I spent more than I had originally planned but I suspected I would. I wasn't offered "dealer incentives", but the experience was straight forward, with no "let me ask my sales manager" games. The sales rep did agree to share the cost of optional hitch. Overall I'm happy with the experience and with our new car.

Friendly and easy process from start to finish. Online sales consultant answered questions and directed me to a dealer who held my car and took payment over phone. Everything was worked out through phone, email, and texts over the next few days as the vehicle was In Transit. All I had to do was show up and sign some documents. I don't live near there, but the facility was really nice as well. I was impressed with the cleanliness and activity in there.

was promised oil changes for 2 years when I bought the subaru I have to fight with service dept to get even 1 was going to buy tires and they forgot so I went to another dealer to buy them, i also bought a tire plan....$250.....WHAT FOR they forgot that too so I pulled out the agreement and still they ignored it.

Free windshield wiper yearly replacement

I stopped at the dealership to set up an appointment to replace my windshield wipers. No appointment was necessary, they saw to it right away. No muss or fuss. Always a pleasure to deal with the Boardman Subaru Service Department. Nice people who aim to please.

They are always very friendly and thorough in their explanations. They also give a heads up on the wear and tear on brakes/tires and an idea as to when they might need replaced.

Ridiculous dealer policies

We purchased a used van to donate to a young couple with a chronically ill newborn (cystic fibrosis) We wrote our check on the 5th. It cleared our bank on the 6th. The dealership refused to process the title work for 2 weeks. Without a title, we were unable to take the van from Ohio to Wisconsin. The family was unable to take the child to medical appointments during this time. The dealership refused to process the title on a vehicle for which payment had cleared the bank. We should have a right to have the title to a vehicle that was paid for.
