Exceptional Customer Service

onOnce I decided to buy a used BMW ,(no small investment, even used) the buying options seemed endless. Carvana, CarMax, individual sellers, Import dealers, and every brand of new car dealers. I decided early on that I was only going to buy from a BMW Dealership . I felt that BMW’s reputation for customer service was some protection should I need it after purchase and that their inspection of the car would be superior due to their BMW expertise, even though there was no implied warranty with the vehicle. I can say , without a doubt, I made the right decision. Within 35 days of purchase I had 2 rather expensive issues with the car . These were out of the ordinary for the mileage on the car and nothing that could have been found prior to purchase. Once I spoke with the Sales Manager, Mark Miller, I felt that if there was any chance to remedy this situation, he would find it. His sincerity and empathy immediately made me feel better. Thanks to the solid reputation and goodwill of BMW of Asheville, they took care of both of these issues at no cost to me. I could not be more pleased by their honesty and integrity. Their customer service cannot be matched. They have gone above and beyond and couldn’t get a higher recommendation for purchasing a new or used car. Truly exceptional customer service from sales to service.

BMW Detailing

onThere was an initial scheduling foulup with their website; ie, they do not detail on Saturday because the process takes 1.5 days. Otherwise, both the Service Advisor and the Technician did a very professional job explaining the process and doing the work. Very pleased with the end result.

Great Experience!

onThe staff was amazing from beginning to end. I drove in from out of town to purchase and they were waiting and prepared for my arrival. Everyone from the receptionist, sales reps and financing made this an enjoyable and smooth transaction. I would definitely purchase with them again, it’s worth the drive!

2012 BMW 328i front brakes

onTook vehicle in for possible front brake job. After inspection it was determined that vehicle could go further before replacing front brakes. Did replace brake fluid as service was due. Reset computer for next service schedule. This vehicle has 91,600 miles and has only been serviced by BMW and will continue to service by BMW. BMW staff are always a pleasure to work with.

Great Service and Experience

onI sourced the specific vehicle I desired from my home in IL to this dealership in North Carolina…David Linenfelser reached out that day and did a FaceTime walk through of the vehicle for me - providing a full demo of all the key features and going out of his way to answer all of my questions about spatial details, etc. He got very creative with his umbrella and camera work to demonstrate just how much room the trunk and third row had…no small feat and meant a lot since I was thousands of miles away. We got a deal done seamlessly, and they got my vehicle to a Fields dealer location close to me in IL within a week. David is phenomenal to work with - a friendly experience, rather than feeling like you’re being taken for a ride by a salesman. Communication from start to finish was superb - I had texts, emails and phone calls every step of the way providing updates on the process. He even followed up with me well after the sale to see how things were going…think about that - I’m in IL and he’s already made the sale, and he’s still invested. Have to shout out to the finance team - Sharla and Kayla were great as well. No pressure, hassle or upsell. Communication was great, and they were able to beat the already great financing that I had brought to the table. I had a great experience with this group - pretty easy to leave a glowing review and recommendation. I’m sure the rest of the sales team is great, but highly recommend seeking out David if you’re shopping here - you won’t be disappointed.

Just like that, we traded for a new BMW X5 40i. David was very helpful in the selecting of the right vehicle for our family. onI would caution strongly against anyone who takes their vehicles in for service at Bmw Asheville. Approximately two years ago when our BMW X5 started having issues Just under 40,000 miles, we brought it into the Bmw o Asheville For service. We noticed that there is smoke coming out of the exhaust and we were having to put in almost 1 quart of oil into the engine every two weeks before the oil indicator would come on. We were told "that's what these big engines do quote and it is completely normal. Over the next two years we had multiple items fail on this vehicle And it has gotten so bad that it is embarrassing to drive this car due to the smoke billowing out of the exhaust. All this time the BMW dealer told us that this was normal. In the end we spent probably $3000 or more on repairs with them all to find out that this engine has been involved in a class action lawsuit. We finally brought it to a different dealer who performed a "oil consumption test" and we were told that we need a new engine. Unfortunately now that it has 70,000 miles on it, instead of 40,000 miles, we need to pay $3500 for this. At no time did BMW of Asheville ever recommended the oil consumption test, at no time did they ever tell us anything about the class action lawsuit or the steps that Bmw was taking to try and remedy a clearly faulty engine. They told us we “had an oil leak” and it would cost “thousands” to find and fix the leak. BMW of Asheville was completely dishonest in their representation of the issues that were going on with our BMW. I would highly recommend that anyone stay away from This dealer, and BMWs in general. This is been a horrible experience.We had been loyal Bmw customer's but no more. After three BMWs buying a car that is now essentially worthless despite only having 70,000 miles on it now is ridiculous.
