Horrible Post-Sales Customer Service

I purchased a brand-new 2018 XC90 Momentum T6 AWD from Bayway Volvo. The salesperson was Bruce Hall. Though the purchase price was good, the post-sales customer care was not. Six months into the ownership, my XC90 leaked all of its A/C Freon. The car was mostly stored in garage and not driven a lot (only 250 miles after 6 months). I took the car to another Volvo dealer that is closer to us for service. After a week of tracing and dismantling of most internal parts (dash, seats, trims, carpet, center console, etc.) they found the culprit: It was a leaky HVAC evaporator. For this issue to happen in a technically brand-new Volvo XC90 is a major disappointment. To see the parts thrown around in the car, oil stains on the Blond leather seats, and scuffs on door scuff plates, trims, dash, pillars is a heartache. I knew that I would never want to take back this car, even if it was fixed. Once you have taken apart the dash and most everything else inside the car, they can never be put back in the same factory condition. So I contacted Volvo Customer Care and requested a new replacement and/or corporate buyback. I then contacted Bruce asking him if there was anything he could do to help facilitate a buyback or a new replacement. He simply responded that I was doing the right thing by escalating this issue to Volvo Customer Care and shrugged off. I have not heard back from him and that was a month ago. I would not buy another car from Bayway Volvo or Bruce Hall.

New XC90 Purchase

My experience with Santiago (salesman) and the whole sales team was truly outstanding. We worked very diligently to find the car of my liking. I never felt pressured to purchase any Volvo products even though it was near closing time and end of month. Santiago went above and beyond to help me with my new lease and I cannot be more thrilled with the process and my new XC90.

car was overpriced and i was lied about specs

I have recently bought a S60 from Vayway Volvo. The sales person (Josh) convinced me to buy this car over an Audi I was considering by saying that this S60 is fully loaded with all packages including Technology Package that worth $2500 itself. And supposedly he gave me a good discount on it. and bc I did not have a car at that time, he said he was gonna bring the car to me once they draft the money from my bank. Well, once they drafted to money, they said they can not bring to car to me, so I took a taxi to go Bayway Volvo to pick the car up. And I noticed that this car has no BLIS, no heated seats, no keyless start, no remote start, NO TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE. Plus, I checked their webpage and I noticed that they sold me the car (even after the big discount they gave me) couple of hundreds over than their listing price. I drove there in 3 days to talk to Josh, he was agree that they overpriced the car and the car does not have the features that he told me. And he promised me to fix all that. As you can guess, I could never get on hold to him ever again. I talked to their manager, ( I think his name was Greg), he was basically saying that I got a good deal on this car, and there is nothing he can do. Supposedly he talked to general sales manager and he said the same thing. Because he told me that Technology package is not installable, I offered them to install heated seats and remote start specs (both costs $1000 instead of $2500 costs Tech.Package). He basically just smiled and said he can not just install $1000 cost things on my car for free, he said I need to see it from business perspectives. Apparently, their business perspective is missing business ethics. As a result, I was lied and fooled by Bayway Volvo.

Very Impressed

Contacted and purchased new V60 over phone. Sales rep was polite and professional and purchase was efficient and delivered as promised. Excellent experience. Will purchase from this dealer again, very impressed.

Great Sales Experience

I bought my S60 from Bayway in part because they had the color and feature combination that I wanted in-stock. But had that not been the case, I still would have done business with them. Travis T. was my salesman and I highly recommend him. He is knowlegeable about Volvos and will ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your new vehicle. For finance, I dealt with Audrey who had quite an exciting personality even though we were wrapping up the deal at 10PM. She is also not pushy about extended warranties, which is a good thing. The only complaint I could make about Bayway is that they are one of those dealers that slaps on an ugly chrome badge with their name on the back of all their cars. Luckily, it is easily removable with some dental floss.

Best Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had!

I've purchase a number of new cars from many different dealers over the years. I have to say this was the most painless, most pleasant, and even most enjoyable experience. Travis was extremely helpful, quickly responded to my emails, and stayed late to complete my purchase. And I got a great deal! Beats my previous experience at another Volvo dealership that was so bad.....that I thought I'd never go to Volvo again. Very glad I went to Bayway and recommend Travis highly.

Excellent Volvo Dealership

First of all, let me say that both the sales person, Travis and sales director, Charles were superb. Not only were they very professional and helpful, they also demonstated the fact that making the customer happy is thier number one priority. They gave me on quotes via email, answered my questions promptly and help me with my trade in. They also were able to get me the price I wanted and had me driving out with my new Volvo the next day. I could have actually driven off the same day had I been driving my trade in that day. I most certainly recommend this dealership for your Volvo needs and know I will be returning once my two year lease is up.
