Chloe Ford + Heritage Honda = Best car buying experience ever

Deer-1, Subaru-0 = Find a new car. We spent about three weeks, first researching, then visiting dealerships to sit in a variety of cars, and then visiting again to test drive, narrowing the field each step of the way. Once we'd settled on a Honda Pilot, we emailed 7 dealerships within about a 2-hour drive in two states for their best offers. Chloe Ford, at Heritage Honda, was, by far, the most responsive, thorough, careful, and transparent salesperson we encountered. Having been burned by a Kia dealership in Harrisonburg, Va. four years ago, I asked a LOT of questions, I questioned fine print, I checked and double-checked everything, I told her exactly what we wanted and what we didn't want. Every day for a solid workweek, Chloe answered multiple emails a day; she was patient, answered each question with friendliness and honesty, and never once tried to slip in some upcharge for random "dealer-installed" wheel locks or appearance packages, or ceramic coating, or anything else we didn't want. She did the extra legwork of getting extended warranty and financing info we wanted from the finance department without hassle or run-around. Heritage Honda's ePrice and processing fees were the lowest of the 7 dealerships we emailed. Sure, we did our part to let them know we were real people and serious about this buy, and they were willing to trust us and give us everything we needed ahead of time to plan for a two-hour drive (each way) and leave the dealership within 2 hours with our new Pilot. Manager Ken and finance guy Lyle were also terrific. What is usually one of the most painful experiences in adulthood was delightfully pleasant (and when you're spending that kinda money, you want to feel good about it afterward). I would absolutely turn to Heritage Honda FIRST next time I'm in the market for a new car.

Honda in Westminster is a great dealership. Chloe F. Is an incredible salesperson! She is caring and concerned about the customers needs. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Chloe and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new Honda. I travel many extra miles, past other dealers, to purchase from Honda In Westminster. Chloe is a big part of why it is worth the drive!

I recently visited Heritage Honda In Westminster Maryland for the first time! I was able to work with Chloe Ford (digital sales expert). She was an absolute pleasure! Chloe is extremely patient, I never felt pressured to make a decision, and most importantly, a professional - who knows the car business inside and out. Because if that I did decide on a car to buy. The buying process was only a hand-full of days….from the first day I found the dealership online…to Chloe reaching out to me and lastly to several days later when I made the car purchase. The best part of process was the day of purchase – Chloe literally made me feel like “family” the entire time which only made the buying experience even more enjoyable. She is so kind and caring. I highly recommend you talk to Chloe if you are considering buying a new or previously owned automobile. I would also like to give a shout out to John/sales manager and Warren/finance manager….they about and beyond in their professionalism and help!

Great Service!

Such a great experience. I came in just to explore cars and ended up leaving with a brand new CRV 5 days later. I could not have asked for a better sales consultant. Chandra was amazing from day one and helped me throughout the week. She eased my mind and help me with my purchase. I will definitely continue to be Honda customer for a long time.

6th time is the charm

The salesman Eyo Nkonghoetaka was patient and informative. I was looking for a 2023 Honda Pilot Elite. That was harder to make happen than I expected. It took over 5 weeks for Heritage to obtain the SUV I wanted. I want to thank the salesman Eyo and sales manager Justin Chenoweth for their hard work and patiently putting up with me. PS..the Pilot is beautiful. I like it.

Vacation saved!

The evening before we are leaving for our beach vacation (an 8 hour drive), my tire goes flat! I arrived about 20 minutes before the service department is going to close. Annie in service is there to help me. Jake comes over to assess my tire and he finds two objects that have punctured my tire! So a plug may not work. They had the tire in stock that we needed!! Jake came in earlier than his scheduled shift they next morning so we could get on the road for our vacation! I am so thankful that they were there to help and he went above and beyond to get the work done so that we didn’t get in the highway much later than we originally planned. I will definitely be back to have my vehicle serviced her with them! Kudos to Annie and Jake- thanks again!!

Superb service!

My favorite place to take care of my car so far – very comfy waiting area with plenty workspace to land with your laptop and seating for those watching TV. Poor Communication and Accountability

This complaint is focused on poor communication and accountability by the car dealership. I purchased a new Honda civic from this dealership in JAN2021 and had an excellent buying experience but unfortunately things went downhill since then. I was given temporary license plate tags and as we approached tag expiration date, I reached out to the dealership four times via email, both to the salesperson (John Mohlhenrick) who sold me the vehicle and the general manager (Robert Lee) without any response. Only after calling the dealership to speak with multiple managers was a response eventually provided within several days. I was assured my Mr. Lee internal actions would be taken to prevent recurrence. I recently emailed both Mr. Mohlhenrick and Mr. Lee with another inquiry but have not heard back and it has been over 2 weeks. Due to the poor communication and lack of accountability with consumers who purchase over $21k from a private business, I do not recommend you buy your car from this dealership for the risk that you will also be dismissed once you have made your payment. Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call to the dealership to take consumer inquiries more seriously and have greater pride in the work that they do. I have submitted a complaint with BBB and look forward to hearing from the dealership.

Well Spend $2k and it’s not fixed

Well the car wouldn’t start after replacing the starter when they returned to me so they took it back and got it started, no problems there since. Also, had the A/C repaired, new condenser, it worked for a week now blowing hot air again. So that was my experience. We’ve bought two cars there and recommended our in laws to buy there too. That won’t be happening again.

No ethics when inventory is low

Our family has purchased several vehicles from this dealership and we were astonished at the poor treatment we received today. We decided on the vehicle we were going to purchase and began the negotiation process. The manager offered us a price for the vehicle and while we were discussing another sales agent took the keys to "show a buyer a feature." We accepted the offer and our saleswoman went to her manager. She came back and said that offer is no longer available and offered us a mush higher monthly payment and down payment. Clearly they had sold the car to some one else and didn't care that they had offered it to us.

Smooth Car Buying Experience

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Felker at Heritage Honda Westminster during the purchase of this latest vehicle. Our entire process took 1 month. However this is only because we switched from being interested in one car to another. From deciding on buying an Accord to signing on the dotted line 7 days passed. Chis is a no BS dealer and that is fantastic. He was attentive to and straightforward with all of my inquiries and requests about trying the get the right car for me. Chris is also one of the most knowledgeable dealers about his products we have ever dealt with. Most dealers BS the information about the car or make claims that I know to be false, never the case here. Furthermore Chris and Heritage of Westminster offer some of the most competitive pricing available. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our experience here and recommend this dealership and Chris.

Great experience at Heritage Honda - Westminster!

My husband and I had a great experience purchasing our vehicle at Honda Heritage in Westminster. We drove over an hour to look at a pre-owned vehicle that we were interested in trading with our Jeep. Immediately, we were welcomed by friendly faces and were put at ease. This was important because we had a negative experience elsewhere at a different dealership earlier that day. We worked with Leslie Hale and she was phenomenal! She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the car we looked at. It was a pleasure to work with her. She truly cared about our experience and our needs/wishes. She answered all of our questions and patiently walked us through each step of the process. She was professional, yet down-to-earth, approachable, and had a great sense of humor. If you are looking for a pre-owned vehicle at this dealership, come find Leslie! We also met Brent and he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and great to work with as well! Though we live over an hour away, we would not hesitate to come back to this location again in the future!

Tremendous buying experience

I shopped 4 different dealers and this is the only place that was always "leading" with creative ways to get to my price. I was amazed at the level they went and the effort they took - even though I had told them late in the process I was going with another salesperson/dealer that I had a relationship with. At the last hour I realized - these guys in Westminster (namely Alex) have been the ones coming up with all the numbers for the others to beat. The other ones were just saying "we can match that" - and that it. So I went to Alex and made the buy. I am super happy. (Honda Accord Sport 2.0T ).

Straightforward and knowledgeable

We had a great experience with Nathan, and Heritage of Westminster. After emailing several dealerships for quotes, they came in with a very reasonable price. We decided to go with another dealership who promised 400 less but lo and behold when we went there, they tried to bait and switch. So we left and called Nathan who helped us finalize our purchase. He was always straightforward, concise and succinct and was great to work with. Plus my kids took to him so that's always a good sign ;) Great experience and will definitely go back/refer friends/family. Love my new Honda Pilot.
