Recent Windshield Replacement

Following the collision of a rock and my windshield I immediately called my insurance company (USAA) for replacement and what were my options, was told there was several glass compinies that could do the work but didnot mention McClarty Honda of LR. I informed my insurance company I wanted McClarty Honda in on the installation in that McClarty Honda would have to reprogram the cameras.(unknown to me) so a date/time was set to which I met and must comment my service advisor (David) who was constantly keeping me informed on the status of my vehicle. The work was completed and I left the dealership got a few miles down the road at which time Land Departure light came on and the vehicle "shook" thinking sometning was wrong I went back to the dealership at which time they gave me a loner car and I started my journey back home. They kept my car overnight and retested/reprogramed my cameras when in fact all that was wrong with the car was I had never activated the Lane Departure Signal and somehow (probably by me not knowing what I was doing) it was turned on and thus the situation raised it's head. Sorry for the time/trouble. Keep the 'Spiller Machine' going as it is the very best I have ever been associated with. Outstanding Service

I recently had a new part installed on my 2008 CRV by another company and it started causing other problems that they couldn't figure out. I brought my vehicle into the McLarty service department where Kim Phillips was my service adviser. I explained the rather detailed problem to her and she and the service techs were able to identify that the part installed improperly by the other company. They were able to fix the problem and provided me with a letter and video of what they found about how the part was incorrectly installed so I could get reimbursed by that other company. I would like to thank Kim and the service techs as they were a pleasure to work with!! My only complaint was the cost of the fix was double what the other company charged, but in this case, the extra cost was worth it as it was installed correctly!!

SLOW

I made an appointment for 10:00 on January 16, 2017, to have my oil changed and tires rotated. We live east of Cabot, close to Beebe, so it's at least a 45 minute drive, even longer depending on traffic. When I arrived, there were lots of people there and I was told that it would be about an hour. I asked why I had been told that I needed to make an appointment if they were taking people ahead of me, and was told that appointments are made just so that everyone would't come at the same time. Since I had already made the trip I decided to stay, but it was an hour and 40 minutes later when they finished with my car. We have bought three vehicles there and have always taken them there for service, but I won't be doing that any longer. The fact that I made an appointment should have put me in front of those who just showed up. They gave me $5.00 off for the wait, but I'd have rather gotten out of there sooner because I had other things I needed to do.
