle for many years to come. I strongly recommend this dealership to the Atlanta Metropolitan and beyond.

Disappointed Car Buyer

by sam288 on 03/04/2015

We just bought a new brand qx80 last Saturday afternoon, and we were happy because we thought we got it for a great deal. However, it turned out they sold us a vehicle, without informing us at the time of purchase, which was previously offered to us at a lower price,$3,000 less "in a written quote" via email because it was used as a auto-show car in the past, and we declined it for that reason. There are two things that the dealer did wrong to us: 1. selling it at a higher price then it was previously offered in a "written quote" which stated the exact dollar amount, VIN number, and the names of both sales manager and a general manager, and 2. forgetting to mention to us that we are buying a car which was in the auto-show which we previously didn't like. When we realized this three hours after the time of purchase and called the dealer about this, they told us sorry for the mistake but what we got is a great price, and there is nothing more they can do. We even tried to talk to the general manager, "Stephan Gronberg"in person twice but seems he is trying to avoid from talking We mentioned to the dealer that we are reasonable people and are willing take this vehicle as long as we are buying it at a price which was previously offered to us in a written quote, but they would not listen. I'm very disappointed with the way they are handing the business.

Nalley knowingly sold me damaged auto

by RegReg on 09/16/2014

I purchased Infiniti FX35 Feb 23 with understanding that other than the fact car had been in accident there were no known problems with my car. I noticed a car dashboard blister within the a few weeks. I found out that there was extended warranty on the car which expired on Feb 14. It is clear that they were aware of the problem with the dash and the warranty because on this website there are others who mention this problem. They should have notified me or replaced the dash before selling the car. I want my dashboard replaced.

The Old Bait and Switch Routine

by jim578 on 08/17/2013

Beware the "Bait and Switch" with this dealer. I was given a written OTD (Out The Door) quote that looked too good to be true, so asked another salesperson to confirm it. I got a another written confirmation of original quote from the second salesperson. Both wanted me to come right in and see the car. I got a certified check for the amount of the quote, and emailed that I was coming in to pick up the car the same day. That's when I was told that the OTD price the gave me did not include the sales tax, delivery, dealer fees, etc. I realize Infinity is not on a par with Lexus and and Acura, and operate pretty much the same as Nissan dealerships, but I expected better.

Worst experience I have ever had

by motomo on 03/24/2013

After being talked into looking at a JX35 instead of a Pathfinder, I went to Nalley Infiniti at 9 am. The Infiniti salesman was the one who talked me into looking at the JX. I finally left the dealer at 1:30 pm being no closer to a deal than when I got there. The salesman insulted me with a low ball trade-in price. All day, he kept disappearing telling us that he had to go talk to his manager but he just kept going somewhere else in the building. Why would it take almost 5 hours to get me a price on a vehicle? Total waste of time. He also did not know the options on the vehicle and had no idea how to deal with the navigation or Bluetooth technology. The salesman also kept the keys to my car after the appraisal so I had to wait to get them back before we could leave. Not a fun experience or productive use of my time. I expect much more from an Infiniti dealer. I expect to be treated professionally as is fitting for a luxury vehicle dealer. Their tactics are very low end. I have not had to deal with that type of a sales approach for so long I had forgotten what it was like. I won't go back to Nalley for any reason.

Average customer service

by kbales on 03/08/2011

I did purchase a vehicle from Nalley, they had the best deal and were not difficult to deal with. The only two downsides to the whole experience was making us wait a couple of hours after we told them we would buy the vehicle; as they left us to attend other customers. One would think that once you have an agreement to purchase that you would take care of the customer signing the check over to you, not leave them for hours waiting for assistance.

Huge Disappointment

by mrgsmith on 10/10/2010

Arrived at the dealership with a price they offered me from an internet website in hand ready to do the deal. Immediately the price jumped by almost five hundred dollars. When I asked them the why the difference all I got was blah, blah, blah. Made no sense. Then I asked them for what they would give me for my trade. I had already had it appraised at two other dealerships and Carmax. All three came back with the same value to the penny. I advised the sales manager of the price to simplify things. He came back and said the price had dropped eight hundred dollars from what I was quoted during the previous 48 hours. He must of noticed the expression on my face because he immediately said he would match the price. I thanked them for their time and ran out of there. Planned on going back the next morning to fight it out over the price, but thought I would check out another dealer first. I really hate haggling over a price, just give the best you can do and let me decide. Never had to go back.

Much better choices in Atlanta

by dbaker4 on 11/20/2009

These people could care less about being open and honest They will tell you whatever you want to hear. They will rip you off on your trade, undervaluing CarMax by thousands. Their answers change everytime you speak with them. Try [other], much better run dealerships.

Do Not Recommend

by jbaby79 on 03/24/2009

I do not recommend anyone to go this dealer to purchase a car. They have a limited selection of vehicles on the lot. Do not have them locate a vehicle from another dealer. You will not get a straight story about where your car came from and how it was transported. The saleswoman who helped us with the sale was only there for 1 month and had no clue about the features on the vehicles. She tried to sell use a brand new M35, we were looking to a CPO car. She just wanted us to buy any car. On the day of deliver of our EX35 she either quit or got fired. We did not receive a full overview of the vehicle and its features. When we didn't have the car we were looking for on the lot. The sales manager, who by the way had only been there a month himself, tracked down the one we wanted. He stated is was in South Georgia and had 75 miles. He said it would be flat bedded to the dealership. The day we went to pick it up, he called and said the car had 234 miles. That's not a lot miles but it would have been nice to know from the beginning. When I saw the car I asked if it was driven up here, he said yes. When I got home and looked at the window sticker it said the car was from Nalley dealer in Marietta, GA, which is only 15 miles away. He tried to say it was a computer error but his stories never matched up. I have left 3 messages with the General Manager and have never received a phone call back. I recently looked them up on the Georgia BBB, and found out they received an F rating. I have seen other negative reviews from the G35 forum I am member of. I will not return to this dealer for service or to purchase another vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Wouldn't deal with these people again!

by jordantrice on 08/28/2008

After being operated as Troncalli Infiniti and taking my 2000 I-30t for service there for 6 years, almost the minute that it became "Nalley Infiniti" negative changes started to occur. Higher prices on parts, more "problems" found when I talked to other people getting their cars serviced there and noticed fewer and fewer people going for service when I dropped my car off. The final straw was when I had to bring in my car a 2nd time in two weeks for the "check engine" light and had a $1,600 bill on top of one I had just paid for $2,000 two weeks before on a car only worth about $7,500. When I shopped the bill to other legitimate repair places, another Infiniti dealer and two Nissan dealers, I found that the price should have been half that. When I complained at the time I picked up my car, they said they would review it. After no calls or correspondence, I have taken it up with AMEX and am submitting documentation and quotes from other area dealers. For now, I will tell EVERYONE I know not to buy a car from ANY Nalley dealer or do service there. Jordan Rice, President, Immediate MedCare
