Job Incomplete

onOn April 5, 2023, I took my 2020 GMC Terrain in for an oil change and tire rotation. However, the tire rotation was not done. I know this for a fact because for the last couple of months I have received the notice to add air to my passenger back right tire. After I picked up my vehicle I received the same notification on the exact same tire and location. So isn't it logical to conclude that the rotation was not done because if that same tire was moved I would gotten the notification for a different location, not the same location as before. So on April 8 around 9:30 a.m. I called Ken in the service department and left a message no response. On April 12 around 9 a.m. I took my vehicle back to GMC Collierville Service Department and spoke with Ken and he said I could have ran over a nail or it could be the cool mornings?? My point is I don't believe that my tires were rotated and the service was paid for. So what are you going to do about? Thank you for allowing to explain what happened.

2021 Silverado Check Engine light

onMy service tech did his best to explain away the poor practices at this dealership, so the poor rating is on the Service Manager and repair techs. I took my 2021 1500 Silverado LT with 38k miles in because a check engine light came on. When dropping off, literally at the dealership, a message came on that new brake pads were detected, do I want to reset sensor?. I was called later that day and told my driver's side front brake sensor wiring harness failed because of the lift kit so the harness and sensor would need replacing for $550. I approved but asked them to keep the replaced parts. I called Zone Lifts and they said it is impossible that the lift kit caused the failure. A week later I was contacted that they had diagnosed the check engine light as nothing. I was told it "could be a voltage change by charging your cell phone" made the light come on. When I picked up the truck my bill was $700. $550 for the brake cable harness+sensor and $150 for the check engine light diagnostic. The bill specifically says the diagnostic fee may be charged if recommended repairs are declined. There were no repairs recommended! And upon inspection and testing of the brake sensor it was perfect! The wiring harness did have a cut on the wire from possible road trash. Rather than just replace the cable ($30 and 10 minutes then test again) they performed a completely unnecessary service of replacing the sensor. I called and asked the Service Manager to call me to discuss but he never did, thus the poor review. I was scammed by this dealership so be advised when using them.

Car runs ok, but lights on dash still indicate there is a problem

onWhen we brought the car in there were problems with traction and wheels turning improperly. Well I was told that after the evaluation I needed shocks and other stuff. Thinking this would fix the problem because Ken said so. I said fix it, at the cost of over $1,000. I don't drive the car myself my daughter does. And she told me the lights are still coming on and even more frequent now. When those lights come on she must pull the car over and wait a few minutes before it will drive again. That is not satisfactory.
