Happy GLK owner

I have to say in our dealings with car dealerships (of witch I don't usually enjoy) our experience with Mercedes-Benz of Colorado Springs was by far the best I have had! From the moment we walked on the lot until we drove off in our GLK I was impressed! The sales associate was professional and personal, he gave us all the information we needed to make a educated decision on which car was best for our needs and wants. All of our questions and concerns were answered with great honesty which is quit refreshing in my book!! We were never pressured to buy or make a hasty decision! We will be going back for all of our car needs and wants, and would recommend Mercedes-Benz of Colorado Springs to anyone looking for a great car buying experience!

Incredible Experience

I was looking for a safe vehicle with decent gas milage for my wife. I stumbled upon a Mercedes-Benz SUV that I liked on-line (but a bit out of my price range to purchase) and Doug called me within minutes to give me a brief rundown of the MB engineering etc. I was impressed, so I decided to go down and test drive. Doug was done working for the day, and still spent an hour with us going over everything, not once trying to SELL us anything nor kicking us out. Needless to say, the SUV we fell in love with WAS out of our price range, but we left with Doug's personal cell phone number and an incredible amount of knowledge about MB safety and reliability. A week later after test driving many other types of vehicles, I stumbled upon a used MB SUV within my price range, so I called Doug's cell to ask him about the used MB on a completely different car lot. He happily spent 20 minutes with me on the phone (on his day off I might add), looking up the VIN, CarFax etc, and still didn't try to sell me a vehicle, only stated that he had some similar ones on the lot. After I test drove the vehicle on the other lot, they gave me a smokin' deal. However, I didn't have peace of mind to pull the trigger. I went IMMEDIATELY back up to see Doug. He found the exact vehicle n their inventory (down to the features and miles), but didn't have it on the lot to test drive and explained it would be available first thing in the morning. Then Doug simply took my offer from the other lot over to the CPO Manager Will, and came back with a stellar price, and threw in some extra services. Then Wil spent some time with me explaining the benefits over a CPO vehicle vs used. I was thoroughly impressed with their level of customer service and passion. The next morning I went to the dealership where Doug had the car waiting for me, and he explained that I just got an extra $1,000 out of the car that he refused to charge me because of the back-up-camera feature that was not listed on the features list. Wow again! Great service guys! Ps. And before I drove the SUV off the lot, they gave it the full service for the milage, washed it inside and out, made sure all the accessories were there, and added a full tank of gas. Pps. Jerry the finance manager means business and works quickly, which can be intimidating, but he was patient with my questions and made sure that the deal was exactly the way it was supposed to be

Exceeded Expectations

We were visiting friends in Colorado Springs and happened to be near M-B of CS. I had already done some research back in Tampa and just wanted to see if they had any other options on the M Class. We were greeted immediately and had a thorough and no pressure experience. My wife had a particular color and options in mind, which we couldn't find in Tampa. We were treated so well we bought the Lunar Blue model and they made it so easy for us. Our car was delivered yesterday and we went through the car with our virtual advisor, Reginald. It was an awesome experience. The whole process was seamless. Great people, great dealership, great car.

Drove up from Albuquerque to look at a used car. Was treated with the utmost respect. Two persons stand out: Greg Horton, sales, and Wil Harold, Sales Manager. No monkey business, straight talk and bent over backward to meet my schedule. Car was clean and ready to go. My best Mercedes dealer experience ever. I would highly recommend

Will never give business again!

I'm going to try to be as succinct as possible since so much time has passed since we purchased a Certified Pre Owned C300 from here at the end of business hours on August 9th, 2014. The reason being that I experienced a customer service issue that wasn't closed out until January 17th, 2015. To start, I'd like to identify the individuals that provided great customer service, such as Doug Dieterle, the salesman who found us the vehicle. It wasn't listed on the website or even showing on the lot. He had it brought back in since it was being used as a dealer vehicle at the time, and after looking it over it had all the features I wanted minus the lighting package. So thank you Doug for your service. Ms. Penny Stanton in the customer service department. After the customer service issue was brought to her attention, she placed great effort in attempting to get it resolved. Now for the issue. I am an active duty service member whose state of residence is Florida. During the finance portion of the transaction, I informed Mr. Jerry Garsez, the Finance Director that I had no intention of titling or registering the vehicle in Colorado. He adamantly informed me that I could not get financing through Mercedes Benz Financial with a Colorado home address and register the vehicle in Florida. I brought with me the Florida title packet, a copy of my orders bringing me to Colorado, and the Florida SALES TAX EXEMPTION form that I would submit to title and register the car in Florida. I ultimately completed the purchase for the car that included CO sales tax in order to not miss out on the vehicle as well as the financing special MB was offering at the time (first two payments made by MB and additional year, unlimited mile warranty). Keep in mind, I already had financing secured through USAA. Mr. Garsez continued to inform me that MB wouldn't finance me if I didn't have a Florida address. As much as I tried to inform him that I shouldn't be assessed sales tax, he could not give an explanation or would not even research if it was possible to sell the vehicle without assessing sales tax. In retrospect, it was a condescending experience and I should not have given MB Colorado Springs my business. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A DEALER TO SELL A VEHICLE WITHOUT SALES TAX! We just purchased a brand new Mini Countryman from Schomp Mini yesterday. I explained to them my situation (Military, FL resident, title/registering in FL). It was a new situation to the Finance Department at Schomp Mini, but they were attentive and open. They reviewed the FL paperwork and did not assess a CO sales tax! In summary, that one bad experience with Mr. JERRY GARSEZ was enough for me to NEVER bring anymore business to Mercedes Benz of Colorado Springs. His lack of respect to even hear out a customer is outrageous. During our transaction it was a very "his way or the highway" tone. Given that he was the only finance person there, I regretfully continued with the purchase. Ms. Penny Stanton and Wil Harold put an effort in recouping the taxes but today I received final word from Mr. Harold that they cannot refund the $1060 in taxes I should not have been assessed. I will now have to submit forms to the City to attempt to regain wrongly assessed taxes. I love the car and have come to love the brand. But I will NEVER bring any more business to the dealership that employs and pays someone with the character traits and lack of customer service that MR. JERRY GARSEZ has.
