I must say, I absolutely LOVE my new 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. In fact, every day I find more reasons to become attached to my new car. The moment my middle son and I showed up to look at this car, which had just been brought over from another dealership, I knew this was the car for me. It was barely used, with extremely low mileage. It was still covered by the three Jeep warranties. It was not either a stripped-down model of the Cherokee, nor a fully-dressed up version either. I was impressed and pleased with the service and attention I have been received from Statesboro’s Franklin Toyota and Chevrolet dealership from the moment I set foot on their lot My salesman, Dean, came out to greet us, and listened carefully to what I wanted to do. He didn’t try to “upsell me.” If he had, I would have simply walked away. He listened to my comments attentively. He did not try to bluff me when he didn’t know the answer to one of my questions, he simply found someone at the dealership who did know. The owner, Lehman Franklin came out and introduced himself. I felt as if I were the most important person in the building, not a feeling I’ve experienced at any of the other dealerships ive dealt with. When it came to my trade-in, they searched out a car wholesaler who wanted my car, and were thus able to give me a more than fair trade-in price. I found there were two things I felt should be included with the car before I bought it. They agreed to provide them as I requested, and did just that. They worked me on the financing, and have continued to do so. They’ve contacted me several times to let me know that one of the things I had requested had arrived. Bottom line: I recommend Franklin Chevrolet-Toyota absolutely and without any reservation. I will urge any and all of my friends whom I learn are interested in purchasing another car, be it new or used, to first go to Franklin Chevrolet-Toyota. As to any of my car needs, I know I’ve now found my new home.

Lost Sale

Visited this dealer on 1/28/14. End of January and raining. Only customer in the lot. The salesman asked me how i was doing. Never introduce himself by name. Immediately asked me to go inside and show him drivers license and fill out some paperwork. I politely told him I wanted to look at vehicles before I filled anything out. He showed me two vehicles, a new and a used tacoma, and allowed me to test drive them. After getting a quote for both, I decided to make an offer on the used one. He began to tell me how his price was carefully selected based on NADA guides and 20,000 other websites across the internet. He would not give me a cent lower. The funny thing is that his own website at the dealer had the vehicle listed $300 below what his first/ final offer was. I politely thanked him for his time and walked away. I can't believe a salesman would not even do a counter offer at all. I did low ball him, but I believe he could have met me at the middle. I guess they met their quote for the month or just wanted to go home since the weather was bad. Their lost. I will buy my Tacoma elsewhere. Also, I am a member of USAA and could get that same vehicle for a lot lower than he offer. I did not bring any of this up because of his unwilling-less to work with me.
