Euro Motorcars - Above and Beyond

by Bill on 04/19/2021

We recently purchased a 2020 MB Sprinter Van 2500 thru Euro Motorcars, our salesman, Luis Mendoza went above and beyond to locate a cargo van. He was extremely dedicated in getting us what we wanted and the entire process went extremely well. Highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle to contact Luis - he will find what you need - if it exists.

Finally! Someone wants to sell me a car!

by PMVA on 02/19/2021

I have been in the market to replace my ML400 and was looking to upgrade to a GLE AMG53. I have done my homework and know what I want and quickly learned that I would have to order. I dealt with a number of dealers and sales people (including someone else at this dealership) in my attempts to buy a car, but they either: were non-responsive, wanted to sell me something I don't want, evaded my questions, ghosted me, etc. I love my MB and was hoping to get another one, but it got to the point that I was contemplating switching makes. I finally reached out to Danny Nasr. He was extremely responsive, professional, answered my questions, and provided helpful information. We ironed out my build within a day, and he offered a fair price. I should get my car in in a few months. No games. Done!

Poor Product or Poor Service ... or Both?

by Mark C on 02/28/2020

My wife and I recently purchase a brand new G Wagon from EuroMotorcars in Bethesda. The transaction went smoothly and Edwin did a nice job of making us feel comfortable. 100ish miles into the purchase the transmission failed, putting my wife in peril. Luckily she avoided any sort of catastrophe and the car was taken to Euro for service. We are almost 4 weeks into the problem and Euro has still not fixed the car. They are waiting for "guidance" from Mercedes in Germany. The worst part of the entire fiasco is the entire Euro management team seems unconcerned by this ... as if this was commonplace for Euro. Phone calls/Voicemals have gone unanswered. Charlie Rouse, our service tech, has been a gentleman and a fine professional but that can not mask the incompetence of both the service department and management team. They will be happy to take your $, good luck after that.

Excellent sales experience

by marylander3 on 01/12/2014

My sales experience was utterly pressure free. I got to do a long test drive, and after the deal was done (over $1000 cheaper than competing area dealers) got them to agree to waive the entire upsell finance nonsense (rust-proofing, dent protection, etc.) just by telling them in advance that I didn't want anything. I was out of the dealership in one hour. Salesman was very knowledgeable and offer to come to my home to get the garage door opener synced. Plus they are Checkbook magazine's choice for the best spot in the nation to buy the factory extended warranty. I very highly recommend them.

Fast communication, very competitive pricing

by marylander3 on 01/04/2014

They were the first to contact me after my Edmunds query, and their pricing was the best of all. They even traded for the car I wanted without having any assurance at all that I would buy it. I did end up purchasing a new GLK250 Bluetec, for considerably LESS than the Edmunds quote, and am very happy I dealt with this dealership.

Wonderful Sales Experience Courtesy of John Johnston and Randy Merry

by reece24 on 12/22/2011

I am a young, female professional who purchased my first Mercedes Benz (C250) on 11/23/2011 from Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, MD. I would describe my buying experience as fun, easy, and satisfying (so I guess you can say I lucked up as I know these words are not often used to describe ones encounter at a dealership). Prior to my arrival, I must admit that I was nervous on how I would be treated. I know this may sound sinister, but I’ve read several articles online that describe how the main objective of all dealers is to “get over” as much as possible. Well, let me be the first to tell you, that John Johnston (Internet Salesman) and Randy Merry (General Sales Manager) treated me with the upmost respect and quickly laid all of my fears to rest. I arrived approximately 30 minutes early, but to my surprise, John didn’t seem to mind. He took me to his office and we began to talk about the car. One of the things that impressed me about John was that he was interested in me as a person. He asked me several questions which helped put me at ease, and when it came time for negotiations, he was fair, honest, and upfront. Randy Merry was also a pleasure to deal with. He added an extra incentive on top of the already stellar price John was offering me. They really gave me an offer I could not refuse. I purchased the car on the spot not only because of the stellar price, but because of their OUTSTANDING customer service. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. Bethesda Euro Motorcars has earned, in me, a customer for life. If you or a family member are looking to purchase a Mercedes Benz, I HIGHLY recommend Bethesda Euro Motorcars. [Phone contact deleted]

Good purchase experiece with this dealer

by frank166 on 10/28/2011

The sales person is very efficient, courtious and reasonable. We settled on basic price range whithin hours of back and force communication because I tried to decide several option choices. When we got to the dealership next day, the sales person patiently showed us the color and seating options we had question about. We ordered car becasue there was no inventory for the color we want. The total time spent on the dealership is about 1 and half hours. Hopefully we will like the car when we get it in November.

Elenora Dean

by pearlcar on 02/28/2011

I must say I was not impressed when I was left standing for several minutes after approaching the receptionist desk on my first visit to this dealer. Several staff were busy talking to one another and I finally had to ask if anyone was going to help me. This really turned me off. BUT, once I got to Elenora Dean the overall experience improved significantly. She listened to my needs, made recommendations that made sense, and was patient as I worked through the process of selecting color and features. She responded to all of my inquiries in a timely manner and made trading in my vehicle an easy process. This was a special transaction as it marks a significant birthday. I'm glad Elenora bailed out her colleagues and treated me the way I hoped I would be treated by a Mercedes dealer! Thanks Elenora!

Horrible Experience

by maxime_kefa on 09/02/2010

I have shopped cars for 20 years. But the experience I had early this year with Euro Motor Cars, Bethesda, is simply HORRIBLE. Their salespeople are [violative content deleted] and untrained, or poorly trained. Their service personnel constantly display an arrogant attitude. I only remember one African American employee who showed courtesy. Service is uncharacteristically slow. Now, about their sales people. I can sum up their attributes as follows: Dishonest like little [violative content deleted]. Their managers are arrogant and lack the fundamentals of customer service. They do not seem to realize that the customer is doing them a favor by buying their car! Instead, they think that they are doing you a favor. Remembering everything these people subjected to, even today disgusts and sickens me. They are so dishonest that if you are buying a used car, make sure you have it assessed first. Admittedly, I did not do that.out of trust. They would do anything to cheat on your trade! The car I bought, a C300, though new, had a damaged seat. Their cars are outrageously expensive!!! Plus, the information gthey post online about their cars is not always accurate! The salesperson knew about it but never told me. Since it was night, I did not noticed until days later. And they were not willing to fix it. I had to fight. Even then, it was another dealership that fixed that free of charge! They gave me a wrong Operator Manual. It took more than one month for them to order the correct one. And I had to complaint to their senior managers! There are other issues I'd rather keep for now. But I may consider launching a class action against this dealership. Bottom line is, I will not recommend anyone to do business with this dealership. Unless their senior management takes the appropriate steps to clean the dealership, at best fire these [violative content deleted], or institute a customer service training as well as an Integrity Training, and make both mandatory from top-down, it would be a high risk for people to do business with Euro Motor Cars of Bethesda.

2007 ML 320 CDI

by e111n on 09/28/2007

I purchased this car last year, and the whole finance processing took half a day to be completed, although it was a simple cash sales.....with no financing haggling and processing per say. Also, I had to wait longer to get the car cleaned prior to delivery, as my sales person did not coordinate with the service department. In the end, 4 days later, I had to schedule an appointment, as the new car that was delivered actually had 2 bumps on the hood panel they had to fix. All in all, this was a poor performance......for a $55000 car purchase! Beware...they do not treat you that well.....Also in the past year, no phone call to check whether we liked the car.....really not professional!
