The Best

The service department is the best. I have had many cars in my lifetime, but Volvo cars of Manasquan is the best. People like Sean in the service area are a pleasure to do business with. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and professional. He is an asset to the organization.

Impeccable Car Dealer

Recently needed car serviced. I was in a tough situation and needed immediate care. Tim Johnson Service Representative listened carefully and together worked out best approach. His attentiveness and professionalism was second to none. I have always had professional and positive experiences working with and purchasing from Volvo of Manasquan. I know a few Audi owners who switched over based on their Customer Service reputation.

Service with a smile.

We took our 2024 XC60 t8 for a small glitch, that is the check engine light. Tim our service advisor was ready for us promptly at 7:30 a.m. the car was pulled into a bay and paperwork for the transaction was ready in addition to the loaner we were going to have sitting next to my car. Tim was so pleasant and I could not say better things about the service department. This is my second vehicle in 6 months, and we will continue to be loyal customers for the rest of our driving career. Kudos to the entire team, Tim service advisor, Brian solari as manager of the department, and Jack Fletcher principal for organizing and maintaining such professionalism. In need of a vehicle? Drive by this dealership Volvo cars manasquan and you will be pleasantly surprised. Also drive by at night to see a beautifully lit showroom of modern Scandinavian design.

Not a good option for buying remotely

Purchased a car remotely from this dealership as there weren’t any S90’s locally that had the options and color I was looking for. The salesman Dan was OK. All communication was done over the phone and his attitude towards me improved greatly once I told him I was going to purchase the car. The last 2 cars I have purchased CPO have needed a break job immediately after purchase. Since the dealers were local they took care of it in their facility, being that this dealer is 400 miles away I was worried that I would get stuck with a 1400 break job. The salesman and the used car manager Joe assured me that they were a reputable dealership and the breaks would be in good order. The car was shipped to my house and I had to wait for the plates to arrive, once they did I took the car to my local Bobby Rahal Volvo to have it inspected so I could put the PA plates on the car. They told me the car needed rear brakes and rotors but everything else was in good order. I contacted my salesman and it took two weeks to get a response from the management. Joe informed me that my local dealer was just trying to up sell me on the rotors and they were most likely fine if I wasn’t feeling pulsing and that they were willing to pay for the brake pads. The total estimate from the Volvo dealer was $702 but Joe offered to send a check for $250 for the brakes. I reluctantly agreed as I am busy and didn’t feel like fighting over a few hundred dollars with a dealer so far from my home. The check never showed up, a week later I called to inquire about it and Joe informed me that he called and left me a VM stating that I had to provide them with a paid invoice for the completed work. I NEVER received a message from him about this. Not in my missed calls or stored in my VM box. I told him to keep the $250 as I was tired of playing all these games. In the end, the one item I was concerned about and asked several times to make sure would not be an issue is the one thing they failed on. I will have to pay the $702 for brakes myself for a CPO car I just spent $35K on.
