Excellent customer service with Robert Miller at Ilderton Dodge !

onFrom start to finish with our vehicle purchase, we noticed and greatly appreciated all the right qualities in our saleman, Robert Miller. His professionalism, knowledge, efficiency, and courtesy made us feel very comfortable with our purchase from out-of-state. No games, just good business sense. He was easily accessible and available during the many phone calls/emails to make the deal work for us. Even after the sale, Robert and his Title Clerk, Gina were very helpful and efficient in finalizing DMV details for us. Well done, Robert, and keep up the good work!
Horrible Experience

onI contacted Ilderton Dodge to see if there was a possibility of me trading my vehicle. I spoke with Mitch several times but once I put an application in it was a week of no calls or emails. I finally emailed him very disgruntled and all I got were excuses. Then he had Don Massey call me. He identified himself as being from the finance department, which is on a voicemail that I still have, when in fact he was only customer acquisition. He had never looked at my credit bureau or situation yet promised me the world. When I arrived he met with me for 20 seconds before passing me off onto Brandon (who was great!). Brandon told me everything as it was, made suggestions, and was wonderful but at this point I have been ignored and lied to by two members of the sales staff. Then once they started looking into my information ( a week after I authorized the CB report to be run) they decided that based on his sales manager's prior knowledge that no bank would finance me that much money (not because of lack of income, decent credit score, but because of negative equity). I brought my concern of negative equity up to the first two and they said it would be no problem. Well...long story short was it took 1 guy 2 minutes to look at my information and decide not to even try with a bank and they didnt seem sad, or even disappointed (like I was) that I was walking out with nothing except for a bad taste in my mouth for Ilderton Dodge. I wouldn't suggest my worst enemy shop there (unless you like to be ignored, lied to, them give you "fair" value on your trade from KBB (about $2k less that they should) and then them not even try to get you financing). The good news.....I financed a brand new Jeep the very next day somewhere else.

onI had recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Patriot from Ilderton Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep and had the best experience ever! My salesman Robert Miller was phenomenal and helped me get the best deal ever! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Can't do any better

onThere is a huge difference between a family owned dealer and a corporate owned dealer. the experience I had with Ilderton DCJ was so much better than my visit with a dealer in Greensboro. I had never shopped at Ilderton before, but I will definitely be there on my next shopping trip. The salesman was great. The negotiation was low keyed and getting the navigation program installed was smooth and quick. These guys are worth checking out.

Outstanding Experience

onI purchased at 2014 Ram 1500 from these guys and I honesty can't find one thing to complain about! I shopped for months prior to finding Ilderton on the Internet. Within minutes after submitting an interest form online, a sales rep called me and asked a few more questions to pinpoint the vehicle for me. I always saw car salesman as "vultures" but the staff at Ilderton proved my stereotypical belief wrong. Robert Miller worked with for over a week to get to a price that we both were satisfied with. Not only did they meet me on the price, but they also agreed to other additions to the vehicle that I wanted to make part of the deal. I got home with my new truck and realized it didn't have a CD player. I went on their website and found the same exact truck like mine that did come with a CD player. I called Robert the next day and was instructed to return the truck I had bought and they would "switch it out" with the truck with the CD player. I figured since the paperwork had already been done, they wouldn't work with me anymore to keep me satisfied. I was wrong! When I returned, they already has the other truck cleaned up and full of gas for me. The paperwork process took less than 15 minutes and I was out the door in 30 minutes! This place is the best of the best! I'll do business with them from now on every time! Thanks Ilderton!

onI live over 400 miles from High Point but had a van I had previously purchased from another Ilderton store. I wanted to trade in this van for a new Dodge and Mark in sales helped me at every step. I ended up getting EXACTLY what I wanted and it was delivered to me just as promised! It was the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made! Thanks!!!!

Internet Purchaser's Beware

onIlderton Dodge represents the old world sales tactics of Bait and Switch: I negotiated a price for a 2009 PT Cruiser via their Internet Sales Team. When I showed up at the dealership to complete the purchase I was told by the sales manager that they could not honor that price and would not sell me the car; the internet team mistakenly gave me a wrong price; and if I wanted the car it would cost me $1,500 more plus fees. Luckily I got up and walked out. Later that day the car was pulled from Ilderton Dodge's web site but has shown up in other internet searches. This dealership delivered Dishonest Sales Tactics and Poor Customer Service. My advice for internet purchasers: don't waste your time. The dealership uses the internet team to bait you with a price and then claims foul once you show up on the lot. If this is the kind of service one would receive from the show room floor, what kind of servce would one receive from the service area? Stay Away!

Please dont make our mistake

onThis dealers sales personnel got us to buy their product. When we went back to them with problems with the vehicle all we got was excuses and reasons why they wouldn't help. They did very little to actually help us and wanted to charge us even for warrantied repairs.
