New 2024 Lexus SUV Purchase

2 issues with dealer: Dealer should not let customer drive off site without first making sure phone is properly paired with new car, and review of basic features. There are safety and liability issues associated with new automated car features, such that if buyer is unaware could cause an accident. This item was address by dealer sending a sales rep out to buyers house to review features and answer questions. Waited 4 hours to buy new car, this was after a good faith deposit was left to hold a car in transit and discussions with sales rep over a period of 2 weeks about financing options and trade in. The only thing left to discuss at time of sale was trade in price. Should not have taken an additional 4 hours to complete sale.

Poor sales experience

I am a repeat customer at Cerritos AutoNation and was happy to deal with them again. When communicating with internet sales, I was sent incorrect quotes. While it was an innocent mistake by Cerritos, my wife and I were mislead thinking we were being offered a car that was not the car we wanted. We went down to Cerritos in anticipation of purchasing and was told, sorry it was a mistake and there wasn't any attempt to make amends to sell me a car. We went down to buy a car. I then had to ask for a manager and explain our situation, he finally made an attempt to make amends for the mistake and we purchased the car that we wanted. Later the salesperson told us there would be a follow up on her evaluation and in return, I would receive a full tank of gas upon completion. I have not heard from her and I have also reached out to her. Is there anyone going to follow up with me? Or is this the only attempt to find out how things are going with the car? I am disappointed as we didn't receive the expected higher level of service that Lexus or AutoNation likes to market itself. I really like the car but the experience was less than desirable. I am disappointed but know that your staff can do better. I am hesitant to inform you but you have asked for my honest opinion. Hope this will help you improve your service in a difficult economic environment. Regards

They match the best offer I received for the car I was trading in and worked with me significantly on price! Overall it was a decent experience and I would come back again. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is due to the entire process taking significantly longer than it should have (avg. for car purchase is 2-3 hours, this took 5 hours), as well as my plug in hybrid did not come with the charging cable which costs me roughly $300.

Not the customer service I'm used to

The day I purchased my NX450H+, my boyfriend also purchased a Lexus Certified Used ES300h. We were at the dealership from 11:00am to 11:15pm that evening. The dealership was extremely busy due to the end of the year sales. We did come home for a couple of hours to have dinner then returned to the dealership so he could meet with the Finance representative to complete his purchase. Our overall sales experience was satisfactory. The sales representative was knowledgeable, courteous and most helpful. Also, the Finance representative took the time to make sure I understood the financial paperwork for my purchase. Where the dealership has failed is in the area of follow-up. I was told by the sales representative that the best method of communicating with her was by text message. I have sent her 3 text messages and have never received a response to my question, I also met with a representative in the Service Dept. on an issue related to the RX350 that I currently own. He was going to follow-up with their outside vendor and get back to me. Since I didn't hear from him, I've left four phone messages over a two week period and have never received a return phone call. It has been over a month. I'm very disappointed in the service I've received after purchasing my vehicle. I've owned three other Lexus vehicles which were all purchased from another dealership. Because they didn't have the vehicle I was looking for, AutoNation recommended Cerritos Lexus. I assumed I would receive the same quality service as I did from my previous dealership. Sadly, I was wrong.

My internet sales person, Max was great. Took great care every step of the process. They did have the firm no haggle pricing, although I did try to pry it.
