Amazing Sales Experience

Amazing staff at a beautiful dealership! This is my 2nd car purchase here and will never go anywhere else. I live in San Francisco and drive 32 miles just because they make me feel appreciated! This is the best BMW dealership in the Bay Area! Ask for Dilip- he’s the best in sales!

My low beam and rear lights are not turned on at night

A week ago, I noticed the low beam lights and rear lights were not turned on at night. So, I delivered my BMW to BWM Fremont for repair. The service guy checked information panel and the car. He said everything was alright. The thing is your car is dirty. You just need to wash it, especially the front lights and rear lights. He didn't charge me a penny. Totally, it took less than 10 minutes.

Great service for brake fluid service request and tire setting reset by BMW service department ! However, I had to wait for 3 hrs instead of 2 hrs as estimated by service advisor. When a customer waiting in the lounge area, please consider ‘expediting’ the service when possible, Thank you.

Poor Service from Alvin

****Winnie Chen in sales is fantastic! The service advisor, however, is just terrible!***** I arrived to meet Winnie Chen for a CPO Inspection and lease buyout. The gentlemen in the service dept. who assisted me upon my arrival, named Alvin, had a sour attitude, and made for an unpleasant and rather dissatisfactory welcome. Upon him not seeing my appt. in the system he immediately said "Winnie doesn't know what she's talking about most the time." Then he proceeded to tell me to back my car out of the service area and park in customer service. Winnie had given me clear instructions for my arrival, which I followed exactly, only to be told by Alvin to move my car to customer service, which seemed like he was implying that I, too, must not know what I’m talking about. I moved my car¬¬––an inconvenience¬¬––went inside, immediately found Winnie only to be told to pull my car back inside the service lanes so that the inspection process could commence. Mind you, she was unaware of what had happened but was quick to apologize for the inconvenience. I’ll also note there were only 2 other vehicles in the service area and 3 of 4 lanes were completely empty so my car wasn’t in the way. What a terrible welcome I received from your service representative as a new customer to this dealership. Noting, he did not smile, say hello, make eye contact, completely disrespected his colleague within the first 1-2 minutes of me speaking with him...and I was the only customer there! There were 2 other people standing nearby that could have helped me because he seemed busy and became very flustered and overwhelmed when he couldn't find my appt. I've not had such poor service in my 25 years of dealing in higher end vehicles, nor as a BMW customer for the past 6 years. I usually visit the BMW Mountain View store located just 5 mins from my home, and have always had exceptional service there, and everywhere I've ever been for that matter. This is my first poor experience so I'm writing this review because it’s unacceptable and nothing is being done about it. I sent an email to notify management, however, at the time of this writing no one in management has addressed the issue nor done is anything being internally to correct how coworkers treat each other. I was told the matter was brushed off and dismissed. End of story. As an HR representative with decades of experience, I find it absolutely unacceptable that management has decided not to address this. Single ladies be forewarned of how you may be treated by the men at this dealership. I only made the longer trip to the Fremont location because Winnie was so wonderful. And yes, she absolutely did know what she was doing. Moreover, she was proactive, took the initiative to contact me about my lease end options, guided me through the process exceptionally well, and completed the sale! Working with her was the best car buying experience I've had in my 31 years of buying vehicles. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and her communication and responsiveness is fantastic. I highly recommend her to work with. However, I hope management decides to take this issue seriously and speak with sour attitude Alvin so that future customers have a better experience, and more importantly, that the women working there are protected. BMW of Fremont - good service

I went on the BMW of Fremont website to make an appointment for my 2005 X3. It was a regular service. Charles was my advisor, and he looked at my previous service record. He said that I had pre-paid my oil change, and that I didn't need to pay for that. I had them check the vehicle for any issues. I bring this vehicle for regular service at BMW of Fremont. The staff is friendly, and I enjoy that they take good care of my vehicle.

BMW-Service

Car got a Maintenance issue along the road somehow i can't get into speed reflecting the Maintenace signal flashing orange and its "Gear train problems-need to drive with caution. The engine is vibrating when i put gas on it the rpm goes higher but don't get enough speed. Alvin Lee the service advisor and somehow gave me feedback that it will take time to repair due to fuel valve vent issue and code# for detect what is really a problem-as usual a loaned car issued to me. It took me five days to get feedback and back to normal. The real problem is "misfire" and some spark plug not working "It's warrantied" i did not paid for it but they recommend for a wheel alignment and replacement of timing belt in the end it cost me $1,1000. I declined the other expensive replacement for improvement. Looks good now and looking for next service.

Very positive purchasing experience

I Bought my 2017 fusion energi from Fremont BMW last month and loved it from the start. Shortly after buying it however I discovered that the driver’s side seat air conditioning didn’t work. The lights in the dashboard lit up but the seat fan wouldn’t come on. An easy issue to miss. Upon calling the company that issued the warranty, I was met with excuse after excuse in why they couldn’t cover the repairs. I was frustrated and thought I was out of luck. Eventually I was able to get in contact with Max, one of the managers at Fremont BMW. Max went out of his way to go to bat for me here and was respectful, professional, and kind. After hearing my situation, it wasn’t long before Max contacted the warranty company and straightened things out. The level of customer service and professionalism that Max demonstrated is a rarity these days and something I am very grateful for. I’m so glad that I purchased my vehicle from a reputable dealer like Fremont BMW who hires good people like Max. Very happy with my car buying experience here.

First service extremely disappointed!!!

Took our 2023 BMW X3 in for a squeak. Mileage 6600 miles. Being our first new BMW purchase, we had anticipated a good first service at least; instead my wife waited over hours to diagnose a “squeak”. Maybe a little over cautious about a noise but not completely unreasonable. The service writer brought attention to the tires and recommended we replace them soon; they only have 6,500 miles on them and look perfect. I was shocked to hear this report from my wife (and see it in paper). This BMW Fremont 5720 Cushing Pkwy. Warning: consider another service location. Due to this experience alone, I am turned off by BMW. My next car may be a different brand; so unfortunate.

I recently purchased my vehicle here. My sales person, Ed Molina, first of all was great. Knowing I’m a single parent, busy professional who did not live super close to the dealership, he dealt with me on the phone and via email quickly and efficiently with no games. It is the kind of service I would expect, but has been hard to find from other dealerships. When I had to bring the car back in for a touchup on the rims, he was not present, and the general manager, Gretchen, quickly stepped in and made it seamless and efficient once again to get what I needed accomplished and on my way. I rarely do these kind of reviews, but I felt the team recognized how valuable my time was and thus, I felt it was necessary to complete a review.
