I test drove a car just to see what the new model was like, my brother'd told me he was interested in one, and I liked it, so, applied for the special financing VW was advertising. When it came back that my credit, which is not terrible, did not qualify for the special rate, they told me they wanted $6,600 down, in addition to a brand new Prius, and 11% intererst rate, and treated me like dirt. I wrote back to them, making them another offer, in an effort to try, and negotiate, and they wouldn't even respond to me. Thier way, or the highway! I bought elsewhere, and got a great deal, and was treated much better.
