I drove in with a battery that had to be jumped to get to the dealer, so I had no appointment. The service manager checked the car and then worked me in for a replacement battery. I did have a wait but the waiting lounge was comfortable and well stocked with snacks, drinks and Wifi plus TV. The wait was longer than normal but without an appointment to be expected.

I've never encountered such a comfortable car dealership - no pressure, calm, relaxed, super friendly, they answered all the questions (even some I didn't ask!), the process was so smooth - our sales rep (Don Engel) was beyond awesome, as was the entire staff we encountered. Highly recommend these folks, I know it sound like a commercial but "Subaru of Naples" is really a cut above the rest.

Recall and regular maintenance

Had an appointment for 9:30 am. One of the issues I had was front brakes “chattering “. Service advisor would let me know what they found. After numerous phone calls, finally got ahold of him around 5:00 pm and said brakes needed to be replaced and needed to keep the car overnight. I’m fine with that, I just feel their communication was terrible. Then to boot , I had an appointment with a sales person @10am & got stood up.

Not the least bit impressed with their service Over 3 hours when they said 2 hours They ripped me off for tire lock repair that could have only been done by Subaru dealer This service department is the worst of the 3 that I have work done in the past.

Service sucks. Would give no stars but had to pick 1

Horrible. Car got hit while was getting fixed. Thankfully was ok. Service people basically telling me that since I had so many bugs on my car you could not tell it got hit anyways. Like that matters. Got a tire changed for a blowout and could NOT even put all my parts back in place. Took almost 3 hrs with apptmnt. Couldn’t figure out my tire insurance.

Subaru Forester - Blown Transmission

My transmission blew at 43,000 miles. I towed my car to Subaru of Naples. I called daily but my car sat unattended and undiagnosed until I emailed customer service at Subaru of America. Finally I was told my transmission needed to be replaced as suspected, I had been told that if it was my transmission, I would get a nee one not a manufactured one. Once I got the diagnosis confirmed, I asked again about receiving a new transmission and was again reassured that the transmission would be new and not remanufactured, I asked would guarantee I had that the transmission would be brand new and was told that that was a good question by Troy Swanson. Then asked to speak to the service manager Steve Sedio told me he didn't know if my transmission will be new or remanufactured until he open the box. I told him that was unacceptable that I have been promised a new transmission and I wanted a new transmission. He told me that they did not make new transmission for my car and even went so far as to ask if I thought that they have been sitting on a shelf waiting for me for two years. At this point I asked to speak to the general manager Melinda Harrison. She called her district rep and then call me back and told me that new transmission for my car did not exist. Next I called mini Subaru dealers around the country and asked to speak to their parts department. I asked about the availability of a new transmission for my car and was told by many dealerships that indeed new transmission still exist and in fact they were 88 of them sitting in a warehouse in the west of the country. I emailed Mark Devoe, owner, and did not even get the courtesy of a reply. Subaru of America has been slow to respond and incompetent in their responses. I will never buy another Subaru and I will certainly never go to Devoe Subaru of Naples. The staff all the way up to owner or rude, dismissive, incompetent. I would even go so far as to say criminally negligent.
