Tri County Collision Review

Completely satisfied with my experience with Tri County Ford Collision Center. The technician, Eric, disassembled the car promptly and further inspected with complete accuracy. And Eddie, the Service Advisor/Adjuster was fantastic as well in relaying updates to me as often as changes occurred. The vehicle ended up being totaled, and they made sure that went smoothly as well. Everything was great.

2014 Explorer

On the mechanic side: you need more mechanics. The wait for service is unreasonable. I called June 30 and could not get my truck in until July 18 -- nearly three weeks! That's a long time for a major service issue. The service I received apparently is fine as the wheel hasn't fallen off - yet - and was completed in a timely manner. On the service side: I was unequivocably disrespected by my service advisor. [I think you should call him a service secretary if all he does is set up appointments. Has he ever even been a mechanic??] Back story: I live in Jeff and have a seasoned mechanic in a small shop who works on my vehicle when I need. He is always respectful and honest with me. I started coming to Tri-county for a recall issue when I worked in Oldham. In this particular situation I got a strange noise the day before leaving on vacation. My mechanic looked at my car, fixed a broken tie rod and told me I had a bad wheel bearing and not to drive my truck to Florida. I called Tri-C when I returned. I had looked up wheel bearings on Ford.com. When asked why I thought it was a wheel bearing I told the secretary what my mechanic said and the noise it was making and his response was that a wheel bearing didn't make that noise in his experience. When I told him that was not the information from the FMC, he just scoffed and wrote check for noise in right rear wheel on my account. When I brought the truck in he said, "oh, the wheel bearing???" condescendingly. When he called to tell me I had a bad wheel bearing, he was very subdued. He was not there when I picked up my truck. I think the Tri-county team can do a lot better serving your customer base; I'm assuming many of whom are women. Your service advisors/secretaries could use some education with customer service skills. This was not the first time I've had one be condescending. This truck is my third Explorer and it will be my last. You need to do something with your online accounting of progress on service as it did not say my truck was finished until the afternoon of the day after I picked it up. Thank you.

The Works plus brake fluid flush for my F-150

Called on Thursday for an appointment the following Monday. Dropped the truck off in the morning and Tri-County took me home in their shuttle. The service was completed by mid-afternoon. My wife ran me up there and I was out in 5 minutes.

Jon Hehelman kept me updated as to every test they put my car through to find out exactly what was causing the problem. Very cautious in finding the main trouble instead of just putting on costly parts that may not of been the major trouble. Rick Soards also a great person to work with. So many codes were coming up they could not commit to a certain length of time in their service. Very well explained as to the length of time the car would be there. Have to say kudos to all of them.

Best Dealership service in the region

I've been going to Tri-County Foord for service on my various Ford vehicles for 10 years now. They are a locally owned, small town dealership with old school principals. The service dept is consistently courteous, informed, experienced and does excellent work. This dealership cares about the customer experience, not just selling cars. Their service advisors don't try to up-sell you with parts or repairs that aren't critical to safety and performance of your vehicle. I highly recommend Tri-County for all your Ford sales and service needs.

2015 Edge

Took my Edge in to get 3 recalls repaired. I wanted to get an oil leak looked at as well. I figured I'll get the oil changed as well while it's there. Wife had to borrow a car to get to work where car was getting service. Dropped my car off the night before. I got a call the next day saying their mechanic called in and nothing got done except the oil change. They told me I had to bring the car back another day and hopefully they will have a mechanic that day. What kind of service is that? I get things happen but I felt like they can work with me better to try and fix their wrong. Plus I paid about $30 more for their oil change then normal. Total waste of time and this isn't the first time I had issues with Tri County service. Probably going elsewhere next time

I recently took my Lincoln MKZ to Tri County ford in Buckner For recall on the driver side airbag. The work was performed the same day. Mike, the service adviser, had the customer service driver bring me home while the work was being done,then picked me up when finished. I could not ask for better service.
