Used car sales

My son Troy bought a 2006 Acura in September 2018 & 2 weeks ago the transmission went, he’s only made 2 payments & now $2000 worth of work has to be done. My son is 21 years old & trying to buy a reliable car to get back & forth to work & now he’s paying a car payment & can’t drive his car until he comes up with $2000 which is very hard for a 21 year old. I called the sales manager (Jon Bonnett) & he said let me see what was checked before selling, well I don’t see anything about fluids being check, transmission or engine. I feel if you are selling a used car it should have a complete check over & that means everything. They did change oil, state inspection & alignment which is important but so is the transmission. Jon acted like he didn’t care, wouldn’t even work with us , he said you bought as is, they stated that he couldn’t get any warranty. I understand the as is but this shouldn’t happen 2 months after he buys it. I can maybe understand if this happened a year from now but 2 months! I will be taking this higher but I thought if anyone wants to buy a used car from them, don’t! I will never again & I drive a Toyota.

Best Dealership Ever

If you want awesome service and the best price in Virginia then take the drive and go see Gloucester Toyota!!! The sales manager was MORE than fair and super friendly. Gene will go out of his way to find out the answer to any question you have. Although the drive may take a while, you won't feel like you are waiting around for a long time at this dealership. Everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. It really took all the stress out of buying a car. We will be driving back in the future to work with these guys again.

Gloucester Toyota Scion is definitely the place to go for professional, helpful, caring staff. Our salesperson spent a considerable amount of time answering questions, and explaining everything we needed to know about our new vehicle. We highly recommend Gloucester Toyota Scion.

Worth the Drive!!!

My wife and I life in Newport News, and after another horrible experiences at all the Peninsula dealers we decided to give Gloucester Toyota a try. The sales staff was the most laid back and friendly group we have ever dealt with. We love our Camry and look forward to dealing with Gloucester Toyota in the future!!!

Great sales people and support staff. Mr.Chaney was very informative and professional in the way he dealt with us. Lee Wheat the General Manager made us feel at home. Russ Beach, the finance manager offered us many different products to enahance our car's exterior and was not pushy at all. Mr. Larry Cardwell, the new car manager was very cordial and polite. Mr. Doug UpDyke the service manager made us feel relaxed and confident that any and all service concerns would me taken care of. I would recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a new or used car.
