Smooth Transaction - Salesman Julian Gangemi

I recently purchased a car from Mazda of Milford through salesman Julian Gangemi. The transaction was very smooth with no haggling or gimmicks. He did not try to persuade me into buying more. Honest man and I appreciate the work he did to make car buying a great experience. Ed H.

Rude lowballers

I stopped by earlier in the day to see if they had a car that was listed online. I made an appointment to come back later and when I arrived I had to wait for the salesman. After about an hour they had appraised my trade and offered me $4-5,000 less than two other dealers had and when I mentioned it and that their offer wasn't fair the salesman was rude about it and tried to tell me that the other dealers were using tactics to offer me better deals. Another salesman also joked that another customer with a car similar to mine but two years older was "crazy to think he'd get what he was expecting for it" which was a completely reasonable price.

Julian was the reason I chose Mazda of Milford

While I was car searching I narrowed it down between two dealerships. I ulyinately decided to go with Mazda of Milford. Julian contacted me via email. The other dealers offer was slightly better but the excitement he had for the CX-5 was great. He has a personal experience with it because he drives it as well. H broke everything down and ultimately it wasn't the price of the car that sealed the deal, it was Julian.

Excellent Service

Good

Good service. Lack luster waiting room and the parking lot being so tight is a turn off. I am reversing and maneuvering around brand new cards and other drivers. Not great.

Just Incredible

I purchased my first new car ever from this dealership, a 2015 Mazda CX9. I was a very Skeptical since I had almost got burned the day before at Oldsaybrook Mazda. Julian was awesome he did everything he said he would fully loaded out the door and the same price Oldsaybrook wanted to charge only theirs didn't have any options on it "$4000.00 worth of Options" I found the entire staff from the salesman "Julian" to the business manager "Larry" to be very customer oriented,Larry is a dollar man plain and simple he deals with the lenders and makes it happen no questions no games very direct and no hidden BS. They are friendly and easy to work with. Everything was done over the Phone I simply walked in signed the papers called my insurance and drove out in one hour tops. Absolutely Painless I am so happy and satisfied. And Julian I can't talk highly enough Just no bs straight forward,Friendly,personal, just all around awesome with out the salesman gimmicks.

Great experience

My son was looking for a used car, we checked Mazda of Milford's website, called regarding a particular car, Acura and lucky for us it had just arrived. That same day we went up, were greeted by a sales associate Stan who was extremely helpful with everything. The Manager came over and we worked out an agreement, (they went all out to help us) we then put a down payment on the car and a couple days later we my son was/is a prowd owner of a 2004 Acura TL with low milage great condition. Also, I would like to mention that they serviced it completely and detailed it. It looks brand new. So happy with our experience. Thank you Mazda of Milford..

Pushy, And extremely disrespectful

Such a bad experience. The sales person was so pushy that we almost made the biggiest mistake of are lives. We scheduled to buy a certified car, paying $10,900.00 for the car. We were late coming in, apparently we had an appointment. When we did come in the sales person was extremely rude yelling at me because I was late - I appoligized telling him that because I wasn't financing I didn't think I had to be there at a certain time. He brought me upstairs to the financial person and this guy was also rude telling me that he has another person that now has to wait because of me. He said they pride themselves on customer service. I said what about me, i am here to buy this car outright and your here yelling at me. I said i am too upset and will have to come back. The sales person wouldn't let it go trying to convince it to buy ithis car now. Said no and walked out. The next morning I called to tell them I wasn't buying the car. I would not recommend this dealership to no one.

The Mazda Nightmare!!!

One of the biggest mistakes I made was walking into Mazda of Milford to buy a car!!! By far the worse sales department, customer service & service department ever!!! And The Mazda Corporate Office is a joke!!! They couldn't even get an oil change right without screwing it up. I got my car back and it looked like someone threw a milk shake all down the side of my car. They only had the car for 15 minutes and screwed it up! Then it took them four days to replace the passenger seat in my car. Not a new seat either, they took one out of a car on the lot. Knowing Mazda someone else probably got my old seat. Plus they scratched the hell out of the glove box, never put the plastic caps back in behind the seat & on top of it all they installed the seat wrong. I could have trained my dog to do it faster & better! Now I am dealing with my second defective convertible tops on my Mazda MX5 and it has less than 27,000 miles on it. The first top ripped on both sides, they were the ones that said the top was defective so after fighting tooth and nail they finally replaced it. But I had to pick up the top myself, they put this big box in the front seat of my convertible and I had to bring it to the upholstery place myself, because they said they had no way to get it to their upholstery dealer. Don’t you usually drop your car off at the dealer when something needs to be fixed and they take care of it? Not at Mazda of Milford. Now three years later and not even 15,000 miles and I need another new top, it ripped on both sides again in the same exact spot as the first top. But now Mazda doesn’t want to know anything. I went to two different upholster, one was even the one Mazda sent me to replace the first top, both said the top was defective. They were shocked that Mazda of Milford and/or The Mazda Corporate Office would not stand behind their convertible top and refused to replace it knowing it was defective. I mean really they make motor oil that last longer than the Mazda convertible tops. I could just see it now, okay change the oil, tops off the fluids & give me a new convertible top while you’re at it! Now I ordered a new top but not from Mazda and it comes with a six year warranty. And Mazda the people who make this car, well their top comes with only a one year warranty and more than double the price. Hmmm, I wonder why? These are just a few of the problems I have had with Mazda of Milford the list goes on & on. As for Mazda of Milford & The Mazda Corporate Office [non-permissible content removed], sorry but there is no nice way to put it! Unless you enjoy [non-permissible content removed], I suggest you don’t buy a car from Mazda of Milford or a Mazda at all! I'm really amazed at The Mazda Corporate Office that they allow this kind of incompetence, I expected more from the Mazda name! So I suggest buy American!!!
