Very rude and uninviting sales leadership

The end to end experience was really bad. Spent hours dealing with them for the delivery after a wait of 11 months. They made me feel like I was getting the car for free - very rude. Sales manager and Finance manager were not at all helpful and were really brash. I waited so long for this car and thus endured the trauma, dont think I would be back at this dealer.

Doesn’t hold their words

Long story short I bought a 4runner and it had a funky smell which was dog/cat pee before I knew what it was!! Asked the salesman if this odor was going to be removed and the car detailed. He said “yes it will be detailed outside of Toyota.” Got the SUV back and odor is still there and I bet they didn’t bring the SUV to a outside company to get it cleaned because the SUV still look like [non-permissible content removed] and there was chocolate all over the driver side visor mirror. I asked the salesman to at least fix the odor smell which is to remove the carpet and put new ones, the response I literally get is “we’ll look into and we’ll see what we can do” I literally hate this dealership. $43K SUV with pee odor and they don’t want to take care of this problem. All they want is just sales. The salesman name was Patrick.

Friendly and honest staff - very easy to work with

Very surprised Ford guy.

My sales guy Jim was great, very helpful and found the answer to any and all questions i came up with. He is definitely a guy you would hang out with, swap stories and maybe have a beer or 2. Same with Tim my finance guy, he also was very thorough and covered all the bases as far as what was right for me. I went in not expecting much as i was looking at a used ford Expedition Max and i was driving a ford F-150 pickup so i figured they wouldn't really work with me, well to my surprise I got a very fair purchase price on the expedition, and a great trade in price for my pickup. I will definitely be referring friends and family to Inver Grove Toyota.

Quick sale

I called on 2/27/23 looking for a new Corolla, Peter found an XSE in the color I wanted, for delivery in 2 weeks. When that shipment was delayed he found me an SE that I liked and I took delivery 2 weeks from my original call. Well done.

after horror show at another dealer, we felt welcomed

Everyone we worked with ( Randy W, Larry and Sally ) were very helpful and welcoming. We had just had a terrible experience at another dealer, where we thought we had a deal, then were given the run around, with evasive answers about the delay of three weeks, only to have the manufacturer pull the vehicle and we're still waiting for our deposit back. The folks at IG Toyota had a vehicle we liked , we agreed on a price we were happy with, and we were driving the vehicle the next day. I was there alone the first day, or I could have been driving off the lot the first day. We couldn't recommend them more highly

Steve "Step" found me a new Sienna when there were none to to be found

Finding a new Sienna in 2022 was not an easy task. But, Steve at Inver Grove Toyota found one that was not sold to anyone else and it fit my needs--and was available at the expected price. At my age, this may be the last vehicle I ever purchase and I wanted it to be the right one. Steve went thru all of the various models and helped me stay in budget while getting everything I wanted and more. And then, he was able to find it. I am very happy with my new Sienna and thanks to IGT and "Step" for making is all happen.

3 hours from viewing to sold!

Let me preface this with this: I absolutely HATE car dealers and the car buying experience. I’ve never had a good experience-until now. I messaged the dealer online on a 2021 Tacoma and Jim Hayes got back to me promptly. I made a verbal offer prior to coming in so I wouldn’t waste my time and Jim let me know that we might be able to work something out. The price was well under KBB value and there were no hidden fees like other dealers typically have. I am extremely happy with both Jim and my experience at Inver Grove Toyota. I will be referring any friends who are in the market. Thanks again!

Fanatical about the customer

Bryan and the sales team at Inver Grove Toyota is top notch. They were very easy to talk with and responded quickly to my questions over email. While they did offer me financing, accessories, and other addons, they did not try to push them once I declined. They also did not try to pull any tricks on me or deceive me in any way, and they actually went above and beyond to make my experience very pleasant. I will definitely be back when I am looking for another Toyota in the future!

Tried to strong arm me to pay cash after I waited 2 months for vehicle

I had a very poor experience at this dealership. I reserved a new Highlander and the lead time was about 2 months. The plan was to finance the vehicle. The day the vehicle arrived, the sales person (Peter Ihle) told me that I had to pay cash and couldn't finance. He said either wire them cash from my bank or he will cancel the sale and refund my deposit. He said I couldn't finance since I was out of state and they couldn't title the vehicle because of my states rules. I spoke with my state and found out there was a way to title the vehicle and the dealership just wouldn't. The sales manager (Greg G.) then said that since they couldn't title the vehicle they wouldn't accept a check from my bank because they said the bank would come after them if I didn't title the vehicle properly. After conferring with my bank we called Greg G. and told him the bank would come after me, not the dealership. Greg G. then changed his story and said they can't accept checks from banks because they're unsafe and can be canceled. I argued with Greg/Peter for about a week and finally escalated to the GM who said of course we accept bank checks and there was no titling issue. Overall I had a very poor experience and wasted many hours arguing over a very simply and straight forward transaction.

Worse Service

This is worse service center, I have been this couple of times for oil change of my car, as I shows their offer, still they consider higher rates for oil change. recently I went for oil change, and serive guy did bad job and broke it, oil was leaking down my car, I have inform them so they asked me to visit again, and then they said there is no engine oil leak.then later told me to change OIL PAN it will cost $750 plus but they suggest me other leakage and it cost me more than $2300. total cost more than $3000+, it's thief dealer and service center. I told them its because serivce guy broke something and they need to fix this, but the guy just said sorry it's appology but no fixing. Do we need to change oil ourself or visit thief dealer who charge for oil change plus break cars to get our money.
