Horrible service dept., refuses to take responsibility for mistakes!
Horrible service department who refuse to take any responsibility for their mistakes. This place should be audited by VW!! I brought my car in for a simple recall and had it returned with remaining issues including no horn and buttons on steering wheel still not working. I was told I would be responsible for a $317 special order part to fix these issues and that they were "preexisting conditions." I disagreed, and so did colonial VW in Philly area, who fixed Kelly VW's mistakes--they had to redo the entire recall and found that my remaining issues were due to broken contacts from the controls to steering wheel and wires that did not connect clock spring to clock spring cover-It DID NOT require the special order part Kelly VW wanted me to pay for (I have pictures, the wires were going in every which direction!). VW of America agreed this was the fault of Kelly VW and paid an invoice of over $1000 to fix the mistakes through their Good Will program. When confronted with my complaint directly from VW of America, Kelly VW refused to take any responsibility!!! I am seeking out reimbursement for the 400 miles spent driving to and from Philly TWICE and $94 in tolls and gas, not to mention all of my time...While that may not happen, I would gladly settle for a well deserved audit of this place!!!
