Work with Tyler and Faith!!

My experience at Koons Kia Woodbridge. The overall purchase experience was awesome. Faith and Tyler were the best. They understood my needs, offered me fair trade in value for my 2019 BMW 330 (which It was hard for me to get rid of) and got me as close to my preferred purchase price as possible. It is always more enjoyable to work with a dealership who wants to work with you rather than one who draws out the process and attempts to tire you into submission of purchasing a vehicle just to get out of there. The only part of the experience that could have been better was with the add-ons. While the gentleman was very kind, the financial manager definitely attempted to apply pressure for me to purchase add ons even though I stated I didn’t want any. I definitely felt “sold” on this. My recommendation would be to not oversell here, present the benefits to the customers and accept their first response as where they are with an appetite to add anything. If not support them and wish them well. They will come back with return business 100%. I will definitely work with Koons Kia again in the future.

Selling a used car as "new"

Drove over an hour and a half to the dealership to purchase a brand new 2024 vehicle. Did the financing application prior to arriving as I was certain I was going to buy the vehicle which affected my credit. Upon arrival I took the vehicle on a test drive and the odometer had 2500 miles on it. I asked how this was still being sold as a new car as it had obviously been used. We drove back to the dealership and the vehicle had a small door ding and there was a scratch on the rear bumper. They told me it was a loaner vehicle and upon learning that that was a deal breaker for me they came back and said that it hadn't been a loaner and that the general manager had been the one using and driving the vehicle around for his personal use. They offered to take 300 dollars off for it having so many miles plus the door ding and scratch as if that was even remotely enough to cover the cost it would take to fix the door ding and scratch. Steer clear of this place!

Unethical service or lack there of.

They lie, charge for repairs and parts not installed. You vehicle maybe used as their person truck while waiting for "parts" the very parts they do not install. Your vehicle will be returned with the same issue after having it for over 5 weeks. No one will know what is wrong with you vehicle after their so called non repair. Literally take auto anywhere else but to this dealership.

Not inspection ready

My husband and I drove 3.5 hours to this dealership to purchase my 2017 Dodge Challenger. We met an awesome salesman to whom I which I will attest was great to work with. Prior to completing the purchase of said vehicle there were a few fixes to the lights (fog lights and passenger side running lights) that were agreed upon. The vehicle was to be brought back to the dealership at a later date TBD for corrections to be made estimated to take around 2 hrs for completion. A date was agreed upon and vehicle returned for repair at 10:30 am. After waiting in the service area for 4 hours with no update on vehicle I contacted the salesman and confirmed it should be another hour for completion. The vehicle was brought back with only the fog lights not the running lights which house turn signal to this vehicle. Upon inspection I made the salesman aware of the problem which still remained and a call was place to the mechanic who advised the lights were aftermarket and were all in working order which was incorrect as the running light was not working and turn signal still failed to work. Feeling defeated as I had took a full day from work to complete the repairs which were not resolved. I entered the vehicle to find that there was no sound to my radio which had previously worked. Due to the mechanic not answering the line I was provided a rental car to start my 3.5 hour drive back home as it was then after 5pm. The radio was fixed and car returned to the dealership after my departure and I was advised to return tomorrow to retrieve my vehicle. Knowing that would accompany another day from work the rental was returned the same night. I said all that to say while my salesman did all he was able to do to complete the sale and appointment to the failed repairs which were noted in the I owe you section of my contract. I do feel management who was on site and said not one word to me could have handled the situation at hand differently as I now have to complete repairs to the light which should have been done during my 8 hrs shift at Koons Kia of Woodbridge. Please provide the image attached to your mechanic for future of his determination of aftermarket lights (which was found on your website) prior to purchase of vehicle.

Awesome experience

I had a great experience with Koons KIA. My first visit was Wednesday and I made the purchase on Saturday. I always want the car buying process to be shorter, but once I was able to get into finance it went quickly. The only hiccup was the car wasn’t fully charged because their chargers were not fully operational. Every other aspect was great. My salesperson, Justus, and one of his associates, Ahmed, were very helpful. Ahmed is especially knowledgeable when it comes to the EV market.

Koons took care of us, worth the drive!

Great pricing and costumer service. We drove more than 4 hours to get to Koons to get the color and price we wanted. Other dealerships were not able to beat Koons price. Brenna took great care of us and made sure the car was washed and fully charged up before we arrived. She was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We were in good hands.

Oil Change Tire rotation

Was easy to make a next day appointment online. No big deal but...I wasn't sure where to park for service appointment. There is a sign for service but no markings to show where to get in line. And since there were several cars with drivers who seemed also to be waiting to pull in their cars into the service drop off area, I found a spot to park in front of the dealership. This was my first time at this dealership and I'll be back.

If it’s not a KIA don’t buy it

I purchased a Lexus RX350 from this dealership with a warranty , I am having engine issues with my vehicle where I need to use my warranty. They won’t honor my warranty because they don’t have the knowledge of how to repair it. Maybe they shouldn’t sell certain warranty on cars they can’t repair. In the interim I expect my vehicle to be repair as they sold me the warranty. However if it’s not a KIA I would note to not buy the warranty as they can’t honor repairs on anything but a kia.

Dishonest and greedy!!!!

People have different expierence at different businesses so people may take their own judgment after having their own encounter and that encounter may not apply to others but these giants needs to be accountable to some extent to working people like me when they do not illegal but immorale things. Now i was given an offer and the F&I and sales managers tried to walk back from this offer the minute they learnt that i am doing my own financing by giving me lame excuses like they wont hold the car for few hours until i bring the check from the lender even when i offered to pay $11K to show i am serious and that i am not going to disappear and make them lose other potential customers. I am venting here because the model is rare and hard to find. And because they couldnt say i cant buy a car with my own financing they were giving me stuipd excuses. After making me go through the whole process of getting the finance which i let them know before hand they called and said they are selling the car. All i wanted was honesty, if they had told me because they are not screwing me with the financing that they dont want to sell the car to and i would understand because they are there to make money. But after making me go through all the financing part, test driving, running my credit and making me fill all sort of forms it is unethical and a greedy way of doing business to say we are selling the car to another customer because they finance through them. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO ANY KOONS STORE EVEN IF THEY SELL A CAR FOR FREE!!!!!!!

Terrible Dealer

PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! This dealership by far is just a factory. They get you in and get you out with poor customer appreciation. I brought a car in January of this year and 34 days later, I had problems with the transmission. I did not buy the extended warranty as I planned to purchase a warranty plan with a privately owned mechanic shop. When I brought the car into my shop, thinking it was something minor, it was not. He immediately instructed me to go back to Koons and speak with them because the car should not be doing that if it was a 2018 car. Unfortunately, after several attempts, the sales manager told me “it is nothing they could do.”Please note: I haven’t even paid my first car note. I came back twice to speak with management to see how they are able to help me; again, I was turned away. Two months later, I have a new problem and they still will not help me. Again, I am so disappointed as I thought this car was a great deal! How I was wrong.

Koons [non-permissible content removed]

Koons Kia of Woodbridge (Virginia) knowingly and deceptively sold me a vehicle that had a lack of proper maintenance, and that needed major mechanical repairs. Costs of the neglected repairs and maintenance were/are in excess of eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00). They also told me the vehicle had features that it did not (ie. parking sensors). Koons Kia LIED in their reply to the BBB in response to my complaints. Their response falsely stated: "Since the original complaint was issued, we have been in contact with the customer and the issue has been resolved. Customer is content with the final results with the vehicle." From that point, the BBB said the dealer told them that they spoke with me and everything was resolved so they're closing my complaint....xxx? I don't care what false positive reviews are being posting. This was my experience, and based on the way it all happened, it was not an outlier or anomaly. I now see their business model as lie, cheat and deceive to get the sale. Once the deal is done, screw the buyer! Note to Koons: don't bother adding an insincere, bs note about being surprised by my experience!

All I can say that the management is [non-permissible content removed], deceitful, shady, and have no care for the costumer. bottom line is I was lied to and no one has the balls to tell the truth, also I was told if you dont like the price you can go someone else.by their sales manager, I also called the general manager which has the worst management skills someone should check his degree, and I also called vice president of sales and never got a call back. its all about the money and not the costumer. this place is garbage and people need to wake and understand and not purchase from this dealership. They train all their employees to lie and have no care, I will never buy or purchase any vehicle from the house of [non-permissible content removed]. dont be bought in by their fakeness.

I found 2 vehicles on line and shared the information with a salesperson that contacted me. We arranged for me to come and test drive the vehicles. When I got there he told me the vehicles I was interested in were not there and probably would not be there for a month. He showed me a different color vehicle but not what I drove there to see. In addition, he wasn’t knowledgable about them. He had to constantly go and get answers to my questions. Horrible attitude and service.

Koons Kia Service does another great job

As a customer dependent on Koons Kia Service, I have consistently gotten excellent service and they always seem to add a new service feature before my next visit that makes the transaction that much easier. For this visit, they sent me multiple emails reminding me to bring in my car so that I am in accordance with the warranty; to heighten the motivation, they included coupons with the email. They used them both and the total price of the maintenance was 1/3 of what I was expecting. The representatives are also consistently terrific; they are always thinking about how to take care of your every need, they remember you from prior visits, and they are always pleasant and efficient. In addition to the reps, the mechanics are awesome! Every time I get my car back, it runs better than it did when it was new. In terms of employing technology to up their service game, Koons Kia's website is easy to navigate and offers you the opportunity to review all of the data on your vehicle. Last but not least, the facilities are comfortable and it's easy to work there while waiting for my car.

Headlight adjustment

I was notified by Kia consumer affairs there was an issue with the headlights which required an adjustment because they were too high. Kia indicated it would take an hour to complete the adjustment. The headlights would be blinding to oncoming traffic. I scheduled an appointment to have them adjusted. As indicated it only took an hour to complete. My service advisor Kirolos was the consummate professional.
