Great service, no spare key

My salesman was great....he took care of everything except for my 2nd set of keys.

My car was damaged parked in their parking lot

I went to this dealer to test drive a Corolla. As I drove the Corolla past my currently owned Corolla in their parking lot, I saw that the front end of my car had been smashed in while I was with the salesman. Yes, that's right. Smashed in while sitting in their parking lot! The General Manager said their security cameras were not working and left. I called the police who wrote up a hit and run. One of the salesmen took some pictures and sent them to my insurance company. But other than that, I was on my own. No offer was made to even take care of my deductible. And to top it off, the car I was test driving had been vandalized on the lot and was missing some interior parts. I took my smashed up car to their Collision Repair dept. and was told it would take 4 days to fix. It took three weeks and I had to take it back 3 times for adjustments. And yes, they knew it had been wrecked on their lot and no, they still didn't offer to waive my deductible. So, for $500 (my deductible), they have lost several sales, because I told everybody I know about this incident. Everybody bought cars from someone else. I would recommend that you go elsewhere also.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON ALLSTAR WEBSITE

This dealer lists all of the vehicle of a certain model within hundreds of miles of their location. They do not have the vehicle in stock. When you inquire for a purchase, they may say that vehicle is in Texas, but let me see if i can find you one. What a waste of my time.

Will not buy from again

I have previously purchased two new 4Runners from All Star Toyota of Baton Rouge and have been very pleased with them in the past. Recently, I decided to trade in my 06 4Runner for a 09 Camry SE. I went to the dealership and met with a salesperson. We discussed a price for the new Camry and also a value for my trade. The salesman went by the NADA trade in book he had and I even looked at it to make sure he wasn't trying to scam me. Everything was printed out on an invoice for me and I put down a $500 deposit to order my new car. A little over a week later my new Camry came in so I went to All Star to pick it up. After filling out some paperwork, and nearly 1.5 hours later, my salesman came to me and said that he didn't know where this other salesman got the trade in value for my 4Runner that they previously offered to me ($21,500) but the best they could to was $15,500. EXCUSE ME?!?! Not only was that a ridiculously low offer ($2k lower than kbb and $4k lower than NADA), but we had already AGREED on a deal and a deposit was made. They apologized and tried to place the blame on another salesman that wasn't there at the time, even though the manager pre-approved everything. They said there was nothing that could be done about it, so I took my deposit and my 4Runner and left. Later that evening I received a phone call from my salesman asking if I was still going to buy the car because they had another customer interested in it. I am shocked at the way they treated a third time customer and I will never shop with All Star Toyota of Baton Rouge again.
