Don't buy here

by Panasoffkee on 04/07/2018

They sold me a car but would not show me the Carfax. I asked to see it but the salesman told me it was clean but only after the sale I was able to see it in the paperwork. It wasn't clean. The finance person financed it through a company other than the one we asked for and at twice the interest rate and lied about it. When I complained about this stuff they had us talk to their best lying sales people and tried to get even more money. I would not shop there again. They are very friendly while lying to you and they will cheat you. Best to stay away.

by biomark on 12/10/2015

Thanks Mark, Tarae, & Eddie at DeLuca Toyota for giving my wife and me a great experience and price buying our new car! My wife and I wasted several hours at another dealership before stopping in at DeLuca and the experience was night and day. Everyone we spoke with including Mr. Deluca was super nice, straightforward, and helpful. Thanks again team Deluca!

The sales staff and management were pleasant and very helpful answering all our questions and concerns. Raphael C made every effort to see that we were satisfied with the purchase of and new Prius which I believe was mutually rewarding experience. Amanda F did an excellent job facilitating our visit and attending to follow up questions.

We went in with a model and price in mind. They did not have the exact model but we went up a grade and purchased it for the price we had in mind.

Will work with you

by Lindag8r on 03/25/2014

I have stopped into DeLuca Toyota on several occasions over the years when car shopping. I have always found the salesman knowledgeable, professional, and polite. However, I had never purchased a vehicle with them. We stopped in again while searching for an older truck for our 17-year old son's first vehicle. Neil S. greeted us and searched the lot over looking for a particular vehicle. We found two other vehicles, including the vehicle we ultimately purchased. The next day, Neil had lined up another vehicle that was in our budget (well, almost) for us to try. We ended up purchasing a 2003 Ford F-150 XL 4 X 4 that they were about to send to auction. Brought it home, cleaned it all up, had our mechanic put it through its paces, and have found a diamond in the rough. The truck is perfect for our son and he is thrilled! As soon as the last couple of renovations are finished, he is going to take it by to the dealership to show it off and to say, "Thank You!" The dealership worked with us and really put forth the effort to help our son get the vehicle he really wanted. It was a pleasure to have the associates of DeLuca Toyota remember what it is like to get your first vehicle. Further, they genuinely wanted to help him and were excited for him. We have lived in Ocala for over 25 years and believe firmly in supporting our local businesses. We highly recommend DeLuca Toyota as it is a local business that obviously shares our philosophy of investing in our community. Please keep them in mind when you are looking for your next new or used vehicle....I know we will for sure.

Avalon Purchase

by freckles22 on 02/22/2014

I went to DeLuca Toyota to purchase an Avalon. l knew exactly what I wanted and the help of a salesman was superb. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and felt very important. Everything about the car and process was explained to me in detail, and every question I asked was answered.

look out for the closer

by bigpapi3 on 09/05/2013

experience was very good and almost bought there--problem was that the closer followed us out into the parking lot offering 1000 off on a take it now or forget it deal. not particularly my style of shopping for a big purchase. i would go to try them for my next car, but would forewarn them that all off if closer chases after me.

Our Best Car Buying Experience Yet!!!

by Samlil05 on 04/06/2013

My husband and I decided that it was time to upgrade from our 9 year old car to one that had lower mileage and more toys and safety features. We were told by many of our neighbors and friends that it would be well worth the 30 mile drive north to shop at Deluca Toyota. We started off with a visit to their website, which I must say was extremly helpful. Not only were we able to look at their abundant selection of all makes and models, we were able to review the CARFAX at no charge for each and every car they had. We recieved several emails within an hour; and then a sales man by the name of Neil S, (sorry cannot spell it). He gave us information on the cars we had narrowed down to our short list, he then took photos from his cell on a car that had not yet been posted to the website. He described it to the T and it was exactly the Car we wanted and more. We drove up to Ocala and met with Neil then the managers Randy and Joey. They were Great!! No games, No back and forth's, just all around warm, friendly and professional from start to finish. We purchased actually bought a 2004 Lexus and we were treated with the same attention and courtesy as those around us who were all buying a 2013 new car. Overall we had a smooth, stress free and most definitly the best car buying experience yet. Thank you to the Deluca staff for making us so happy. We will be back again.

Dont use this dealership (unless you like getting conned)

by visuallogic on 03/28/2013

I went in to look at a Toyota Tundra. Had a nice salesman, Mr P. (the ONLY thing good at the dealership). I looked at a 2012 Tundra for $31,000. I was told that my trade in, a 2001 Dodge Ram P/U, $5,000 cash down and under $450.00 a month for 60 months was not possible. They then told me to look for a new truck due to incentives, etc. I found a "Bare Bones" truck, a 2013 w/4wd. I was told that they still would not be able to work with that, $5000 down, a trade in and under 450 month for 60 months. YOU CAN KEEP IT!!! Ford, Chevy & Dodge were waiting in line to sell me a truck. Don't ask for a government bailout when your business goes under Deluca Toyota!

Best Deal Around

by marcmar18 on 02/03/2013

Most of the cars I looked at via internet were in the $27-29,000 range for a Prius. That is after Deluca agreed on my price, out the door at less than $20,000. I kept on comparing and nothing beats the agreed on price. My wife and I are happy with our deal with DeLuca Toyota.

I bought my Camry from my couch!

by Alexandra01 on 11/20/2012

I bought my new Camry from my couch with the help of Jerry B. He was direct but accomadating. I contacted him online and told him I wanted a Camry with leather and I needed $450 or less a month. After a few emails with great information including pictures of the specific vehicle!! I went into the dealership. I was really surprised when all I had to do was drive the vehicle and sign my papers. Dan the finance man was exceptional!! He advised what made sense for my drving habbits and warrenty and didn't push what I couldn't afford. Thank you so much for such a great experience!!

Soon I will be purchasing my 3rd vehicle from DeLuca Toyota. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Not only is the staff extremely helpful, but they certainly made me feel like family. Jackson has made both my car buying experiences very pleasant and has definately earned a customer for life.

dishonest dealer

by kahveci on 04/03/2011

Recommendation : STAY AWAY. I had the most horrible experience at this dealer. Before going there, I checked their prices online. Then I called a representative (Blake). Through email exchanges and phone call we agreed on a price. Once I physically arrived the dealership, another person emerged (Craig - apparently some manager or sales rep). He increase their price by $2000. When I refused to purchase the car at the new price, he started shouting at me. And I simply walked out. They have very rude staff there. Recommendation : STAY AWAY.

Women BEWARE, no respect, lied, switched price and rude.

by none20 on 08/08/2008

Long story short. Went to buy a Prius. Only a used one to look at and that was after I pressed to see it. Given one price. Made to put down a $1000 deposit. Told I would get Kelly Blue Book trade in price on my car. Left and had to go back next day to see the GMang to get a explaination of costs and print out of cost sheet which I should of been given when I put down the dep. I have to say he was very polite. Got called 6 wks later that one was on the way. Obtained my own financing. Went in to see salesman. I made copies of everything before I went. I added on window tinting. Suddenly the numbers changed to over $300 more for a $195 item, they added $25. more than the 6% tax should of been and they put down $585 less than the KBB trade in price my car is worth. I was told I would get the KBB trade in price for my car. Salesman told me how they "took a beating" last month on SUV's and truck trade ins. The original price sheet was balled up and thrown away in front of me. They pushed for me to use their financing and I had to tell them 5 times NO. They tried to sell me a paint coating (which is a total rip off for 699) and said I'd think about it over night. Salesman wanted me to pay for the car BEFORE I even saw it and the wrong color was on the cost sheet. He kept pressing this point to pay for it BEFORE I go it. I had to keep asking for my car keys after they looked at it. I went home and compared the orginal cost sheet and the new one and that is when I saw the differences. I called the next day and told the salesman my price which was the true and correct one which included the KBB trade in price for my car. I was not trying to low ball them, only get what they promised. He told me to forget it and come get my deposit. I was told if I didn't want the car they had other people waiting in line that would be happy to get this car. I went in the next day and as I walked from my car this salesman was out smoking, threw the cigarette butt on the ground, stomped it out after I told him I wanted my deposit back. A younger salesman started to walk towards us and my salesman said to him "You want her? You can have her". The younger salesman asked if I was a "hard sell". They were talking like I was not even there. This was my 1st experience buying a car by myself. I'm an intelligent 60 yr old professional woman with a masters degree and can truthfully say I would NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone. My credit is excellent and my money will be spent at a dealer that will not treat me like a second class citizen. I will go where I will be treated with respect. My present car was bought (with my husband) a few years ago from another dealer in Ocala and I have only good to say about them. Only problem the mpg's on their cars are can not compare to the Prius in gas milage. Pass up this dealer if you want honesty & respect.

Stay Away from this dealership....They are Evil!!!

by theroth on 09/25/2007

This delearship is extremely dishonest and deceitful!! Let me explain three specific instances. Last November, I was interested in buying a new Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner. I decided to travel to DeLuca Toyota to see what they had.....I wanted to see the different "packages" available. I was NOT going to buy there because of something that happened to me in 1995 when I was again new car shopping. But I'll get back to that! So I go to DeLuca to see about the packages and I'm met by a salesman whose name I can not recall. When he approached me, I told him,"Son, I'm not buying today...I have never bought a car on the spur of the moment; I'm just looking at the different options that come on the Tacoma. He started in with extreme high pressure:"if I don't sell a car today, I'll be let go"....baloney!! He showed me a 2006 Tacoma Pre-Runner and we took it for a drive. Nice ride! Even though I was not going to buy, I asked him the price....it was not listed on the truck...this seems to be a common practice at DeLuca. (see 1995) He told me the price was $26,000. It was used and had 1700 miles on it. Not 17000, but 1700. I asked the salesman what was the situation? Was it a demo? He said , "No, some guy comes here every year from the Villages, buys a new one and then trades with us every year". I asked him how much was this model brand new? He did not know. I asked him what they gave the older gentleman on this truck as a trade in. This too he did not know....so now I have no basis from which to deal. I was walking away when this clown held the door to the dealership open as I smoked a cigarette. I should have walked back to my truck right then and there but unfortunately for me I was lured in to their wicked den. The salesman did a credit check on me and saw I had a credit rating of 755. They still were going to finance the thing at close to 10%!!! I think it was 9.3%. I again told him I was not buying, when he walked away and brought back with him a 2nd salesman to gang up on me! This [violative content deleted] too put extreme pressure on me! I would have walked but they had the keys to my 1995 Ford Ranger. When I asked for them they said they wanted their maintanence people to check it out just in case I wanted to deal. Stupid me...I let them take the Ranger for a test drive. As I was continuing to get hassled by these [violative content deleted], I saw the Ranger come back to the lot from the street and go in to their back lot. I asked where was my Ranger going? They said they were going to inspect it. Remember this, 'cause I'll get back to this. The 2nd [violative content deleted] asked me, Mr. ______waht will it take for you to buy this car today? I told them to drop their price to $19000. Of course, they could not do this and when I found out that my finance charge was going to be 9.3%, I finally said, "Goodbye". They asked me for mu telephone # many times, each time I refused to give it. (This too is a direct cause from the 1995 nightmare!!) I finally escaped these brutal [violative content deleted] after 4 HOURS!!!!!!!!!! I was held hostage for 4 HOURS!!!!! When I finally left there FOREVER, I drove approximately 1/4 mile when I heard a funny sound coming from underneath my hood. Remember when they took the Ranger in the back to inspect it? I knew it was the alternator. Having no proof of anything, I did not go back to DeLuca. They would just deny everything. The next day, I took the Ranger to my mechanic at Batten Automotive with whom I have dealt with for the past 14 years. I trust them 100%.....I could write a thumbs up blog on them!!!! I told them I needed a new alternator. They checked it and agreed and changed it out. THEN, the mechanic, Richard, came out into the waiting area and showed me ANOTHER part of which I can not tell you the name, but I know it was directly behind the alternator. It too needed to be replaced....it had been SMASHED with what appeared to be a wrecking bar a/k/a CROW BAR!!!!!!! I was livi
