Our Hyundai Sonata LTD's retail value exceeded the residual value and because we loved it so much, we decided to buy it. This was the third Sonata that we leased from Julian at Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale and he and dealer management went the extra mile to get us very competitive financing without fees that beat out two other financing offers. While the loan process was challenging, it was faster and easier than dealing with remote lenders. Thank you Hyundai North Scottsdale!

My 1st few service experiences were very poor. Damage to my brand new car. Said services were performed and were not. Management was understanding but issues continued. Then I transferred service to San Tan, they were good, but not entirely honest about my service and I lived 25 miles + away and had to make several trips to take care of a recall issue because they had no parts, but neglected to tell me that after my service appt. Now I am back at Ernhardt Scottsdale and have a new service advisor who is Ex Military and has reassured me if absolutely anything goes wrong he wants to know about it right away. I have complete trust and respect for Michael! He took care of me when my A/C went out at 9am, it was 118 degrees phx,az and the mechanics were an amazing team. They came together to figure out what happened to my car, one wasn't even working on my car, walked by and said instantly what the issue was. I was so absolutely grateful for all of their hard work it took 6 hours, and I drove home nice and cold! Michael has taken customer care to the next level, he listens and speaks with a calm but friendly manner, treats you like family. He is very knowledgeable in his position and knowledge of cars is very extensive. I will continue to bring my service back to this dealership. I have renewed trust.

Cody was wonderful to work with

I brought my car in for a repair recall and was very pleased to meet Cody in the Service Dept. He was very nice to work with - the wait time was reasonable and it was an overall pleasant experience. I hope to see Cody again whenever I bring my car back in for service.

This dealership, once very good, appears to have virtually stopped servicing autos. Today, August 10 2023, I made an appointment to correct a serious safety issue with our 2018 Sonata, and the EARLIEST date available for service was OCTOBER 23, 2023. How is this even allowed?

Tires Plus

Had my first set of Kumho tires installed on my 2020 Santa Fe. After looking at the "tire market" I decided to purchase the tires have Earnhardt N. Scottsdale install them. Working with Micheal Southern and Ben Girard they provided a competitive price and continued their "best practices" for the Earnhardt organization installing the tires and also my scheduled oil change. The ride is terrific with the newly installed tires and the wheel alignment that was performed. I can't thank both Micheal and Ben enough for their continued great care and service I received.

Team Awesome 100%

My past car buying narrative has been one of high anxiety, frustration, anger and tears. Fast forward to Chris Climenson at Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale. I started my inquiry online and Chris was the "first responder". Awesome on top of awesome. I knew the car I wanted, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and Chris moved forward on my behalf like lightening. From the beginning I was met with respect, professionalism and a lot kindness, understanding and patience. He earned my confidence quickly with each step because he always kept his word. He stayed in communication with me, he responded to my questions knowledgably and not "over my head", he was patient with my concerns and I honestly at times felt like I was his only customer. The Tucson Hybrid I learned is a highly sought after car but Chris not only produced what I asked for but more! What! Yes! He walked me through the whole process from A to Z without missing a beat. When it was time for my car to come home, not only was it delivered to my door, but by Chris (roughly 120 miles) personally. That is excellent service! But wait there's more, Chris spent patient time showing me different features, and giving me info of his own experience to help me with my Tucson and even setting up the garage door opener and syncing my phone. I could not have asked for a better dealership than Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale and Chris as the person who would make my life good and yes, even restore my faith in the car buying process. Wow. Purchasing a car is the second most expensive purchase many people will make and it can be a difficult process. So if you want a fantastic car, a fantastic car dealership and a more than fantastic person that will be helping you to achieve your goal of car ownership, then Chris is the man! All in all, I would Super Highly recommend Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale and Chris Climenson! I have absolutely no dislikes and I couldn't be happier!

No service

Took my car in early in the morning to try to get my looked over because my handle broke and wasn’t really helped at all. I felt the greeter was a little rude and didn’t even bother getting a service writer to come help me and insisted on me going to the website to book an appointment. He also said all service writers were busy and i saw a few just sitting at their desk.

Cool SUV

Our salesman Eric was great. He was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He told us things that didn’t make make sense that dealers try and sell you. The process was mostly efficient but at times there was down time. Typical try to sell you extras in finance but not overly pushy. They were up front about pricing. At times they move numbers around for their purposes but when I questioned them they were always able to show me what they were doing. Overall a great experience and good dealership

Very Nice Experience

My husband and I had a genesis G70 but it was small for us. We went to look at the new GV70 SUV and fell for it. It is just the right size and has all the bells and whistles we need. Our salesman Todd answered every question and made the buying process simple.

Oil changed with car wash. Had some residual left in our Santa Fe. Earnhardt took the vehicle back in immediately, changed the oil again at no charge. That is great service.

Towed and Repaired in hours

I had a really great experience working with the Servicing team to repair my Hyundai Sonata today. My car would not start last night and I was able to quickly coordinate a Tow truck to come to my home early this morning. Upon arriving, my car appeared to be functional again and I could not show the tow truck driver the problem that the car was having. Regardless, he was still willing to bring the car to the dealership and once it got there it broke down and would not start. I received a call from Justin Shecton from the servicing team and he was extremely professional and honest about the situation. We were likely looking at needing 10 days just to have the car diagnosed with how backed up the repair/servicing side of the business is right now and Hyundai would not provide a rental car for me until the problem was diagnosed and determined to be covered under my warranty. This was very difficult to accept and Justin could tell that it would have been extremely hard for me to go on without my car for that long. Justin was solution oriented the whole time and under promised and over delivered every step of the way. He told me he would see if there was any way at all that we could get around the 10 days and a couple hours later he had managed to have a technician look at my car, diagnose the problem, and begin completing the repair (the car needed to have a fuel pump replaced). By noon my car was repaired and all of the work was covered under my warranty so I did not have to spend a penny. This was a miracle to be able to get my car back so quickly and Justin and the servicing team really rose to the occasion and provided an outstanding experience.

Very friendly and possibly...caring!

Just recently graduated and the first time ever buying a new car with the help of some family members who were all Toyota and Honda owners. Not even before we walked into the building, we were met with a staff member named Syed who mainly helped us through the process of buying a new Hyundai 2022 Sonata SEL Hybird that was on the way to the dealership. To save time, I'll just list some of the positive things we encountered as there's pretty much nothing negative that I've encountered during my time there. - Very friendly: Syed, Julian, Isiah, the man at the souvenir shop, and everyone were extremely friendly, kind, and considerate towards us. They didn't treat us like trash or a walking bag of cash. But rather as human-being since they emphasized to us that they wanted to build a relationship with the customer at Earnhardt. Even though my family members had been pushy and demanding at times when it came to the finances, the staffs were still patience, kind, and double-checking things they didn't know. Little to no pressure whatsoever. - Legal: They're careful about how they do things and made sure things went correctly and without repercussions for both us and them. My mother was even surprised at this process since she didn't experience this kind of level at the Tempe Honda Autoplex when she got her car at Honda. The staff at Earnhardt spoke slowly and kindly to her, and even made the effort to lower the price down on the car. Which I truly and greatly appreciate. - Commission: Everyone at the dealership get a portion of the money when they make a sale on a car, so there's no worry about someone trying to undermine someone else at the dealership. Or having to wait on that one specific person. - Communication: After I got my car, they stayed in contact with us, called us, and made sure things were going smoothly, while proving practical help, such as doing a phone call test through the car to see if we got it, video tutorials/information on the features the car had. And of course, actual email communication that doesn't include advertisements (That's more and quicker than my university ever did!) Again my first time ever purchasing a car and I'm glad it was a good experience. I hope in the distant future when I have finances, I'll come back again if Hyundai has any vehicles I like.

No USFMVSS Certification on their used cars!

Apparently Earnhardt Hyundai is not doing the required US Federal Motor Vehicle certification when they bring cars in from Korea to sell, by confirming that the used Hyundais they are offering were originally sold in the US, and if they weren’t Earnhart is supposed to ensure the cars met all US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards before offering them for sale. I have asked for this i formation from them on the used car I bought from them on numerous occasions, but continue to receive no response. This information is necessary for me to import my car to another country to attend to a family illness. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC.

Flawless Experience

Just left the dealership after taking delivery of my new GV80. Absolutely love the vehicle. Great lines and extremely well equipped. Even can suggest a position for the driver's seat based on my statistics. We came into the dealership not thinking we would buy, but Jonathan was so patient and knowledgeable. He knows the cars inside and out. I had a very specific color combination that I wanted and given the supply chain difficulties we are facing, I doubted I would find it. Jonathan again was patient reviewing existing and incoming inventory and luck would have it exactly what I wanted was available. Today Jonathan spent all of the time I needed to show me all of the features of the vehicle. He sincerely asked me to come back anytime or call with any questions. I also have to give kudos to Ian in Finance. I had purchased a used car from this dealership 6 years ago, and Ian was a pleasure to deal with back then. He has only gotten better. Such a better experience than my last new car purchase from one of the dealers up on Scottsdale and Princess. All in all this is a great dealership with great personnel and I got myself a great SUV.
