Best experience buying a car that I’ve ever had!

I’m new to the area and so grateful that I came across Durham Auto Mart. I looked at the “typical” dealerships where I was repeatedly shown high priced cars and told these were my only options. Then, I met JR. He is the consummate professional and an all around nice guy. I trusted him to have my best interest at heart and I believe he did. He knew his cars, understood my needs, and found me the perfect car. It was very reasonably priced, newer, nicer, and had less miles than any of the cars I’d been shown at dealerships. They worked hard to get me financed with a fantastic rate! I truly cannot say enough regarding how wonderful this experience was. I’ve purchased/leased more than a dozen vehicles in my life and this was the best, most honest and sincere experience of all of them. I will refer friends and family to shop here. I encourage anyone reading this to shop here. I will purchase my future vehicles from here. Thank you to the whole Durham Auto Mart team for your service.

My wife and I just bought a Nissan Frontier Friday,May 10th 2018. Best experience at a dealership I have had so far and I’ve bought quite a few vehicles,so that’s saying something. No pressure no salesman breathing down my neck. I haggled with the gentlemen probably more then they liked..but nothing but respectful and honest, just great guys. The truck was exactly what the advertisement said it was and I left happy. The only dealership I have ever stood around and talked about everything we had in common half an hour AFTER I bought the truck. Great people great vehicles an honest all 👍. Thanks again Durham Auto Mart. You all make used car dealers look good!!!! 😄

After several weeks and disappontnting experiences at several larger dealers, we stopped by the Auto Mart. We were resigned to give up on the car we were looking for but TJ and Toby found the car we wanted within 48 hours. Through the process, TJ treated my husband and I like old friends and put the fun back into buying a car. My suggestion to anyone in the area looking for a vehicle is to stop here first.

Can't say enough great things about these guys.while shopping they gave you the space you needed and never felt harassed.Ended up buying a H2 hummer from them and they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase.Bought this out of my state and their was an issue with my tags so they came to my state and handled everything.Now that's service!.Then I ended up with a minor mechanical problem with my vehicle and even though it wasn't covered they paid it any way.Toby ,my sales guy ,didn't hesitate to send me a check.Hummer is in excellent condition.Thank you

After months of looking for just the right used car and being frustrated with other dealers, this dealership came through for us! The car was exactly as described when we arrived and TJ was extremely helpful in every way. There was none of the usual sales pressure or manipulation to make a decision...no bait and switch or misrepresentation of the car or its condition...just honest information about the vehicle, the process and an offer to assist in any way possible. It felt like we had known them for years instead of it being our first meeting. TJ and Roxanne were a pleasure to deal with. The vehicle was in excellent condition and had been thoroughly checked out by their service department, detailed and ready for purchase. The entire purchase process went smoothly and, in very little time, we were driving home in a beautiful car! It's nice to know there are still dealerships with integrity who understand real customer service. Until we came here, we were so frustrated with driving long distances to see a car we were told was in great condition only to arrive and be very disappointed. I would highly recommend TJ, Roxanne and this dealership to anyone who wants to be treated honestly, fairly, professionally and courteously when purchasing a vehicle! TJ even called the day after our purchase to thank us for our business. So thoughtful! We will certainly be back when we are ready for our next car! Best car buying experience ever!

Probably the most enjoyable car buying experience we ever had !! Typically we buy new from the big dealer, and often with suppliers discount, which makes the deal very easy. But Durham's Auto Mart was our first time buying a used car... it was very rewarding and fulfilling. The 2015 Fusion was loaded and very clean, a perfect find for us. Our purchase price was at market value (maybe even a tad lower) and we are very satisfied. TJ did a fabulous job and guided the sales function flawlessly. It was an awesome experience. Highly recommended, they are very nice people. We are pleased we could support a local family business.

I have been searching for a Tahoe for several weeks, and happened to see Durham Auto Mart had two in my price range. I made it this morning to meet Jayson Goodman, my sales representative. Jayson went over both vehicles and helped me compare what they offered to me and made my choice easy. He also provided me with a few choices for financing, handled all of the paperwork besides what I needed to sign, got the truck cleaned and gassed up, all of this while I was back at work. I came in, signed the documents, and drove away happy. There is a reason this place has been here for years folks! The quality of vehicles they purchase, and people like Jayson who make a difference. I will not hesitate to do business with Jayson or Durham Auto Mart again, and will refer my friends and family to them without hesitation!

Excellent Experience

My wife and I have purchased several new and used vehicles from the big dealerships in the Raleigh area. We were always drawn in by the flashy advertising, proclaimed volume discounts and promises that usually ended in disappointment. Perhaps we were too lazy to drive to Durham or assumed all dealerships were the same. We were wrong and certainly found an exception at Durham's Auto Mart. You can definitely tell it is a family-owned and managed organization. They treated us differently than any other dealership has from the very beginning. There was instant trust and respect almost like we were part of their family. We didn't have to suffer through the hassle of going back and forth and sales tactics that most have used to force us into buying a car. TJ and the other guys in Management were extremely fair and accommodating without any of the games or pressure. Definitely the best car buying experience we have ever had. We highly recommend them and will definitely buy our future cars there. We are very thankful we drove a few minutes out of our way to visit Durham's Auto Mart!

We recently bought a car from Durham's Auto Mart. We had a great experience! We were treated very well. They were honest, upfront, and willing to work with us! We worked specifically with Jayson. He was great! They take pride in their cars, and did everything possible to make sure we were getting a good car. There were some things that were due for replacement in the near future on our car and they offered to replace those things for us for free. When I went back to pick up our license plate, they asked how the car was doing. I told them that everything was great, but that we needed to replace our rear brake light. They happily offered to replace it for us right then and there. I drove right into their shop and they had it done in 10 mins. I highly recommend Durham's Auto Mart.

I couldn't believe the deal we got! Toby helped us find the perfect Lexus for an outstanding price. It's made all of our neighbors jealous because of what great shape its in and the price we paid. Durham's Automart is great! I'll never buy another car anywhere else.

Our world had just been turned upside down with both my husband and myself diagnosed with Cancer. My husband Stage 4 Bone Cancer and myself Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We had been looking for a Tahoe for about a year, but with this looming we had to find something for my husband to get in and out of easily. We spent 3 weeks back and forth with haggling salesmen at several large dealerships in the area. Then I came across this dealership and they had the exact vehicle we were looking for. The whole sales process was the easiest I have ever dealt with. T.J. and Toby did not know our story, but yet helped us more than they will ever know. To that I will forever be grateful. What a gem this dealership is. I recently bought a mini-van from Jayson at Durham Auto Mart. Extremely nice and professional guy. He did not try to pressure me or push me to buy anything. You can tell he actually cares about the people who come in to the dealership. This dealership has very high quality, clean cars at very fair prices. This isn't your typical sketchy, low quality "wheel and deal" used car dealership that I'm so used to dealing with. Jayson provided me everything I needed to make an informed and thought out decision without any pressure or "slick talk" on his part. I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this dealership, I'm glad I made the 1 hour trip out to Durhams auto mart. I am extremely pleased with the customer service I received before, during and even after I purchased my vehicle. I will be a customer for life, and I highly highly recommend checking these guys out if you're looking for a "carmax type experience" when buying a used car without the ridiculous prices and mark ups.
