nasty, hostile sales people - stay away

We went to buy a car from this place, and instead of being polite and explaining us all the options and answering our questions, Anthony and his manager Jimmy were really nasty, their answers were very rude, each question was answered in a way as if we asked them something outrageous. And the questions were, for example, what was their rate of financing, what was a difference between different but similar models, etc. The way they spoke to us, even the way how Anthony greeted us the moment we walked in (it was the second visit in a few months) was like they didn't want us there. Not to mention they had some false advertising about the financing interest rate as well as the car condition was misrepresented (we were told the car we came to buy had no accidents while an official report should a clear damage). Sure enough, we left without a car even though we were going to buy it this time for sure (sadly we had our second car broken yesterday so we were really pressured to buy it). So, if you want to get some nasty treatment, go visit them. Otherwise I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

As soon as my husband and I walked in the representatives were all very friendly. Jeremy was very accommodating and answered all questions we had. We went to a few other representatives that were taking care of different paperwork etc. They all work well as a team and kept us informed every step of the way and never left us waiting long. My husband and I got the Toyota RAV4 2020 and we absolutely love it!

Recently my wife and I were window shopping on Sunday at Island auto group Toyota. We really were not looking to buy right away ,we were just looking for a future purchase! However, the outstanding customer service and the fantastic deal that we received from salesmen Francis A. was so outstanding that we walked out with a New Toyota Tacoma truck,correction I, should say we drove off in a new Toyota Truck! The one! thing I loved most of all is that we were not pushed, rushed, or pressured into buying. So I would highly recommend Island Group Toyota to anyone looking, thinking about , or wanting to buy a Car, SUV, or Truck . my wife and I give them and our sales men 5 ***** Stars! Wanted to take a moment to personally acknowledge Spiro. He is an amanzing saleman. He took the time to go through the vehicle and explain how everything works. Extremely knowledgeable about he product and made the entire process a pleasure. Would also like to thank Angelo the general manager for an exceptional experience. It was a pleasure dealing with both of these people. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Everyone was very friendly and eager to help. My salesperson, Chris White, greeted me immediately and was very nice. He informed that I was his first customer so anything he didn't know, he would find out to get answers to my questions, and he was very helpful.

Everyone I encountered at Island Toyota always has a positive attitude, caring about every customer as if they are family. A special thank you to Mikey T, who was patient with me, understood my particular needs and wants, and talked freely and honestly about his love for his job. Mike will eventually be your number 1 sales professional, if he is not already. If he is not No. 1, you have a better than average sales staff. But then I think you already knew your sales staff is better than average.

Spiro is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable on the vehicles, very hands on and the ultimate customer sales person. He not only made it a piece of cake for me to trade in my 2012 4 Runner for a 2016, but I returned on Monday, 10-10 and he made it happen for my daughter with a lease. It's her very first vehicle so his handling and the way he treated her like an adult, so respectfully and not talking down to her made her first time experience amazingly wonderful. I cannot think him enough for that. As a business owner myself, I hope that you know exactly what you have with Spiro and Ali. Actually everyone was great but Spiro, he's a keeper.

Island Auto Group introduces our new initiative to bring awareness to local Staten Island causes. This includes creating vanity license plate frames for our employees and the public, available on September 18th. We've selected a charity to associate with each plate. When a customer picks their vanity plates, we will also make a $2 donation. Customers can get in on the action too! They will be able to interact with the plates and make their own contributions from the display cases set up in every Island Auto Group showroom.
