HORRIBLE

onAbsolutely by far the WORST dealership you will ever come across. It seems that I should have read reviews before I leased a vehicle from them. I mean look at the reviews. No one has a good experience there. EVER... So although I'm not the only one with a horror story I'm gonna tell it anyway since no one else will listen or help. (Horrible, uncaring customer service even higher up) In September 2015 my husband and I leased a "BRAND NEW" 2015 Hyundai Tucson. No miles on it and everything on paper says it is "BRAND NEW" So it must be "BRAND NEW" RIGHT??? WRONG The car never seemed to drive well right from the beginning. But what do I know about cars. Im just a stay at home mom who drives carpool every day. I'm thinking Hyundai is just a very cheap car. After all it's "BRAND NEW" so those noises and rattles must be normal RIGHT? WRONG Ok so fast forward a year and a half to the 1st of March when the rattling started. We took the car to Hyundai in Gainesville since it's closer and we are under warranty. After they looked at the car they came and spoke to my husband. At some point in the conversation they said "I'm not surprised with all the problems you're having considering the top half of the engine was replaced." They even showed it to him in the computer. So my husband makes the hour drive to Ocala. After driving an hour to try to resolve the issues we were having he had the absolute disgrace of meeting the "GENERAL MANAGER JASON DEVILBISS" at that time. He is the most unprofessional human being my husband has ever encountered. His entire mentality was that this was somehow our fault and that we were being "unreasonable" and "Ridiculous" Some more of his choice words to my husband were "What do you care the car is under warranty" and. "You'd be surprised how many of our cars have major engine repairs before we sell them" Are you kidding me? WHO SAYS THAT??? Well the "GENERAL MANAGER" at Jenkins Hyundai does. When it became clear to Jason that we no longer wanted to drive this car due to their non disclosure, He offered to lease us a "BRAND NEW" car for 48 more months and with another down payment. I don't think I have ever felt so insulted in my life to be honest. Nothing was resolved that day and we went home with a brand new off the lot loaner while they supposedly fixed the rattle. We had the loaner car for 3 weeks. During that time my husband contacted corporate Hyundai, the BBB, and corporate Don Jenkins which is strategically hidden inside of Jenkins Acura FYI. Had to do some research to figure that out. Reaching out to them was like plucking out hairs one by one. Ok so we drive the 2 hour round trip to get my car back 3 weeks later. Within 2 days realize that the rattle is back and worse than ever. The car also has no power and feels like it is dragging its bottom on the road. What a nightmare. So they tell us to bring the car back. Another 2 hour round trip, and another brand new off the lot loaner. Did I mention my husband is very busy. He works 12 hour days. We don't have time for this. This time they have my car for an entire month. We don't even get a phone call to let us know anything. After 2 weeks my husband called them to find out that they are replacing the entire engine.😳 We picked our car up last Saturday and I got to talk to quite a few of the employees there who feel the same way about Jason and about the Jenkins auto group in general. One employee told me " "That's why I drive a Toyota" and "I hope you learned from this" DID I EVER! I myself also had the disgrace of talking face to face with JASON DEVILBISS when we picked the car up. He is every bit as horrible as my husband described him. Just disgusting. He had a smug grin on his face when I told him what I thought of him and his only reply was "I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 25 years" I told him he should be proud of himself and that he belonged at a dealership like Hyundai selling [non-permissible content removed] cars. I can not get my mind around the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect that my family has had to endure throughout this ordeal. I hope that we are able to spare some of the readers here from a similar experience.

onRyan & Travis went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and purchased the car I wanted. After spending time at Jenkins Hyundai and being told my only options were a new car or lease which I could not afford. I called Ryan Baroni and between him & Travis they got me in a vehicle I could afford.

Had the Serento I Wanted

onOur salesman, Fernando, listened to our desires in a new car and showed us several models. He was very knowledegable about each model and pointed out the differences and advantages of each. We ended up driving several models before we decided. Took us 2 days to make up our minds The manager ran several scenarios for us on 2 cars. The personnel were very friendly. We drove our new car home the afternoon we made up our minds. The Sorento was detailed to perfection and we went home with a full tank of gas. We like our new car. We feel safe in it and it meets our needs. We plan to keep it for a long time.

onI came in and Tom Van was very professional. He showed me multiple cars and found one that fit my criteria. We were able to work on the final price to lower it to a price closer to what I was willing to pay. I do think the dealers fees are a lot with the added taxes.

onKyle Lambert was my sales representative at Jenkins Hyundai. He treated me with respect, a friendly smile and handshake and invited me into the dealership. We sat down and he began to find out my needs and wants for my car. It was important to him to know what I wanted so he could fill my needs not what was visible on the lot. Kyle took time to ask personal questions to get to know me and made me feel comfortable that he was not being a "salesman" but a concerned representative of my needs. Kyle was very knowledgeable about the cars and Jenkins dealership and shared that information with me so I would feel comfortable with not just selling me a car but knowing their service department would be ther for me when needed. I had been to two other dealerships and just the way he went about gathering information to deliver exactly what I wanted made me want to purchase my new Hyundai Senata Sport from Kyle. He delivered everything I ask for from color of exterior,interior leather and feathers. I would recommend this young, but very knowledgeable man to anyone I know looking to purchase a car. Kyle will give you the respect you deserve and, deliver the way a representative should that wants to earn your trust and business.

onWe were blown away by the sincerity of Carolyn Davis and Joe Shows at Jenkins Ocala Hyundai. They certainly are not at all what I expected from this transaction. I got a super deal with no strings attached we were treated with the utmost respect. I will be sending all my friends and family their way and I live almost two hours away. Do not hesitate to do all of your Hyundai purchases at Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala. PS I don't ever write reviews because no one ever impresses me so that should tell you something as well.

onTook 2015 Sonata in for an oil change and talked with Selena about the benefits of a trade-in at this time. She showed me a great offer on my old car and terrific rebates on buying a 2016 Sonata. Was able to get out of an "upside down" situation and into a great lease program that would benefit me in the long run. Found the color and options I wanted in the new car and bought it that day. Great service from everyone.

onI brought my 2014 Kia Optima to my new dealership in Ocala, because my old dealer did not correct the problem with the front bumper. Josh came out to greet me as I was looking at a Sedona, and the rest of your team help me to end my lease, and buy a new Sorento! Just moved here and I am so happy I checked into the service department...and had to wait!
