Stay away - Disappointed

They lie to you straight. I noticed that cargo net was missing after two days. The sales person promised he is going to send me one. There is no follow up whatsoever. As many has written, they ignore you once you sign the dotted line.

Lies, deception and dishonesty are how you describe Jim Falk Lexus

Lies, deception and dishonesty are a few of the words that come to mind when recollecting my experience at Jim Faulk Lexus this past Monday 2/4/19. I waited a few days to write this review to see if Jim Falk Lexus would call me to try to remedy the situation. This is a long review but I recommend you read this before buying a Lexus from Jim Falk so this doesn’t happen to you. This all started when I found out I needed new tires on my Lexus RX450h. I called the Lexus dealership seeing if I needed the same brand tire per my lease agreement, and was greeted by a salesperson by the name of Fredi. I had 6 months left on my 3 year lease, with only 15k miles on it and she informed me that I was eligible for a lease upgrade and they would waive the fee for tire replacement and some other scratches I had on my car. She was very excited to take my car back she said this was a golden nugget I was sitting on with such low mileage that they could easily resell for a profit. I told her that I was only interested in doing this if I could “swap keys” for a new lease, meaning absolutely no other costs associated and I could pay the exact same monthly payment. I had 2 previous leases through Jim Falk Lexus, and the last time I upgraded my lease, it was as simple as just swapping keys, meaning no money down, and I got the same exact vehicle with the same features for the same monthly payment. She completely assured me that it would be as simple as swapping keys and to come into the dealership today to upgrade the lease. I also mentioned to her how I had a DMV appointment schedule today because of an error with my registration payment not being received by the DMV, and she told me that they had a DMV representative that works on-site and she would handle all that so just cancel my appointment (which took me a month to get). This looked like a great proposition on the outside, as I could fix all these car problems I was having through renewing my lease. I even cancelled clients and my fiancé rescheduled work just to make this happen. Fast forward a few hours later, and I meet Ari, the salesperson who Fredi referred over to me to test drive the new Lexus RX450H. First red flag I should have caught on to was when we started talking about football and I disclosed I was a Patriots fan, was that he said he was also rooting for the Pats even thought he was from California. Everyone from California and New York knows that it’s practically sacrilegious in the sports world to root for a Boston team if you’re from one of those states, and vice-versa! The test-drive goes well, and afterwards I noticed they had a new “L” model which was 4.5” longer and asked about pricing on that. Fredi then comes over and introduces herself, telling me there was no way I can get the RX450H for the $600/month I’m currently paying, and I would have to pay over $700/month for that car. WHAT!? The whole conversation on the phone was exactly for this!! She then tells me I can have a stripped down RX450H for that price OR presents to me an option for last year’s 2018 “L” model that is fully loaded for an extra $60 / month. I told them that this was completely unacceptable as Fredi outright lied to me on the phone just to get me into the dealership. Several hours have passed at this point. I’m getting really hungry and upset. They then come back to me and tell me if I put down a $5k security deposit I can pay $625 / month. UM NO. I renegotiate and tell them I’ll put down $1,500 security deposit and can’t do a dollar over $625. keep in mind I am now downgraded from a 450 Hybrid, to a 350 L. Fredi then informs me to go test drive the car with Ari, and when I get back she is nowhere in sight. Ari then starts negotiating with me, and tells me they can do $640/month with a $2k security deposit, and drive-off fees (first month + registration). I tell them $625 w/ $2k security deposit, and drive-off is my final offer and if they can’t do it then I’ll just go get my new tires and call it a day. Ari takes a moment to speak with a manager, then comes back with his hand out and tells me we have a deal. 5 hours later, and hungry beyond words, we finally have a deal (so I thought). It’s 8pm at this point and we decide to order take-out for for all of us while we process the paperwork. I call up Cafe Gratitude and order dinner for us all, including Ari who gives me his order. Ari brings out all the paperwork, takes both our licenses, has us sign several pages of documents, and then shows us a price breakdown form which lists the costs of everything, and in the middle of it I see a $900 acquisition fee! I tell him this is once again unacceptable and if this can’t be waived I need to leave. Another 15 minutes later he comes back and tells me we have a deal and we are good to go. Thank the lord (so I thought). After we finish up signing all the paperwork, the finance guy comes over and starts circling numbers on the page, saying this goes here and this is gonna go there, and then circles $2,000, on top of my first month payment and registration and says this is what I need to pay in order to make the deal work. We’re looking at over $3,500 at this point. I look at Ari and say “Oh no Ari, please make this stop. I can’t do this anymore”. Ari walks away, and then finance gives me with a cold stare. I tell him there’s no way I’m paying that extra fee as I’ve already compromised tremendously from the original promise Fredi gave me, losing the hybrid feature, downsizing my engine, and agreeing to pay $25 extra / month with a $2k deposit. The finance guy puts his hand out and says sorry no deal. My fiancé and I look at ourself and say “What the F just happened.” Neither Fredi nor Ari are around to say anything and have left the office. 6 hours of my day completely wasted, work for both of us cancelled, DMV appointment missed, and now I have to go pay for the car salesman’s dinner. WOW! I can only imagine what the sales manager said the next day when he sees signed paperwork for a lease with the deal not being closed. Unless Lexus comes back to me with the deal of a lifetime at this point, apologizing up-and-down, that car company is dead to me. What uncompassionate, lying [non-permissible content removed] they are. ZERO customer loyalty to someone who had 2 Lexus vehicles prior. Buyers beware, these sales reps will deceive you to their grave to defeat you!

Avoid at all costs!!!

We were made to wait in the lounge for about an hour while they were doing the paperwork. They knew we had had a long day and we feel like (looking back on it) they were wearing us out and trying to get us to not read what we were signing closely enough (and sadly it worked). They told us they had gotten the bank to extend a lower financing even if we took the longer loan, so we thought "why not?" We were too tired and trusting and just signed. And guess what??? The bill came in and it was the higher rate for the longer loan. Had we known, we would have just taken the shorter loan. Tried to reach the dealership multiple times and never received a return call. Finally talked to the sales manager one time who promised to look in to it and call me the next day. It's been about 2 weeks now and SHOCKER!!! No return call. I hope that all Lexus dealers do not have the habit of scamming their customers like this.

5 STAR ALL THE WAY - THE BEST!

My wife and I have just returned from an 800 mile road trip visiting the central coast to celebrate her birthday. We both really enjoyed the quiet comfort and performance of our new Lexus RX. As I pulled into my driveway after 5 hours of driving, I was thinking about the great buying experience at Jim Falk Lexus and how satisfied I was with my decision to purchase the RX. That's when I caught sight of a large box on my doorstep. When I saw that it was from Jim Falk Lexus, I told my wife "Ari {our salesperson Ari Harrison] said he was going to send me something he hoped would make me smile bigger than when I drove off in my new car. How much do you want to bet he got me the all weather mats I had my eye on?" Sure enough, when I opened the box, my smile was as big if not bigger and the gift put an exclamation point on a great weekend. I have bought more than a few new cars in my lifetime, often dreading the trip to the dealership. I also have to admit that I was hoping to buy my new car at a dealership closer to my home in Palos Verdes. All I can Say now is that I am so glad I went to Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills. My buying experience was so easy and enjoyable and like no other I have ever experienced. My salesperson Ari Harrison is to be commended. My new all weather car mats look great too!

Poor customer service

I bought a certified used car from this dealership last fall and had the typical "some good some OK" experience. I later learned from a different Lexus dealership I should have received the first four maintenance services for free, but it needed to show in their computer system. I contacted Jim Falk Lexus and got the complete run around. I was transferred several times until a sales manager told me he would "research the issue" and call me. He never did. I then emailed the finance manager I dealt with and never heard back. Finally, I emailed the general manager to explain the customer service issue and the maintenance issue, and he replied saying he would call me. He never did. Obviously Jim Falk Lexus cares only about the sale of a car for the money and not about their customers. This was a simple issue that should have immediately been taken care of, but instead they were apathetic and not helpful in the least. If you're looking for a Lexus take your business elsewhere.

It's been over a month and not even the GM is doing anything...Abismal

Long story short, bought my vehicle from out of state, still can't register my vehicle = can't drive. They don't care, the $90k+ vehicle was even delivered without being detailed as promised. Tyler B. is the man, thats the only good thing I can say. Everyone else is a lazy [non-permissible content removed], they just tell you anything to get you off the phone. Still waiting for the GM to call me back along with half the dealership. Go anywhere else even if that means spending a little more. BEWARE, you were warned...

Horrible dealer to purchase a car.

This is a horrible dealership. Bought a car for 3 moths, no license plate yet. Call 15 times to DVM specialist, sale manager, left 8 messages for status, no response. nada... zero response. So disappointed. Beware, once you get the car, you are on your own. Good luck and have fun waiting 2-3hr in DVM to ask for status. Hope owner of the dealer read my review.

Not an honest dealer

This is for used cars only. Buyer beware. I bought a used IS350 which had a clean carfax and dealer said was not in an accident. My brother (who used to deal with salvage cars) told me the cars been in an accident and the front fender and door has been replaced and repainted. You can tell because its missing the sticker with the VIN. I know the dealer had to have known this but didn't care to disclose that information, because it wasn't on the carfax. So lesson learned. Don't trust what they tell you, even if the carfax is clean.

Stereotype and horrible freaking service!

I walked in to this dealership because I found a used car they had for a very reasonable price. As i walked in to the lobby nobody attended me since I was not dressed in a suit and tie or whatever. I was wearing my work uniform. I had to ask for help in order to get some attention. I waited 20 mins for someone to attend me. ( by the way I' am a Latino Male) Finally someone came up to me. We spoke about the car I was interested in. We test drove it. I wanted it. The deal was a cash only sale. a 10k+ car. I agreed. We sat down and did some negotiating. The manager came and said the price is firm on the cash sale. I explained that the driver seat was not operating properly for length adjustment. He quoted "then the car is just not for you" and walked away. Any how I still wanted the car and accepted it as is. They asked for my personal information to run my credit and I asked why if the deal was a cash deal only. They said is just to keep my information for future reference. Come to find out they actually ran my credit a few weeks later. SMH! Mind as well I should of bought it from a private party. In the end I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I tried contacting lexus with this issue and they said they will look into it. A year later and still no response. I guess go dress in a suit and tie in order to get better service. If I had the option to rate this dealership with no stars I would definitely do it!

Love my not-quite-new Lexus!

I found the exact car I was looking for at Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills: a certified pre-owned Lexus RX 450h. It was in beautiful shape - a 2013 with just 23,000 miles. I had shopped around and the price was right in line. I called and made an appt with Georgio to test-drive it. I loved the car but wanted to give it some thought. No high-pressure pitch from Georgio. I called a couple more times with questions, which he was able to answer and bought the car a day and a half later. I called to get the financing started and said I'd be In the next day but Georgio said they could do everything over the phone and he'd deliver the car to me that evening, which is exactly what he did. The whole experience could not have been easier or more pleasant. And I have a 6 year warranty. I'm very pleased with Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Best Dealership in the World!!!

No exaggeration necessary! Best dealership I have ever dealt with, and believe me I have dealt with many! Everyone here is so polite and friendly. Everyone walks with a smile on their face. All my questions were answered and all my demands were met. They gave me the deal I wanted, which was a STEAL. The only way the deal they gave me could have been better, was if they filled the trunk with a pot of gold. If you are looking for a Lexus, look no further. You will NOT find a better deal than what they give you here. Save your time and energy, just go there. I searched high and low for a car. I never thought I would end with a lexus, but the deal they gave me I could not turn it down. When you do head there, ask for Kim, John (the manager), or AZ! 3 of the best in the whole dealership!!! You wont regret it.

This is the 7th vehicle we've purchased through Jim Falk Lexus from Hadi Noori between our close friends and family. They are alway courteous, professional, and most importantly reasonably priced. We drive up passing multiple Lexus dealers from San Diego. Their sales team always honors their word and they don't try to change any of the figures promised. I will consistently recommend Hadi to everyone I know interested in a Lexus product.

Greg Khnigikyan (Sales & Leasing Specialist) from the sales department did an excellent job. He is friendly, professional, honest, patient, knowledgeable, he gives excellent deals, and he is excellent with numbers. I also got an internet quote and I got the deal that he promised me. Everyone else from the sales department who also helped me also did an excellent job (product demonstrator, product/technology specialist, finance person).
