Thoroughbred Ford Service department was great!

I was headed to a funeral, and my head wasn't on my driving. I jumped a curb and blew out two tires. I looked up and I was across the street from Throughbred Ford. It was about 8:00 am. I called and asked if they could help me. When I got there, the tears started, because I was afraid I would miss the funeral of a dear friend. They first checked inventory and found they didn't have the tires my car needed. They called around and got them, John took me to pick them up and pay for them. When we got back, the damaged tires were off and ready for the new ones. They had me on my way within an hour and a half. I got there in time for the funeral, and although my heart was broken, it was also filled with the compassion and care and professionalism that was extended to me at Thoroughbred Ford during a very difficult time.

I had a continuing problem with a check engine lite on my F150. The was the 3rd dealer, including the one I purchased the truck from, and no one could find the cause. Your manager Eric, would not just turn out the lite. Him and technician Allen, who thinks outside the box to solve a problem. discovered the problem. It was due to a incorrect part given to me by another dealer. You folks are lucky to have Eric and Allen working for you. You will always have my business in the future. John Lancaster

Jeff at Thoroughbred Ford did a great job locating the truck that met our requirements. I were kind of picky as to the features we wanted and in most cases you would probably need to custom order our specs but they sorted through all of their sales sheets and found the one that fit our needs. The dealership was honest and straightforward in all aspects of the sale which has not always been our experience when purchasing a vehicle. Great truck, great price, great customer service.

My salesperson John Loewenstein was totally on top of what I needed.He was very attentive and very professional and made my buying experience comfortable and even authorized some additional concerns with my used car purchase after I had taken possession. There were some minor things I wanted looked at on my car and John made sure I could get my car in to service to check them. Also,the Service department was very professional and listened to my concerns about my car, assesses the needed repairs and explained to me exactly what was repaired.

I have had an issue with my climate control system, the problem is intermittent. I understand that it can be difficult to solve these type of issues. The staff at Thoroughbred Ford of Platte City have worked with me at every opportunity to resolve this issue. I would like to mention, in particular, David Henson. Brought my car in for an oil change, possible tire rotation and possible AC recharge. The boys gave it the "once over" and decided that I needed some new wipers and a filter for my cabin. They checked my AC, told me that, while I wasn't "perfect" on the temp generated, I was still in the mid-50's. I could choose to have my AC serviced, but should do well enough to finish out the summer. (And it's been HOT!) Jason (I hope I got the name correct) if he were like "some" mechanics/service managers, would have come right out and said, "You need to have the AC recharged" NOT given me all the info rather than 'hard selling'...that is what I really appreciate about T-Bred Ford Platte City....it's still about the customer, NOT the almighty dollar!
