Administrative paperwork was disappointing

Getting to an agreement on price and vehicle was fast and pleasant- 90 minutes. Waiting to complete the deal - Unpleasant Waited almost 3 hours to complete paperwork. It appeared that since we were not going to use Ford credit, we were served last.

I have been trying to get the fleet truck (Mike Cross or Warren Wolaver ) to contact me for over a week ,still no phone call or email as promised . It appears that they have more buyer than they can take care of.

Nightmare Dealership

If you are doing your research on dealerships, do not take your business to Larry H. Miller Ford in Lakewood, CO. They are [non-permissible content removed]. They are the definition of slimy salesmen/women and dealership in general. The staff is unprofessional. They are sneaky and deceitful. I bought a pick up from them. It was a good deal that the sales manager agreed too. We signed the contract and left with our new purchase. A week went by and we started getting threatening phone calls about how they need a down payment. Every time they would call they would increase the amount first $3800 then $4500. We already had the loan approved. It was questionable to say the least. A week later....Threats to call the cops and get the pick-up repossessed and throw us in jail...To find out they had a customer come in there that was looking for the same pick up and was willing to pay way over MSRP. They were hoping they could bully us enough to bring the truck back, hoping we didn't have the unnecessary "down payment" and then turn around and sale it as a demo. They went to distance to harass us. It was a nightmare. Buying a vehicle is supposed to be a good thing and they made it miserable. You never know they may sell you something and call wanting it back. Save your time, money and sanity and go elsewhere.. I wish I would of. (After finally being able to talk to the GM, endless phone calls and voice mails he supposedly had no idea what his employees had been up to. We ended up with the pick-up and the same agreement. Complete waste of time.)

Benchmark for Excellence and mutual trust and respect? I think not!!

After reading Larry H Miller's mission statement I thought I should share my experience. I started out emailing for information on a Mustang I was interested in. It was close to closing time so I received the information about the pricing the following morning. I was emailed what the price would be by the Internet Manager, Lawrence Bradshaw. So, I made the 65 mile drive from Loveland to their Lakewood location. Met a nice, young salesman named Andrew. He was quite helpful in showing us the vehicle. I decided that I would go through with the purchase based on the information and price I had received via email from Lawrence Bradshaw. We sat down to do the paperwork and initially Andrew came back with a price about $5000 more than quoted price. I showed him my email quote from Lawrence Bradshaw so he went back to see what could be done. Andrew brought Lawrence back to meet with me. His first reaction was to say he misquoted the price. That he had a "fat finger" when typing the email. That excuse didn't make sense since earlier that morning I was rechecking the quote and as I was doing so the price changed while I was looking at their website. I believe it was because of all the interest I was showing for the vehicle. Lawrence's next excuse was that Ford's rebates had all of a sudden changed. Which wasn't true either. The quote which was about $5000 higher than my original email quote, had the manufacturer's original rebate offered of $2500. So how could that change in 5 minutes?! It didn't. Along with the previous challenge, there were $2100 in options that I had never discussed nor did I want. In their mission statement, they say that they are a Benchmark for Excellence and that they believe in mutual trust and respect. In my experience this afternoon, I received neither. I have no idea who Larry H Miller is, but I believe he should be looking for a new Internet Manager. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. William Mauser

No integrity

Their sales managers have no integrity. We agreed on a price for a new car and then test drove. On returning and ready to sign paperwork, the sales manager said he could not sale us the car for the agreed price. When questioned him, he responded "I never agree to that price"-my wife and I both were amazed because we both heard the same thing. We left. In my 50 plus years I have dealt with a number car dealerships but I have never been blatantly lied to so this is my worst car buying experience ever.

Exceptional Service

We have purchased our last two vehicles from Lakewood Ford. The process was easy and we were taken care of throughout our entire visit. We left with brand new vehicles and received more than we were expecting for our trade ins. We are from out of state and will make the trip back to Lakewood Ford when we are ready to buy again. Our daughter is hoping to purchase a new ford next year and will travel to Lakewood for her new vehicle.

Was told on the lot

I noticed 2, 2016 Ford Focus ST's on their website, and Truecar.com. Did the whole truecar thing, and called this morning and talked to a Salesman by the name of Christian at 9 a.m. Asked if the cars were available and on the lot. He said yes they both were there and he'd pull them up front for me. I said great, since I'm in Fort Collins, 125 miles away, that I would be in by noon. I head there, my phone is blowing up with numerous dealers trying to sell me a car. Turns out 2 hrs later they leave me a voicemail when I'm nearly there at 11:00 saying they didn't have the cars. Then a few minutes later I get a voicemail from a Sales Manager confirming my appointment to see the 2 cars they had already sold. I get there and find out they don't have the cars. I was not overly impressed by their reaction to my issue. Figuring they would step up to the plate, but again disappointed. So I left after a poor appraisal of my low mileage trade.

Made it right

Often times when a person or family goes into a dealership it almost always seems to be a bad experience not matter what happens. I bought my first Ford from Larry Miller in Salt Lake 20+ years ago and went back to them today because I like the look of the fords now a days. When I went into the dealership the folks knew that I was not happy with my first trip into the dealership and I called them and talked with some folks about my first experience. Needless to say I had one person and spent maybe an hour in there and I walked out with a new ford. Thank you Larry Miller.

New edge for Christmas

We were recieved by the the Larry Miller dealership with warmth by Randolf, a salesman, and he worked with us to get the perfect SUV. We were impressed by his knowledge and friendlyness, and we purchesed our new Edgd with which we are delighted!

Faith Restored in Customer Service

I want to thank Chris Gasser, Todd Hoskins and Jake for taking excellent care of my daughter and working with us to resolve a very stressful and expensive issue with her car. Although we started out on with a very upsetting situation with the repair that was performed on her Ford Edge, Chris the Service Manager worked with us to make things right. With the help of Todd and Jake, they were able to take the Edge off of her hands and put my daughter into a more reliable car with a great warranty package. Todd was able to work out a wonderful deal with some rebates that will hopefully get her through college and beyond without having to worry when her car will break down again and how much it will cost to get it fixed...again. I want to thank you for taking a bad situation and turning it around into more than we expected. You have restored my faith in what excellent customer service should be!
