It was just a routine service-oil change and tire rotation, plus a check of the electronics. It was my first service on my new Outback. This new car, my first in 7 years, took some getting used to. Subaru has patiently, and repeatedly, explained the new safety features. Most problems are user error.

$40 miscellany screw you charge!!!

Stay away from services there! !!! You will see a $40 on every bill that you get for miscellaneous garage supplies (paper towels, gloves, grease, etc.). No matter what the service is, you will always see a $40 charge for; nothing tied to anything that was used, if anything at all. Bet every bill has $40 charge on it, but no idea what was used. Take one paper towel, $40. One squirt of grease, $40. Wash your hands w/ soap, $40. Worst dealership that I have dealt with for service in the 15 years that I have owned my vehicle. Won't take my car there again!!!!

The deal came with its hiccups as the car I originally put money down on came in as the wrong color, but they honored the entire deal and worked to gain my trust back. It is the first time that I have purchased a vehicle where they called and messaged to check in on me to see if they could help after the deal was done. Excellent customer service!!

Service was performed well, although no up-front cost estimate was given. Admittedly, I didn't ask… One of those rare occasions when a normal service (checkup,engine & transaxel oil, valve cleaning) actually produced a quieter car.
